I had the pleasure of staying at Heron Hotel Hawassa twice within a span of ten days, and both experiences were truly memorable. My first stay was so impressive that I couldn't resist coming back again. The service was so nice and would be better if they provide airport shuttle service. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is spotless, well-maintained, and offers some of the most breathtaking views I've seen and its near to fiker lake. The atmosphere was incredibly serene, perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. Whether you're traveling for work or leisure at Hawassa, Heron Hotel provides a peaceful escape with top-notch service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It's a hidden gem worth discovering more than once! 🙏🏽

I stayed for 8 day in Heron. Loved the hotel vibe( including the welcoming customer service). It was clean, great and safe location, and great people. Had a great experience overall. A must to stay if you’re visiting Hawassa!

We spent one week at Heron international hotel, for the second time this year, and we were highly satisfied...The hotel has a very good location close to the lake, surrounded by green area, close to a big parc and the fish market, the staff is very friendly and caring for you, the food is excellent and the rooms are big enough, with a small terrace, very clean and everything was working perfectly.There is a lift and a nice terrace on the roof, and also a large terrace, like a small garden on the ground floor where we habe been eating every day. .The atmosphere is friendly and family like, we enjoyed it and will for sure do it again ! Thanks a lot to Heron staff....

The hotel's location is good. Despite this, we have experienced a bad customers service that I have experienced ever. The hotel staffs (specifically the reception staffs) are not welcoming and lacks professionalism. In addition, the AC in the room is not functional. I don't advice this place for tourists/gusts.
