My partner made a reservation for the Motherā€™s Day brunch for our family thinking it would be a great way to enjoy the holiday. At first glance everything looked promising, but as the event unfolded we were mistaken. The food was disappointing (dry baked goods, some that had clearly been frozen and not thawed properly, making most items inedible. It took a half hour wait for the omelette station with no other egg option. The seafood items went quickly and it took over an hour for only some of the items to be replenished, others were never replenished). The staff seemed overwhelmed with the volume of tables, and could not keep up with the demand. Plates and silverware were not turned over well, so even when things were replenished, hard to find anything to put the food on. At the conclusion of the meal, we had been given a bill that included our 4 meals Which had been prepaid as well as an unexpected charge for the orange juices we had (we believed juice, coffee, and tea were included), a 22% event tip that was non negotiable apparently, and tax on the whole bill. Upon inquiring about the charges, the venue staff was quite rigid and rude. All in all, this was an expensive meal that was absolutely not worth it. I would be hard pressed to return for a meal, and certainly not an event if it can be avoided. I gave the review 2 stars instead of 1 since our server seemed to genuinely feel bad about how the event played out and because the atmosphere and decor was lovely. If this venue plans to host such a large event for something like Motherā€™s Day, they either need to improve the quality of their food, communication, and hunger of staff, or reduce the price significantly to adequately reflect what it is they can offer.

Wonderful hotel, rooms are very spacious and have beautiful features! The interior designer out did themselves. Front desk was very accommodating and helpful! I was sad to see during our stay that the restaurant inside was closed for renovations. I wish they gave a heads up while booking but was still a great stay nonetheless! The pool is not attached to the hotel itā€™s a short 3-4 minute walk from the building. Our first day unfortunately they had some difficulties and the pool/hot tub were both very cold. Thereā€™s a desk when your first walk into the pool house where staff sit, the staff assured us by the following day the pool would be back in order (which it was!). Only real downside to the pool is lack of privacy due to the desk being right In front of the pool. It would be nice if they put up a small folding wall divider of some sort The spa was amazing! We booked a pre-natal massage with them and absolutely loved it! The Masseuse was a super sweet woman that made you feel very comfortable and gave one great massage.

I would avoid this place for at least 1-2 years until they get their act together. There was a mass exodus of employees over the last couple of months. The restaurant was closed. The bar was opened 2 days prior to our arrival (Dec. 28) and the poor bartender that was hired at the same time was given limited supplies to work with. She ran out of lemons, limes, vermouth, olives, coors light, etc.... She was given limited, mix-matched glassware. The system for room charging was inoperable. They offered a limited menu since the restaurant was closed. The first time we ordered, they were out of French fries and chicken wings. However, the food they were able to prepare was delicious. The last straw was their New Years Eve party. Tickets were sold by the hotel and a third-party company, Event Bright. Apparently, after the party sold out, Event Bright continued to sell tickets. Many people, including myself, were turned away because our tickets were no good!?!? A LOT of people were quite angry. I had to dispute this with my credit card company. Not the new years I expected! There were many more things wrong with this place that I just can't recall now. The Hotel does have great potential. There was/is a cigar lounge that, of course, was shut down. It's the reason my wife booked this place because I like a good cigar lounge. Their website is very misleading. But, if they can get their act together and offer everything they advertise, it would be a wonderful place to spend a long weekend at. I gave it 3 stars only because of the great staff that was there. Shout out to the only bartender, Anna, who worked a miracle without supplies and the receptionist Michelle, who was approachable and friendly even when the stress of the situation was getting to me. If the owners of this place had half a brain, they would find a competent G.M. and give Anna and Michelle a raise to retain them. My wife and I are going back in one year to see if the Merrimack Chateau is everything we thought it was going to be.

Used to go to the restaurant here often when it was still Stonehenge Inn and decided to give the new owners and the new restaurant a try. Great food. Great list of drinks. Some of the menu options are on the more pricey side but the place is worth it. Staff are super nice and friendly and the chief checked on us a few times to make sure we are getting good service. The new after space renovation is also very modern and trendy. Would definitely go back!

