Admitting
your
loved
one
in
a
facility
for
mental
health
care
is
an
incredibly
difficult
decision.
At
a
time
like
this
you
need
a
healthcare
system
that
you
can
fully
rely
on
and
trust
to
take
care
of
the
patient
while
you
are
not
present
and
to
keep
you
wholly
informed
of
the
treatment
process.
I
think
Tulasi
healthcare
has
incredible
staff
with
the
best
intentions.
Tanvi
Arneja
was
a
particularly
wonderful
Therapist
there
-
she
was
supportive
and
encouraging
during
the
sessions,
yet
firm
where
necessary
to
push
for
medication
and
activity
compliance.
She
was
the
single,
steady
point
of
contact
for
my
family
and
managed
everyone’s
expectations
&
cross
communication
with
the
broader
staff
as
needed.
She
also
gained
trust
and
built
great
rapport
with
the
patient.
At
times
she
was
the
only
one
who
kept
my
outlook
hopeful
about
the
treatment
process
-
thank
you
Tanvi!
For
part
of
the
time
we
also
had
the
pleasure
of
working
with
Dr
Anu,
who
was
very
knowledgeable,
thorough,
and
addressed
my
questions
with
a
lot
of
empathy
and
understanding.
Even
the
Account
team,
cleaners,
kitchen
staff,
etc
all
are
very
kind
and
respectful.
If
you
are
questioning
whether
to
take
this
step
for
yourself
or
loved
one,
it’s
important
to
know
that,
more
often
than
not,
mental
health
is
a
long
term
journey
-
and
THC
is
a
great
place
to
start.
It
definitely
gave
us
the
change
we
desperately
needed.
For
the
THC
facility
itself
if
I
have
one
constructive
feedback
it
is
to
enable
some
disciplined
structure
around
patient
care
communication
(i.e.
weekly/bi-weekly
check-ins
at
the
same
set
time
with
the
guardian,
these
check-ins
should
not
be
moved
or
interrupted
just
because
“rounds
are
going
on”,
and
there
should
be
a
fixed
format
and
clarity
around
detailed
information
to
provide
—
over-communicate
what’s
happening/changing/being
observed
so
the
family
doesn’t
have
to
pull
information
by
asking
a
lot
of
questions
that
they
may
not
even
know
to
ask).
