The exhibits cover different eras from late 1800s to mid/late 1900s. Many of the displays brought back memories of my grandparents lifestyle. I enjoyed the Village and recommend it to any nostalgically minded person.

It was an amazing experience and so much to look at. Thank you Marsha for walking us through the museum's and allowing us the time to ask questions. We will be returning very soon.

It an amazingly historical journey. That starts off with one of IAs only last remaining stage coach depots. Built in 1856. It is complete with the orgional port holes upstairs to look out for indians. Then they have a jail, a laywers office, general store, Doctors office, Church and much, much more with new additions being added all the time. Well worth a road trip! One of the best and largest historical Villages in Iowa!

I love living where I can just drive down avenue E and see how my hometown started out. So much history.