My husband and I have been to Many five star hotels and I think that the ChĆ¢teau Merrimack deserves a 3.5 Star. I made the reservation via phone and let them know that it is my husband and Iā€˜s 25th wedding anniversary and we were celebrating it there for three days. There was absolutely no acknowledgement of our special day which was sad šŸ˜ž We were never told about the $150 incidental fee that we would be charged when we arrived This is the very first time that I was charged in full on my credit card before I was even checked in. Usually they charge your credit card when you check out. Every person at the reservation desk saw you walk in the door, looked up and none of them smiled. None of them said hello. None of them said goodbye. We were given absolutely no information about the resort when we checked in nothing about the pool hours nothing about the spa, or dining, breakfast, nothing. I found out about a continental breakfast from a review that I read after weā€™ve been here for two days The room was really nice. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom is outdated and a fan in the bathroom would have been nice. We had the enclosed porch which was lovely but a dimmer switch is needed on the light. It was so bright to keep on when relaxing at night. There was a smart TV in the room with no directions. If my husband was by himself he would have never been able to watch tv. The outside lighting at night on the building is beautiful but the lights in the parking are not on and itā€™s dark. I had a massage at the spa which was wonderful. We did spend a few hours at the pool - it was weird as all the spa people sat in the corner and just watched us - we felt uncomfortable The pool is supposed to be heated - it was quite chilly Tried the hot tub and there were black things floating around. Having outside buildings without an enclosed walkway from the main hotel will not be fun in the winter. Hopefully management takes this as constructive criticism

Donā€™t go here for drinks!! My husband and I met a friend for drinks the night before his wedding. He ordered an Old Fashioned, my husband and I both ordered Tequila Mules. The bartender decided to make a peach Old Fashioned even though that is NOT what was ordered. The mules were small and mediocre. We decided to try margaritas for our next round - they were also mediocre, and they were garnished with lemons instead of limes. Honestly, all of that wasnā€™t even a huge deal, some drinks just arenā€™t exactly what you want. Then we got the billā€¦the mules were $21 a piece and the margaritas $22 a piece. Insane!! We have never paid that much for drinks. Even that was not the end of the world, itā€™s just strange to pay more than Boston or Denver prices an hour outside a major city when the drinks are mediocre. Especially when in a hotel lounge where we are having to go to the bar for every drink despite there being less than ten patrons at the time. What pushed it over the edge was that they charged our card for the first round, then charged it again for BOTH rounds and included a 20% automatic ā€œlarge partyā€ gratuityā€¦for 3 people. They did all of this without letting us know or showing us the checks. After trying to fix this for 20 minutes with the bar completely empty at this point, charging and crediting our card FIVE times (including claiming they returned more than we paid at one point which we verified with our bank app was untrue), they (including the manager) made no attempt do anything but hand us a roughly correct check and an insincere apology. We are generally pretty easy going people, weā€™re not picky about our drinks and expect to pay for what we order. We have been to a lot of bars in many cities and never had an experience like this one.

The food here was excellent! The style of food is nostalgic with almost melt-in-your-mouth unique fries. We went here for my dad's birthday and the manager came out to sing happy birthday with us! Sadly there were only a couple other people there at the time to enjoy the tasty food. This place is insanely underrated 10 out of 10 would recommend

My husband and I recently had dinner there. We each got one of the stews. It was amazingly delicious with friendly wait staff. And bartender Melek made the most perfect delicious sangria (and I'm very picky about my sangria's)! The renovations were tastefully done with lots of ambience. I'm looking forward to next spring/summer when the outdoor patio is open (with its gorgeous outdoor fireplace). All in all a very pleasant and satisfying experience.

My husband and I had one of THE best dining experiences. Everything from the appetizers all the way to deserts, including drinks were AMAZING! We highly recommend it. They can accommodate all party sizes as well. Be sure to ask for Havean for your server. She was fantastic!

I'm sure this place is very nice. However, I drove for 6 hours after making a reservation through booking. Upon arrival, at 12am, I was told that they did not have a room for me. They informed me that they sold out and booking shouldn't have advertised the room since they were under a "soft opening" according to the Director of Operations, Jay. I never received any indication that a room would not be available when I showed up at this crazy hour. It's now next to impossible for me to find accommodations for the night. I didn't receive any compensation other than telling me I wouldn't be charged for the room. I'm not sure if this place decided to book rooms themselves, leaving those who booked elsewhere online out in the dark, but its pretty shady. The situation could have been handled better. It just seemed like they didn't care. There were 2 other families who showed up while we were talking to Jay in the lobby, and they were all turned away from their reservations as well. If you book through a website, don't trust that your room will be there waiting for you. This place needs some serious logistics work, especially for a business who caters to the public.

