I
had
high
expectations
of
Little
Italy
and
was
a
bit
disappointed.
The
restaurant
is
quite
big
and
they
were
very
busy
when
we
arrived.
We
were
seated
at
7:45pm
and
waited
15
minutes
for
someone
to
come
to
our
table.
Our
wine
took
another
15
minutes
to
arrive,
my
cocktail
never
arrived,
they
were
out
of
3
of
4
red
wines
on
the
list
and
our
bottled
water
took
another
half
hour
to
arrive
(after
I
asked
about
it).
One
of
our
5
meals
arrived
at
8:45pm
(we
didn't
have
starters)
and
the
other
4
came
out
over
the
next
17
minutes.
My
sister
had
finished
her
meal
before
I
got
mine.
The
food
overall
was
excellent;
we
had
salmon
penne
pasta,
gnocchi
pesto
(second
choice
after
no
lasagne),
gnocchi
gorgonzola
and
two
steaks.
The
peppered
sirloin
didn't
have
the
garlic
foccaccia
bread
as
advertised;
this
had
been
substituted
with
pita
bread.
It
was
still
tasty
though.
The
tiramisu
was
rather
stodgy,
not
light
and
melt-in-your-mouth
like
usual.
I
think
it
had
been
in
the
fridge
for
too
long.
What
I
was
most
disappointed
with
is
that
the
maitre
d'/restaurant
manager
didn't
appear
to
help
his
staff
at
all.
He
spent
half
an
hour
chatting
to
the
table
behind
us
while
his
young
staff
ran
around
trying
to
manage
everything.
Perhaps
if
he'd
taken
an
active
interest
in
his
restaurant,
we
wouldn't
have
waited
so
long
for
service
and
I
might
have
received
my
cocktail.
The
prices
here
are
very
expensive
and
I
think
they
need
to
up
their
game.
