I forgive all my prior pizza experience in Tonga after tonight. I ordered the bluecheese and 4 cheese pizza to go tonight and I was floored. i picked up the order and took a bite of the blue cheese in the car(I was hungry) and it was absolutely mouthwatering and creamy. Great cheese to crust ratio. This is my first time trying Little Italy's and you did not disappoint. You have a new happy customer. Grazie mille

Wonderful food. The staff don’t seem to be happy to serve you or to be at work.

Very popular with the locals and there were a couple big groups there. We had to go up after about 20 minutes to order as no one came to our table. But the food was ok and it is reasonably priced and quite fast once we ordered.

Nice home style Italian restaurant, on the ground floor of the hotel. Authentic style decor and menu. Seafood spaghetti was pretty good, with a mix of fresh and frozen seafood, which is understandable for the region.

I used to love their pizza's years ago, but this time was a huge disappointment. The pizza's are still large but they have way too much cheese and not enough pepperoni. Service was poor, owner doesn't greet you when you're waiting there to be attended to, person at the counter just doesn't acknowledge when people are waiting infront of them. I might come back for the atmosphere but I'm done with the pizzas.

Popular pizza resto located seaside, in the hotel. Lovely position. Family sized pizzas are huge. It's very popular with locals and visitors alike. The hotel is conformable and clean, good quality, and I've stayed a few times for work. A cat is a new feature.

I had high expectations of Little Italy and was a bit disappointed. The restaurant is quite big and they were very busy when we arrived. We were seated at 7:45pm and waited 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. Our wine took another 15 minutes to arrive, my cocktail never arrived, they were out of 3 of 4 red wines on the list and our bottled water took another half hour to arrive (after I asked about it). One of our 5 meals arrived at 8:45pm (we didn't have starters) and the other 4 came out over the next 17 minutes. My sister had finished her meal before I got mine. The food overall was excellent; we had salmon penne pasta, gnocchi pesto (second choice after no lasagne), gnocchi gorgonzola and two steaks. The peppered sirloin didn't have the garlic foccaccia bread as advertised; this had been substituted with pita bread. It was still tasty though. The tiramisu was rather stodgy, not light and melt-in-your-mouth like usual. I think it had been in the fridge for too long. What I was most disappointed with is that the maitre d'/restaurant manager didn't appear to help his staff at all. He spent half an hour chatting to the table behind us while his young staff ran around trying to manage everything. Perhaps if he'd taken an active interest in his restaurant, we wouldn't have waited so long for service and I might have received my cocktail. The prices here are very expensive and I think they need to up their game.

Delightful decor and delicious dinner made for a lovely evening out. Food was tasty, prices were not bad, and the selection was decent. Definitely one of the better dining experiences in Tonga. Generous portions had us taking some away to finish later; sadly we couldn't manage dessert!

I recently dined at Little Italy in Tonga and had an overall delightful experience. All the food was delicious, with each dish showcasing authentic Italian flavors. However, the steaks were below average, lacking the tenderness and seasoning expected. Despite this, the amazing service and charming atmosphere made the visit enjoyable. Little Italy is a wonderful spot for Italian cuisine, though you might want to skip the steaks.

The food itself was decent, but the service was severely lacking. It took a very long time for someone to bring us menus, and we felt largely ignored by the staff. My pizza arrived after 40 minutes, which is quite a wait. Additionally, when I requested a takeaway box, they charged me for it and even expected me to pack the pizza myself. Overall, it wasn't the authentic "Little Italy" experience I was hoping for.

It's more american pizza than italian, so I was disappointed. Nice place on waterfront.

Waste of money. Sometimes the pizza is burnt. Most of the time too much dough and not enough toppings.

Stayed here for two nights. Accommodation decent. Breakfast nice. Restaurant food average. Service inconsistent. Seems to dominate island as very busy; not really sure why...

Went here with friends to eat dinner. Tasty big dishes. Foccacia was great and pizza was big and tasty. Just be sure to expect mediocre and hardly any proper table service when they are busy. There were 3 servers for the whole restaurant which clearly is not enough.

Had the godfather pizza which was average, Gorgonzola gnocchi and creamy vegetarian pasta which was the best of the bunch. Ran out of salad ingredients though and weren’t given the option for another salad. Ok service.

Laid back atmosphere, with extremely cheesy pizza compared to anything else I've had on Tongatapu. The pizzas seem expensive but with a group of us and starters it worked out be ~$20TOP per person. I'd go back again 🍕

(Translated by Google) Little Italy deserves a prize for the excellent food and hospitality, as in all restaurants there is a day of closure "then rest" but unfortunately many people are not yet able to understand how things work in a serious restaurant ... so we avoid junk comments because you make you ridiculous and pathetic (Original) Little italy merita un premio per l'ottimo cibo e accoglienza, come in tutti i ristoranti esiste un giorno di chiusura"quindi di riposo"ma purtroppo molte persone non sono ancora in grado di capire come funzionano le cose in un ristorante serio...quindi evitiamo commenti spazzatura perché vi rendete ridicoli e patetici

Got our main before our starter. Lemon butter fish sauce-fish too dry, lasagne was lovely, so as the steak & eggs, grilled marinated fish a little dry, mushroom steak was nice, our bread came after our mains. Greek Salad comes in 10 mins if you want to order something that comes quick. I’m still waiting for my seafood platter (going in 2hrs14mins wait. Regardless of this the waiter was all smiles and patient…we felt for him, fantastic waiter