It takes me a lot to write a negative review but this was just an awful awful experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Me and my boyfriend live in Boston and wanted to enjoy a relaxing spa weekend and enjoy the amenities here and the only thing they were able to provide was the room. NOTHING was available even after confirming upfront. We made Spa appointments 3 weeks in advance for the Sunday we were there. Saturday night they emailed to inform us that our spa reservation was cancelled because the technician wasnā€™t available. This was the main reason we paid to stay there for the weekend. We not only couldnā€™t get our spa experience here- but it was such late notice we couldnā€™t book anything else anywhere. I also confirmed in advance with the front desk that the restaurant was open and we found out when we got there it wasnā€™t. We had to eat in their lounge basically in the lobby. We paid over $500 for the room as they couldnā€™t offer anything else. We would have gone pretty much anywhere else had we known. I wrote a complaint to the manager directly and didnā€™t even get a response. Itā€™s clear they donā€™t care about customer experience and are just trying to keep the doors open. Would NOT recommend to anyone. They do not have it together.

Horrible. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, you can tell a lot of money was put into the building, BUT- To start the rooms are terrible- my jacuzzi tub had pubes (sorry) in it so i never used it, there was a massive stain on the sofa chair, damaged walls, phones didn't work, TV kept going on after id shut it off, the fridge smelt like something died in it too, and the lights were also blinking randomly. They said they did offer room service, but that the phones were down, so I had to place it in person, and they didn't have enough staff. So I had to come back down 15 minutes later. Food (pizza) was also terrible- tasted like it was microwaved almost. Lastly, the service was uncomfortable too. The front desk woman was fidgety, quick answered, and I overheard her being rude to another customer (not so much us) Absolute horrible "resort", was a terrible place to stay after my wedding. Sorry but I'd never go back, id never refer anyone here.

We booked Chateau Merrimack for a night during a road trip from the south back to Canada and what a treat! We were warmly welcomed and immediately charmed by the thoughtful decor, gorgeous wood trimmings and smell of the wood burning fireplace on the main floor. The rooms are very large, clean and delightfully decorated, and the bathrooms are extremely spacious, clean and stocked with lovely products that were a treat to use after we spent time at the wonderful pool and hot tub. The restaurant was closed for upgrades, but we ate in the bar and shared delicious Caesar salad, crispy fries and flavourful wings between three of us and were satisfied and stuffed. After dinner we were treated to a tour of the charming new restaurant space by the kind front desk attendant. The library/ lounge is beautiful and modern and we had a look at photos of the original hotel decor from the 80ā€™s. What a transformation this hotel has undergone, itā€™s incredible! If this hotel was close by, for this price we would be booking a stay regularly. It sounds like they may be ironing out some kinks based on some other reviews, but given the incredible transformation this hotel had undergone, that makes sense. I hope people are patient and give them a chance. This a special stay and we really hope to return. We really wish we could have stayed longer and were able to use the pool and amenities more. This hotel would be perfect for a romantic or fun weekend away or staycation, and the price was right for both!

We stayed here this past weekend and were in the Executive Room with Jacuzzi and Fireplace (Venice room). The building, room, and restaurant itself was very nice. We were definitely under the impression that they were very short-staffed, but the staff they did have working was trying their best to ensure their guests had a nice experience. The food in the restaurant was priced appropriately and we were happy with the quality of the food. Our server did a good job. The room we stayed in was very nice and was clean aside from a yellow sofa that had multiple, large stains on it. The tv in the room would not stay turned off and I had to get up at 3am and unplug it. The jacuzzi tub in our room was lovely but it took (no exaggeration) half an hour to fill up with water and a very long time to drain as well. But the tub was clean and the water temperature was hot enough. There was also a door in a nearby hallway or room that every time it was used, we would hear a loud bang from inside of our room. The spa, hot tub, and pool was in a separate building which we walked to by choice even though it was very cold outside. The front desk is literally poolside without any sort of separation which was a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, the locker room was locked and inaccessible. It was explained to us that the locker room was a part of the closed spa. However, we did need to use it as we had walked over in our full winter clothing and needed to change into our bathing suits. The lady working the front desk did offer to go over to the main building to get the key for the locker room and after doing so, was no longer around so that we could have the privacy of the pool and hot tub. The locker that we were given access to was damaged and would not properly lock and secure. However, the pool and hot tub itself was beautiful and well maintained. This Resort & Spa has a lot of potential which is the reason for my 4/5 rating. We would like to come back after some time has passed and some of their issues have been addressed. I believe that this has the potential to be a really nice relaxing getaway, but in our opinion, the quality was not quite there just yet.

