Lunch prices are pretty unbelievably low for such high quality sushi and service. The staff were friendly, available, and helpful, and indulgent of the 6 month old in our party. The restaurant was clean and safe, and the food was very tasty. The fish was high quality and the rolls were made to order in front of us. I highly recommend Sakura!

Underrated gem! Excellent food, menu options, prices, and service. They even cook their beef teriyaki to the perfect temp you ask for (i got medium rare). Also, plenty of parking. No long lines. This place is 10/10. Avoid the tourist traps and come here. Trust me.

This place has some really good sushi. We ordered a few rolls, the edamame, and furikake chicken. Everything was delicious. This place has the best furikake chicken around. The sushi is really good. I recommend coming here if you are feeling like some sushi!

Although busy, nearly a full house, we were seated within 4 minutes. Our waitress was apologetic for being pulled to her other tables, but was amazingly efficient, and got our drinks and food to us as soon as it was ready. The food itself was soooo good! The sushi definitely is fresh, flavorful and well made. Between us we could not eat all of what we ordered. But I was able to recrisp the tempura and added it to our breakfast plates... again, delicious! Attentive, friendly staff who want the meals they serve to meet the customer's needs. Will definitely recommend to others, and return myself!

Food was decent, but overpriced for the amount you get. I got the lava flow roll, and they only gave 6 pieces for $16 dollars. I'd recommend ordering more a bit more if you're hungry

The food here was very very good but the service was a bit slow and it took awhile to get our order in, our food brought and get our bill. It was also difficult to get our server’s attention. We saw locals coming in to eat so that’s how you can often tell how good the food was going to be. We had agedashi tofu, California rolls, gyoza and deluxe sashimi, all of which was delicious. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because of slow service.

First dinner on the island, the restaurant stays open a bit more than many others that were closed when we landed. The sushi was very good and the service quick and flawless

We ordered the Sakura boat and furikake chicken. I’d get the chicken again but the sushi wasn’t our favorite. Quality wasn’t bad for the price. A bit too much rice for my taste on the nigiri. Nice presentation and they let us swap the roll, which was appreciated. To be fair, we showed up near closing time.

My husband and I came here for dinner around 6:30pm. It was busy but we were seated right away. I ordered the avocado salad to start and chicken teriyaki for my main meal. They brought out the salad first but the main dish shortly after, if that’s going to bother you I suggest ordering apps first and waiting to order the main meal. It worked out for me because the dish came out sizzling so by the time I finished my food it was an appropriate temperature to eat. Salad was huge and tasty, love their house dressing. The chicken teriyaki was melt in your mouth delicious- cooked perfectly. We didn’t order any sushi but the table across from us did and it looked great. Staff was friendly. Large parking lot so you don’t have to worry about parking.

Good food, sometimes service can be iffy/forgetful in non busy times :/. -The Kona Boat is excellent, very fresh & delicious, filling enough for 3! -Bento with tempura shrimp & vegetables + Tonkatsu is excellent. -Uni tasted good but looked not so fresh. -Amaebi was very good and fresh. -For tempura hopefully they change their oil often so the tempura or katsus aren't a shade darker than they're supposed to be. -Tempura Udon, the tempura is good, the Udon is just ok, pre-cooked noodles=not the best. -10 piece Sashimi Lunch was very good, very fresh and presentation was pretty! But we had to order separate bowl of rice as this doesn't come with rice or sushi rice. We still go often since food is good.

This is my third visit in about a year and every visit proves to be the same… same great service and observation. Same great atmosphere. Same GREAT food I went on a Sunday early afternoon and did not have much of a wait even though they said it could be a 10-20 minute wait. It was maybe 5 minutes 😉 The waiter was very polite and pleasant. I had the nato roll, avocado roll, asparagus roll, and Tofu Teriyaki. It was ALL DELICIOUS. This is one of the places I treasure here on our little island & I reserve it as a place I go when I want to treat myself… not because it’s expensive, because it’s not, but because it’s that kind of special for me.

Good value for lunch. My wife got the sushi and roll lunch and I got a katsu bento box. Both came with miso soup. The soup was too salty for my taste, but my wife liked it. She enjoyed her sushi and I liked the katsu. I could see coming here again.

Sushi grade is just top of the line. I have enjoyed the Kona Boat that we ordered. The different sashimi in it is very flavorful. We keep coming back here because the food is great and we got taken care of by our server. If they have bigger space to accommodate more people this would be a great place to celebrate events because the food is a hit.

Clean and dim mood lighting. Great place to take dates to. The menu clearly displayed nicely with pictures. Quick service. I ordered Appetizers deep fried tofu, Ahi poke and Miso clam soup. Flavorful and good. They only accept major credit cards or debit ie Visa, or Mastercard. But cash is accepted too.

My favorite appetizer is the Age Tofu (deep fried) w bonito (fish) flakes.. 6$ The Sushi is also yummy! You can order rolls. The sashimi is fresh! You can get an appetizer or order a sashimi deluxe. If you both like sashimi this is a great choice. If you want a bento... Tempura bento is my favorite. 🥣🍙🍘🍱 Bento Shrimp Vegetable tempura/ Sashimi / Sushi 19.95 . Or if you are adventurous. You can order a Sushi/Sashimi Boat! They are awesome and filling!!! Take into consideration your table count. 🍶🍜 Lots of sake choices!

Great sushi and service at Sakura. Although they don't take reservations, we were seated right away. Loved the valentine roll and all of the sushi was super fresh.

My son was wanting sushi for dinner. Nearly all the ones we found were closed. We found one that was open but if you didn't have a reservation it would be 2.t hours for next availablilty. We found this one and had a pretty good rating. We were glad that they were open. We ordered the Sakura sushi roll and the Unagi Don and Tuna roll. We got miso soup as an appetizer. The presentation for the rolls were ok. The Sakura roll actually came on a large round platter too big for the roll. The Unagi Don was in a square bowl with an umbrella. The taste was 3-4. Not the best Unagi I have had but passed. Our server was very professional and attentive. All the servers were polite. I would recommend this place. They had a great menu and choices. The is located in a complex away from the touristy Alii street. There is free parking along with other businesses. It is located close to the Walmart.
