Great little park right on the water. Can go up in the lighthouse. Boardwalk along the water, no dogs allowed, but a nice place to go when walking around havre de grace.

Beautiful park at the mouth of the Susquehanna River where it meets the Chesapeake Bay. The lighthouse is pretty and the “Big Fish School of Fish” sculpture is so fun! The veterans memorial is beautiful and touching, as well. The dock juts out into the water and the piers are topped with hand carved “Birds of the Chesapeake”. It’s not a huge park, but it’s well maintained and has amazing views. There’s free parking in the street adjacent to the park, and they have a custom bike rack, as well, if you ride and need to place to lock your bike while enjoying the park. It’s very flat with brick pathways, so persons with disabilities would be able to enjoy the park, as well. It connects to the Promenade, which is a wood walkway that traverses the water’s edge from the park past two museums to the marina.

Beautiful little park. I've been bringing my kids here for years, and they always cheer when I say we're going here. It's their favorite park in the area. Features 3 different play sets geared mostly towards elementary school kids. Several picnic tables surround the park with grills for cooking.

Great place for relaxing and walking right by the bay. There are benches to sit on and if you want to dip your toes in the water you can sit on rocks along the water though I'm not sure if swimming is allowed. Fishing pier with benches. There is a water fountain with a special feature for filling water bottles and also for pets.

Excellent park. Cool lighthouse, lots of war history information, very cool wood sculptures all along the pier, and it connects to the promenade for some extended bayside walking. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

So much to do1st visit 6/21/21 took grandchildren to Havre De Grace Decoy Museum the girls loved it and was very excited. We did a ride around to explore and found other museums, kids park fishing w/o license, place to get food, I can go on and on but it's a beautiful place today took girls to the high playground after 31/2 hrs girls still didn't want to leave. Oh you can bring your own food and have picnic they have tables plenty of shade. As you can gather I'll be visiting alot this summer hope to see you there. Place is family oriented and much to do. Check out on Google maps and the area and you'll be impressed. 0 - 10 it gets 10 from me. So visit and have a good time!!!

Love this park, even on a warm evening the cool air blows in off the bay. Also like getting my steps in down on the boardwalk.

Great lighthouse and keeper's house. The history is compelling. Standing on the shore where the Susquehanna meets the Chesapeake is amazing. Lots of open space and many benches to stop and enjoy the view.

I love this park. A beautiful, well maintained park, with beautiful views. My family and I walk this park a few times a week. Their are great river views, and lots of wildlife to see. Couple that with all the history of the area and it makes for the perfect place to hang out.

Nice park along the waterfront. Great place to take a walk and chill. It proceeded a nice place for families to gather. It's got recreation, nature, history and scenic views. There's a restaurant and public restrooms available. The park is a bit small to make a full day of it, but it's easy to spend a few hours here.

It's a beautiful sight to be seen, I always enjoy it greatly when I get the opportunity to walk this beautiful boardwalk and view the constantly rising and receding water. With so much history in this gorgeous small little town, the lighthouse is but one of many, many glorious sights to be seen. Research the graw, and you will find the not so long ago racetrack, that used to be the most notible parts of havre de grace. Take time out to research you city.

Just go...Havre De Grace ( French for Harbor of Grace) has history and modern touches. You can walk the promenade (no pets) down to the the tidal basin. There's a sandwich shop there. Great food and ice cream. A very nice playground on the hill above. Great time for adults and children. Just go.

Great for a family fun day. Start with a coffee at the local barista, followed with a few sweets from local bakers. Go to the playground by the water for the kids to get worn out. Get yourself a nice open air lunch next to the marina. A walk along the promenade and then ice cream before you go home.

This is a wonderful place to walk and has recently been enhanced by the city. The wooden Prominade gives you the opportunity to be close to nature. Birds, turtles, etc can be seen close up...numerous benches to sit and ponder...and enjoy...

Love the views on the boardwalk. So cool to occasionally see bald eagles. Has been clean and not too crowded in evenings if there aren't any events going on. Nice place to jog too. Sculptures on the pier are cool too.

👍👍 This trail is a great mixture of natural trail and wheelchair/stroller accessible. The trail is set up in a loop. Half of it is either paved or an old railroad siding that has had pea gravel put between the rails and levelled. The other half is levelled grass, or natural trail with roots. There are...