My daughter and I stayed here for a night and to enjoy the spa the next day for my birthday. My daughter called and made all the reservations. Room was beautiful and spacious. Our dinner was very good. There were maybe six of us in the restaurant on a Thursday night. Eerily quiet. Grounds nice ( planters were all empty yet first week of June). Checked out in morning told them we were heading over to the spa. Got a locker key, sat by the pool, barely any ventilation on a 90 degree day. We tried to open some of the screen doors, all locked. We went to check in for spa service after an hour and the girl at the desk told us the spa wasnā€™t even open yet. Said this keeps happening. We were so disappointed. It was the main reason we met up there. Manager apologized and said the spa mgr. was taking a vacation before having to come back and open the place. Wow. No one ever communicated to us that it wouldnā€™t be open. Someone took our reservations. So poor. My daughter felt so bad. We wonā€™t be going back. Six years ago we had a very nice experience there. Not this time.

I had the pleasure of staying at Chateau Merrimack Resort & Spa during my recent business trip and it was amazing! The hotel was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. But what really stood out for me was the exceptional service from the staff. The waitress at the restaurant in particular went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Highly recommend Chateau Merrimack Resort & Spa for anyone looking for a pleasant stay!

My wife and I ate here on Sunday after wanting to check it out since the reopening and we were not disappointed! Our server, Gary, was attentive and gave great insight into the various menu items. The menu itself is a breath of fresh air for this area saturated in pub food - this place offers with amazing middle eastern flavors. We started with the wings and charcuterie and then had the sea bass and chicken for our main meals and it was packed full of flavor. The ambiance and overall updates to the building and restaurant are absolutely stunning. At the end of our meal the owner Jonathan came over to introduce himself to my wife and I and chat for a bit and told us about their near term future plans. What a great experience and what I hope to be a landmark location in town - can't wait to go back, especially when the warmer weather hits and the patio opens.

