Hawaiian Rehabilitation Services should be your first choice for rehabilitation. I had small rotator cuff tear and was referred to HRS. My first appointment was an evaluation which included measurements of movement, explanation of my injuries and how “We” would work together in my rehabilitation with the different exercises and how to properly perform them without more damage to my injury. Jesus explained movement therapy and the best ways to utilize it in my recovery. When I’m in their gym, I watch other therapists interact with their patients and am impressed by the care and attention they provide. The professionalism and knowledge from everyone has been exemplary allowing everyone to work together harmoniously. I would highly recommend Hawaiian Rehabilitation Services to anyone that needs physical therapy services.

Staff is very professional and answers all questions regarding Insurances, exercises and explains everything thoroughly. They are easy to schedule with and are very understanding about your schedule and what your needs are. The therapist here are wonderful and helped me on my road to recovery. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

In January 2022 I had a very bad skiing accident in Vermont - tibial plateau fracture schatzker scale 6. It is the highest athletic injury that had to be treated with open reduction surgery with internal fixation - two plates and 11 screws. I thought I will not be able to walk. My friend offered to come to Hawaii to rest and relax. I start looking for physical therapy in Kona and found Hawaiian Rehabilitation Services. I knew I need a therapist with big knowledge and experience in athletic injuries. When I saw Jesus Almanza work experience on the website I knew I am going to Hawaii (I live in Virginia) for physical therapy with him. It was an amazing but very painful experience. He dedicated himself 150 %. Believe me I had a lot of PT but nothing like him. He was very knowledgable with my injury. 40-45 min painful deep tissue manual therapy and 15 min exercises. In one month he made me walk (I came in a wheel chair and crutches). He said I will be able to ski again if I am mentally prepare myself. I give him personally and Hawaiian Rehabilitation Services in Kona 10 ⭐️. I am planning to come back for another month because it worth it.
