Excellent service. Ordered an item online for in-store collection. They had it ready within minutes, and when I got there one of the staff went out of his way to find one with an undamaged box. Employees like that are what make physical stores worthwhile.

Lost a whole day using valspar furniture paint from B&Q. Four attempts, lots of sanding and poor finish. Three trips, two tins of paint and a refund. Staff couldn't give me a reason for my problems, and I felt they didn't care. I'll never use valspar furniture paint again from B&Q. Disappointing experience. I'd recommend Johnstone's trade eggshell instead. Recommended and sourced elsewhere from staff who know about paint. In the end I saved my son's birthday present just in time.

They work with minimal staff but it works. They have a good range of not bad quality and a good selection in the garden centre. I will continue to use them as I have done for many many years.

Bought 2 x 2.5 Ltr Valspar paints mixed to colour got home gave another good mix but found paint had lots of old skin mixed in from what appears to be old paint base being used so ended up picking out lumps when painting on wall maybe not such a high demand product from a small B and Q hence why paint could be out of date

Went online to buy an egg chair. Didn't realise it was from a b&q marketing company. They delivered item not sending the stand so I have egg chair & cushion plus the base. I have to wait 48 hours for reply email. Their head office couldn't wait to get off the phone and not at all sympathetic reassuring me that my comments will be past on. I have no direct contact to sort this out and am left feeling let down and frustrated that I have missing part's to my item. The excuse given was that they may not have found the box in the warehouse and that if they have no room on the van they will not deliver altogether. Right now I'm feeling ripped off.
