We find the staff friendly, the exhibits interesting and, at least when we visited it, they had a exhibit on Captain John Smith. When scouting out the rivers Havre De Grace happened to be the most northern point of his exploration. A LOT of history in such a small town!

This is one of the best community-based museums I have ever visited. I went for the new exhibit on the Underground Railroad and found the text, graphics and art to be exceptional. The information on the indigenous people of the region is balanced, comprehensive, and very informative. Very helpful staff added to the wonderful experience.

A small but informative museum. There is the small museum charm, but objects are presented well with a good amount of context. I visited prior to covid, so obviously there may be changes but when I did attend there were great interactives that would be great for children including a felt board that might be good for kids who like sensory stuff. This museum won't take very long to visit, but it's a sweet trip that would be a wonderful addition to a day in havre de grace

Lots of information to be had. Staff is helpful. Many detailed models of period boats as well as actual items used by mariners over the years. Museum is well laid out and easy to wander through. Gift shop has something for all ages. Well worth the visit

We enjoyed the museum. It has parking close by. Bathrooms are across the street. It cost $10 to visit. A small gift shop. You can have group tours. They have a elevator to use. It takes about 1-2 to go thru the museum.

Loved all the artifacts and the the compass display was awesome as was the speed boat. Only issue was that the sign said $9 per family. We did have a big family but we ended up paying for three families as there is a 2 adult max per family. The Mark 2 looks cool.

$4.00 per adults and $9.00 per family. But in my opinion it is all for a good cause.

A nice little museum that helps you see the history of their waterfront. Enjoyed our visit and it helps to see before walking the Havre de Grace park.

Very friendly staff, and the volunteers in the shop working on restoring old boats of various purposes were very informative.

Loved this little museum and the lovely volunteers who were there today. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming to the community and the men working in the boat shop were so informative and interesting.

My family happened to be in the area, and we took some time to visit this wonderful little museum. Entry is a donation of $5 or $10 for the entire family. The museum isn't large, but the exhibits are well researched. It also has an on-site workshop for boat builders. It was fascinating to see boat-wrighting on display. There's an area dedicated to displaying local art, and a room dedicated to teaching conservation. The gift shop also had very reasonable prices, and the volunteer was very helpful. It's not something you'd drive an hour to go to, but it's worth the visit if you're in the area.

This is a small museum but a lot of information is given about everything boat and water related. Great place for children! Variety of antiques! Loved the family visit after checking out the lighthouse across the street.

Very nice museum featuring local industries and boating. Make sure you visit the boat shop on the ground floor.

An excellent museum for understanding the bay culture and how important the rivers were to earlier generations that lived here. The museum also has a nice exhibit on the indigenous population prior to European settlement in Havre de Grace. Also, the gift shop has a good selection of bay-themed gifts.

Excellent museum. I spent almost two hours there and could have been there longer. When you leave you can walk over to the promenade that runs along the Chesapeake Bay. Very nice walk