My husband and I spent the night here on our wedding night, we got married in our state of VT but had to catch an early flight out of Boston, so we stayed here and it was absolutely wonderful. The facility is beautiful, staff is helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond on our special night. The front desk must have communicated with the restaurant because they new we were coming and had a lovely special table set up with us with flowers and off to the side for some privacy. Food was EXCELLENT. I am still mad I couldn't eat it all before we had to leave the next morning.. They surprised us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. We love history so spent some time in the library, the general manager gifted us a special book that we liked. Every thing was wonderful. Thank you to making our wedding night even more special! would love to come back.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at this Resort. Fabian, the PINO Bartender, was awesome. He is such a people person and very customer-focused. He would go out of his way to check on us and see how we're doing, if we need anything, how the drinks were and so much more. He was a delight to chat with and just made our experience even more enjoyable! He also made a killer espresso martini and even accommodated our request for a chocolate martini. The food at the PINO was also yummy! The only complaint is that the Chef and Wait Staff need to be more aware of their menu because one night I ordered the Greens Salad, which specifically stated that it included cherry tomatoes and shaved parmesan cheese, but it didn't have either. Fortunately, I had downloaded the menu because our waitress, Sue, who seemed irritated by any of our requests, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed, argued with me that it did NOT include these. It wasn't until I actually showed her the menu on my phone that she brought me the cherry tomatoes and shaved parmesan cheese. Sue was a nice waitress and did a good job, but she was somewhat hesitant to accommodate us and passive aggressive. The 2nd night, I ordered the same vegetable medley side dish and it was NOT the same at all. The first night, it had broccolini, asparagus, summer squash, tomatoes, green beans, and a few other veggies, but the 2nd night, it was only the broccolini and tomatoes. On a positive note, the hostess who worked the check-in stand at the PINO, who's name I did not get, was awesome! She had such a friendly, happy, positive, welcoming personality! Also, I did not get this person's name either, but there was an older lady at the front desk and she was extremely accommodating and expressed such service and hospitality. The other front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful. The Yoga teacher at the JuJu spa taught an AWESOME yoga class. She was very helpful, gentle, patient, encouraging and went to our pace. Michelle, my aesthetician, did a great job with my facial. She is also very talented, gentle and calming. A couple of complaints in this area is that my friend had requested a male masseuse for her deep tissue massage and was thoroughly disappointed when it was a female and there were no males working that day. The female masseuse didn't apply enough strength and pressure to alleviate her aches and sore muscles. Also, I had booked a 90-minute facial. I booked this over the phone with the scheduler at the JuJu spa. I even received confirmation that it was a 90-minute facial, as well as view it in my online account, which also stated 90-minute facial. Also, the literature and website for the JuJu spa STATED 90-minute facial so I'm not sure what the problem was, but I only received a 50-minute facial. I asked if they ever offered a 90-minute facials and I was told, "No". I then said that they need to UPDATE their website and literature because it states there are 90-minute facials. We loved the pool and hot tub area, but they do need to clean the pool and hot tub much better because the water, seating, floors and sidewalls were VERY slimy! Also, they need to clean the glass on the solarium because the windows were very dirty and you couldn't even see through the roof. The room was beautiful, but the couch and linens had stains. We loved the deep soaking tub though! One complaint is that there are no microwaves in the room, nor can you pay extra to have one, nor is there a community microwave in the lobby for guests to use, which is standard at all hotels and resorts that I've stayed in. We had to keep asking the front desk to heat up our food. Then, I was notified that they can no longer do this because it's not allowed. They DEFINITELY need to implement microwaves in the rooms, or AT LEAST, offer a community one in the lobby. But all, in all, this was a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable stay and we will stay here, again, but I just hope that they remedy the issues that we experienced for future visits.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. The room is spacious and clean, and the look of the hotel overall is nice. It is very quiet when you walk in so much so it is a little awkward. It could use some lobby music. Very disappointed we did not get a notification that the restaurant was closed during our stay. We planned on staying on site so we didnā€™t have to worry about driving anywhere for dinner. We were not notified during check in so it was a surprise to us when we found out an hour before while at the bar. We did eat at prime 10 min down the rd located at the country club. It was amazing and good drinks at decent price. The drinks here are WAY over priced!!! They are def making up for the lack of income from restaurant. We used the pool area at spa. Very nice but again very awkward vibe. The girl at the desk seemed like she didnā€™t want to be there. Place has great potential but is lacking in some areas.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here last week. It was our 2 year anniversary and we wanted to make it special - they made it happen! The food was wonderful at Pino, the room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Beautiful and romantic views, especially at sunset. We had a great time exploring the grounds. Even though it was the off season, they provided excellent customer service and a top notch experience. Thank you to Chateau Merrimack!

They need a lot of work on this place in order to call it a resort. There was no cable or local channels, the apps on the TV didn't even work unless we signed into our own account. Booked a room with a jacuzzi tub and there were no jets in the tub, I paid extra to have a jacuzzi tub and they did give me a discount when i spoke with the manager but it was still obviously false advertising. No fridge in the room, no vending machines or store to buy snacks/drinks. I'm not sure how this would be considered a resort with no amenities (they charge a $35 resort fee). Bed was hard and we had to get maintenance to our room to make the fireplace work. You can tell they spent money on making the place look nice but didn't focus on comfort or basic things you'd expect to find in even a budget hotel. The pool/hot tub were nice and indoors, but in a separate building next door. Ultimately not worth the money.

The place was really nice. Unfortunately when I checked in, I did not realize that the tub was dirty. By the time I noticed, I went down to the front desk to let them know that the tub was full of dirt and hair. The young lady in the front desk apologized and said that the reason why the shower was dirty was because they had a sewage problem. She then gave me the keys to a different room so that I could take a shower. For the amount of money that I paid , there shouldā€™ve been a clean bathroom and shower . They also claimed there was a steakhouse. Their steakhouse was actually a Greek restaurant. Very disappointed.

I went on a staycation with my husband and I always thought this place looked amazing on the outside. However, the pillows and massages were my favorite things. The Juju spa is not attached to the hotel so you have to walk or drive over to it. I was not pleased with as soon as you walk in it is the reception desk right near the pool. It didnā€™t offer much privacy for the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel room may be big but the bed looks like it has queen-size sheets on a king. Our small-sized TV kept glitching saying no internet and logging us out even though we had good weather. The tv continued to turn on after we turned it off multiple times in the middle of the night. We did enjoy the fire place but it does not look like what is seen in the pictures. I didnā€™t even entertain the bar/lounge since everything was overpriced. Overall, I enjoyed my company but I would not spend this much money again here.

