I am here to share an honest experience with Dr. Ajay Kaul. Dr. Kaul and his team is truly commendable. I would say Dr. Kaul is a genius cardiac surgeon. My father is treated by him for CABG and he is absolutely fine. He was in very high risk category just because of only 30% of LV function. He might has needed of Balloon pump support in that case but Dr. Kaul has insured no need of that support that saved my money around 75K and I completely thankful for this of Dr. Kaul. Mr. Gaurav his manager is also a nice person and very helpful. He helped me everywhere where I needed during treatment. I must say Anesthesia Head Dr. Sameer is also a nice person and helpful. He always guided me where I needed even after discharge of my father from hospital. That is very unusual I experienced earlier with some other hospitals. Other staff Mahendra (PA) of Dr. Kaul is also a nice person. I would like to thank other team members as well whom I don`t know by the name. One more thing I would like to recommend Fortis Management to please make sure bed availability for the patient because I saw there were long waiting for the admission. My mother was advised by Dr. Ajay Kaul in Feb. 2022 to go for TAVR. I was assured the valve will last for at least 10 years. Though the estimated expenditure was very high (Rs.20 lac), in order to save life of my mother, I followed his advice and got TAVR on her in March 2022. The functioning of her heart improved from 35 to 50 percent. To our surprise the functioning came down to 35 percent within six months. She started facing the same problem prevailing pre TAVR. She had to be admitted frequently in Fortis, Noida because of poor pumping of heart. It was brought to our notice the valve Myval-23 ( product of Meril Life Sciences) replaced in March 2022 has been degenerated and TAVR need to be done again. Dr. had no satisfactory answer to his commitment of minimum 10 years warranty of valve. Yes, he took up the matter with Meril and discussions with w.r.t free replacement of valve was in progress with the manufacturer but my mother passed away in the meantime due to malfunctioning of such a costliest valve of Meril. It was not expected from management of Fortis or Dr. to go for a sub standard product when there is a question of once life.

I went for my mother heart surgery and Dr Ajay kaul has review the case and guided me properly. His team is also very supportive. Now my mother is doing good after successful surgery. Thanks to Dr Ajay kaul and his team Dr Mathew and Shayista for guidance and support during the procedure..

My father passed away due to Kidney failure after CABG surgery conducted by him and his team of inefficient doctors at Fortis Noida. They never gave credible explanation about such failure, if a doctor can’t give explanations of what went wrong then god knows how he is even allowed to operate on humans. Be aware.!
