This trail is a great mixture of natural trail and wheelchair/stroller accessible. The trail is set up in a loop. Half of it is either paved or an old railroad siding that has had pea gravel put between the rails and levelled. The other half is levelled grass, or natural trail with roots. There are sections of this portion of the trail can be muddy. So come prepared to get dirty if it rained the night prior. The natural portion of the trail follows the bank of the Susquahanna. Many different types of birds make their home here. I've seen cranes, ospreys, hawks, and bald eagles, to name a few. This is one of our favorite places to go in Havre de Grace! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful park to walk through. Felt rejuvenated body and soul after the trail near the waters edge.

This easy loop trail is just over a mile and a quarter in length. The trail has great views of the Susquehanna River. There is a small pond with lots of turtles. The trail is great for bird watching. Leashed dogs are allowed on trail.

Took a nice walk one mile down this trail looking for geocaches. Found one almost a mile down the trail and a couple of others on the way back. Encountered a real large puddle on the way there. Do yourself a favor and mark your parking spot on your GPS before you start out so you can go back to the same spot you left from and hopefully the same way.

You can view the river from the trail which connects to the Lock House and go right to the edge of the river on a small beach. And you can see various birds and animals including this large beaver I walked up on doing his thing.

Beautiful park with a ton of flowers. Great area for a solitary hike or a walk with kids.
