What a pleasant place to spend a Sunday afternoon, enjoying the autumn sunshine and a lovely selection of wines. Cool fit out and friendly service, a hidden gem in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD

I dig it a lot! Super friendly place to hang out. Delicious but also exciting and bespoke drink selections in a modest setting. Options for dine in and or take away.

There's a lot to love about this place - the wine selection, vibe, decor - but we left feeling let down by the impersonal service and stung by the unexpectedly exxy bill. At a wine bar, of all places, I want to talk/learn about the wine I'm drinking, the winemaker/label and the region... not just be informed that they have x, y, z varietal available by the glass without even seeing the bottle (let alone the $). I've been elsewhere where they bring all the open bottles to the table and talk through each to allow you to connect with the staff and make an informed decision... maybe LOC could do the same.

LOC Bottle Bar have some really interesting wines. There is no wine list, which I guess makes it easier for them to keep their range constantly updated. Staff are happy to walk you through their selection and help you choose something to drink. I generally try something completely different here every time.

Very interesting venue! We gave a rough budget, flavour profiles we enjoyed and were recommended some fantastic wines. Will be back for sure!

Really odd experience. We came in after lunch for a glass of wine but were told by the girl working there that they “only do coffee”. When we asked her about the bar sign and bottles of wine everywhere she conceded she could “probably do something” and sent us to another girl to help. We then had to wait around while the second girl finished her conversation behind the bar (no acknowledgement of customers). When she finally did acknowledge us, she was hugely perfunctory and not at all helpful with selecting a wine. We weren’t told the price of what we were drinking or offered a tasting, just very quickly had our glasses filled with something from SA. The whole atmosphere was really unwelcoming and generally just gave the impression we were in the way. Really not what I was expecting.

A friendly and relaxed place for coffee in the morning, before the focus shifts to wine later in the day. Serving Coffee in Common roasts at present, including a batch filter, so you know there has been thought and care put into the coffee offering, not a mere afterthought. UPDATE: seems like they are no longer opening for coffee :(.

Excellent. Relaxed personable service, lovely terrace area to sit outside in the shade. The food was excellent especially the rainbow trout which was a delight. We had a great Sicilian grecanico, bright and fresh and worked perfectly with our dishes. All great value too. Will be back soon 👍

Oh, this place is a delight! Fantastic rotating selection of natural (mostly local) wines by the glass (not to mention the by-the-bottle offerings), super friendly folks, great vibe

long may Olivia keep this place abuzz. we loved the 'pop-up' chef's vibes on the night and enjoyed sharing a few gastronomic risks spontaneously with a glass of not over-curated wine.