Pleasantly surprised to stay at this classy hotel. They don't make hotels like this anymore. I was there for a couple weeks and got to know a few employees. Top service, luxury mattress, great pool and spa, the breakfast is the only thing that sucks. I think it would be better to ditch the traditional continental breakfast with something simple. Just one or two things, done very well. Like a breakfast Chowder, yoghurt bar, some pastries and coffee/tea and that's it. . Ready prep eggs are gross anyway

We were so disappointed in our experience at this hotel. We booked it after a week of camping because we thought it would be a real treat - the photos on the website and the price positioned it as a luxury boutique hotel. Our experience was very different. Broken lights and lacking amenities in the room, the sauna and treatment baths werenā€™t working in the spa, odd pounding music when we went to get breakfast, our room overlooking the car park didnā€™t have curtains but did have a sporadically banging fridge. And when we raised these concerns they were not addressed by staff. We could not recommend this place.

Planned out a girls weekend of spa services and meals here. Was not sure what to expect but exceeded my expectations for sure! Michelle was amazing accommodating our 4 spa services in a timely manner and really set the mood for our trip! We stayed at the hotel as well and the rooms were very roomy and had an amazing old but new vibe. We finished our day by eating at Pino downstairs in the hotel which had such amazing food and deserts. I live in Mass and this was the perfect hidden gem that felt like we were in NH but only a short ride away from home! Most definitely will be returning!

The facility and interior deserves 5star however room -office chair and fixtures/ door lock, bathroom lights and toilet flushknob are old and needs to be replaced. Staff notified and the showed little interest. Free breakfast is mediocre- only hot coffee and the rest is cold prepackaged food.

Went for a couple of spa services and dinner. It was very good and has potential to be excellent. However, as it stands, it was a little overpriced. I'm basing this review on the pricing since it's on par with downtown Boston or a more exclusive experience. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi with tons of space to unwind and relax. There's also a steam room and sauna next to the treatment suites. The sauna wasn't working during our trip, but the other spaces mostly made up for it. Check in was somewhat disorganized and the locker room needs some love- the lockers don't lock properly and the sinks and toilets are a bit rough and could use some attention. It would be nice if there was a separate check-in area away from the pool. Again, being nit picky because that is what the pricing dictates. That said, the service itself was wonderful. I loved Michelle's calming attitude and expertise. The restaurant was really enjoyable! There was again a little confusion getting a table, seemingly due to newly hired staff, but everyone was friendly. We ate family style, sharing a bunch of things, and everything was tasty. Our server was awesome- good suggestions, not pushy, moved quickly when needed and stayed out of our hair when we wanted to hang- very nice and helpful. I'd go again for a long weekend or another day trip. Hope they make some small improvements to make it excellent.

I really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. An old beautiful resort. They had dark rooms and wood with dim lighting. Dark blue carpet. Beautiful huge bar. And I loved that each room had a little balcony. Someone was getting married there in the courtyard. Breakfast was not bad. They had cereal, coffee, juice, and tea, fruit and different types of pastries. My daughter was hoping for waffles but you would have to pay for the hot breakfast. But we enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like is there isn't a bright light in the rooms so it's kind of hard to see at night. Otherwise we loved it.

Beautiful location, tucked away so the atmosphere feels relaxed as soon as you get out of your car. Service was pretty good! There was a tad bit of waiting at the front desk but I chalk this up to front desk staff having duties that take them away from their post during the day. When asking question or for help during our stay all staff was delightful and ready to offer assistance! My boyfriend and I came for a "stay-cation" of sorts and really enjoyed the ammenties of the room. Our bed was so comfortable we hardly wanted to leave and the soaking tub was a nice touch. We had a cute little balcony but it was a bit warm to use it this time around. The pool area was lovely as well! Overall we had a great experience and will be back again for another "stay-cation!"

