My Mate was talking about how good the schnittys are. Well I got a pack today and mate! The food was awesome. And the Mushroom sauce was the most creamy and nicest tasting sauce I have had in a long time. My wife got the parmy sauce. She said it was delish. Good to see another Local give it a go. Cheers.

We have finally found the best fish and chips in Victor Harbor. Absolutely well done Rumbelows and we’ll be back for more very soon.

Excellent quality, reasonably quick service, staff bright and cheerful, most reasonably priced! Food fresh cooked to perfection! Ordered butter fish and chips and salt n pepper squid ! Lovely hot and fresh ! Can highly recommend ! Another hidden treasure of Victor Harbor and great selection on the menu ! Locals supporting locals ! Will be my first choice every time ! Well done ! Highly recommend !

Seriously great take away. Wife says they're the best chips she's had in ages. Friendly service too. My one complaint is it's strictly takeaway, I'd love it if you could eat in.

Just had the BEST fish and chips in Victor Harbor. The price was fantastic, the quality was excellent and it reminded us of the fish and chips we used to have when we were children visiting Victor Harbor. Ella, the lovely girl who served us, was friendly and had confidence that we would enjoy our food. We’ll certainly be back and spreading the good word.

$8 for a serve of fish and chips? Say less. It was so tasty. $13 Snitty pack with plan gravy? YUM!!! Can’t recommend this place enough!!! My only thing is that I wish they were open later so I can get dinner after work if need be. But, either way. Scrumptious food at scrumptious prices

Company seen the photos of the sandwich and their reply was "My grill cook needs to lift his game massively and i will be talking to him" They offered me a refund but informed me that they will only give a refund if i change my review!! I legit only went to this take away shop given the reviews were the highest in town. Dont get sucked in like i did. They bribe their customers with refunds for reviews. I declined the refund, solely to keep my review. Money to me is nothing, but to someone who isnt as fortunate, a take away meal is a luxury. If thats the case, spend your $ elsewhere! The steak sandwich was soggy, the steak was all broken up and after asking for bbq sauce was given tomato sauce. The fish was thinner then a flat chip & it was 90% batter. (Gummy shark) Potato cakes were over cooked. The hot dog bread was soggy but the hot dog itself was nice. The banana fritter & mars bar were nice. They also forgot my salad that came with my Fishermens basket. We went here as it had good reviews, but unfortunately we did not experience good food at all. With the $87.50 i was charged, i think maccas would have been nicer and i cant stand maccas. :)

Wow! Competitors in and around Victor really need to take note. If these guys can do $8 fish and chips with a large, filling serve of chips and a large piece of soft, buttery fish... it makes you wonder if the others who have charged $10-12 just for min chips are pulling our legs. I only just managed to finish all mine! We will be back.

Absolutely Fantastic,I was recommended about this place having Really nice Fish & Chips and they weren’t wrong fish was thick and the chips were crunchy and good value.I would recommend it to everyone else, please give it a try!

Great place,very clean and tidy,it has a calming atmosphere as it has been newly renovated,there are plenty of tables and chairs if you prefer to dine in.Great menu choice,burgers,steak sangas,fish burgers and of course fish & chips.The prices are good and are on par with most fish & chip shops in the area.The staff are very friendly and the service is fast.They have a large outdoor seating capacity for when the weather warms up.Toilets are available and very clean.Plenty of parking around the shop.The food is lovely and hot,with very crisp thin batter.The shop also does gluten free batters if you require.Drinks hot and cold are available.There are credit card facilities.If you are looking for that fresh ocean taste of fish & chips,head on over to Rumbelows you will enjoy the feast.

Best fish & chips for a very long time, anywhere. Great to see a young person take on the old caf, still retaining it's name (Rumbelows being such a well known family in the local fishing industry, going back several generations.

Great food, front of house are still getting used to their role, but being young I am sure they will grow into it and only get better. Best chicken snitty in victor harbor.

Extremely pleased, service was swift professional and good natured. The store was clean and well maintained. Price was more then fair with large servings, food was "french kiss" great (chips nuggets and a fishermans basket). Wish the store had a slight adjustment to the opening/closing times. Worried I'll have to buy bigger sizes clothes now I've found my family's favourite easy night dinner destination. 10/10 recommend to anyone.

A fairly new schnitzel, fish & chip shop. Run by a lovely young couple. Food & services great. Highly recommended.

Worst fish ever, wafer thin maybe 3mm thick and cooked in cold and or dirty grease, it was dripping grease. Also had potatoe cakes which were inedible due to amount of grease. Funnily enough the chips were okay, probabably cooked in different vat. Never again