We visited Pino for our 8th anniversary. At arrival, the host asked us if we have a reservation; I said yes and indicated under who's name. The host said "Ok, would you like to seat at the bar?" My partner and I looked at each other with confusion; nevertheless, we responded that we prefer a table, as we originally reserved. The host then proceeded to mention that she would have to check if there's a table available because they were "busy." At that point, we were even more confused, but patiently waited for a table. The manager approached us, since we look like a little bit lost, seated at a waiting area next to the front bar. He asked if we were taking care of and if we would like a drink. I ordered a cocktail, in the meantime. Despite the several number of open tables, were seated right next to another couple against a middle wall --I wish they would've read the note in the reservation indicating our anniversary and, perhaps, being able to seat in a more "romantic" spot, but it was ok... Our server came to our table and asked if we would like water (explained the different types); we pointed at our waters and said no thank you-- then explained that we were waiting for my cocktail that later arrived. Nonetheless, she said she would come back with water but, after several minutes of waiting, she came back to take the order with no water. We ordered appetizers to begin with; those came between 35-45 minutes after. The appetizers were good, at least! After eating and ordering another drink for myself, we decided to leave instead, since it was now 1 hour and 20 minutes when our server decided to come back to the table to take the order for the main course. In brief, the ambience is beautiful; the service is awful, unfortunately.

Wow, very impressed! Took my wife here to celebrate our anniversary and everything was perfect. Amazing accommodations, pool with hot tub, and the restaurant oh yes the restaurant. Best steak north of Boston along with superb service from our waitress Tracy and finely crafted drinks from Joanne. And speaking of the staff, they are all outstanding; fun, efficient and helpful...Tyler and Lilly at the front desk, and Jeremy in operations. They all greeted us warmly and helped make our stay first class. Thank you!

My wife and I needed a quick, local getaway and chose to give the Chateau Merrimack a try. We had an amazing and unique experience. From the spa to the amazing food at Pino, we were blown away! The atmosphere throughout was both professional and cozy at the same time. We had the opportunity to meet the owner of the resort who was friendly and made us feel right at home. We will absolutely be back and canā€™t wait to see the coffee shop open!

The place was really beautiful and I enjoyed the updated decor. The room was spacious and I loved the bathtub. The mattress on the bed felt very hard and lumpy though and I had a hard time sleeping. Also the light outside the windows are a little obnoxious and killed the vibe of the room. As soon as the bright Fluorescent lights came on I had to shut the shades and the lights still peeked in a little. Maybe that can be fixed with some black out curtains on the inside. Otherwise it was a very gorgeous hotel.

Had a weird introduction with this short bald older gentlemen in a suite when we got there. The approach was a bit rude. Told us thereā€™s a 5 min wait for our reservation. Cool no biggie. Then disappeared and then another gentleman came over and got us in immediately than the guy in the suite But overall tho food wise, vibes, and waitresses were good ! I got the Lamb Chops. VERY GOOD ! Wasnā€™t a tough bite at all ! The rice was amazing ! And shout out to the DJ too ! Made my mood change šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

My husband and I recently stayed here for the weekend. I believe this place has great potential but they are in need of changing some major things if they want to do well. The room was very spacious with comfortable beds but jacuzzi was not cleaned well. They also have no cable which I think is very strange. Their restaurant was closed and I was told my restaurant reservation was cancelled but that there would be a chef to cook up food with a smaller menu. Unfortunately their chef did not show up. We were charged over $40 for two drinks and the bartender didnā€™t even fill our glasses to the top. Lastly the cafe Pasha was probably the worst part of the stay. They had no half and half, undercooked omelet, and staff working were talking poorly about the staff that works during the week. The JuJu spa was nice but the hot tub stopped working while in there. If I am spending over $500 to stay somewhere for two nights then this place is very overrated as it currently stands. I hope them the best.

My husband and I had the most amazing anniversary weekend! Who knew that there was such a quaint, yet charming resort tucked away in Tyngsborough. We absolutely loved the spa equipped with a beautiful indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms. We were snowed in at the resort for the first storm of the year in January and it felt like our luxury home away from home. We stayed in the executive king suite with the hot tub and fire place and enjoyed our room. Kerry at the front desk was so hospitable and accommodating. She made our trip feel very special. In addition to the beautiful restaurant in house there were plenty of yummy restaurants and things to do near by. We will definitely be back whenever we are in need of a weekend getaway!!!

From the moment I arrived I felt a notable sense of relaxation. The hotelā€™s design and the wonderful staff gave the opportunity with ease. Dynamic lighting, modern furniture, dark wood, leather, the piano in the lounge and the stream running through the back of the property, the perfect fireplace in the room, the little phone booth thatā€™s turned into a snack room, the determination of the staff to provide, the entire aesthetic doesnā€™t put you in the mood to relax, it demands it. The common space is luxurious, the jets in the rooms and the spa cap it.
