I don't have much experience at all with karaoke, this place was ok. $10 per person per hour, gets you a nice sized room, which nearly drowns out all the surrounding rooms. Drinks are normal prices and it's a fairly good range. Staff were nice. You can pick any song, you just gotta connect your phone with the system and you're good to go

We used to be regular customers. The price is affordable but the customer service is so terrible. The microphone voice is so low that we could barely hear anything. When we asked to turn the voice up, they slapped the door and show us a very bad attitude. After he adjust the voice, it did go up a little bit but it still doesn't loud enough for us to have a good experience here.

Rooms may not be extravagant but honestly it's my most favoured karaoke bar. Other bars being what appears "top class", have a very limited song book choice and poor quality karaoke, Rush Karaoke literally has Bluetooth and you can stream your karaoke with YouTube which is so awesome and it's so much fun. Also means you don't have to flip through pages trying to find one song, love this place and the staff are so sweet, especially the owner who is a lovely man. Never had a bad experience here.

It was a completely unpleasant experience. The owner was so rude to us when we asked to increase the volume, because we can barely hear our voice through the mic. We’ve been here a few times and other staff were very friendly and helpful. But this time makes me feel like I have to pay for a pricey karaoke and get yelled at for no reason.

It was $10 per person for an hour and doesn't have a set song book with set songs. Instead you connect your phone to the tv. The lights are good, theres enough space and covers for the mics. Theres cameras in the room and a small fan as well (for the bigger rooms) overall it was pretty good

The place from outside looks a bit shabby and at first didn't want to go there but went in my friends. The place is alright The rooms are pretty decent and the best part is you can play your own songs. Everyone loved it and enjoyed it as well.

I have been to this place many times. I sing primarily in Japanese (occasionally Korean) so I use the different part of the store that doesn't use YouTube. I am used to using the book based Korean karaoke machines and they have a good selection, can find most of the songs I want to sing (some newer ones too). Service has always been lovely. Only gripe I have is the price, I often sing on my own and I still have to pay $40 for two hours. I miss karaoke kan in Japan lol

It was very clear from the moment we walked in that weren't welcome, we were told to wait 20 minutes for a room and bought a drink whilst we waited, then we were told to wait out in a waiting area away from the members of staff. One of the workers (muscle) told us to leave, we had no idea why we waited patiently with our drink, so we asked for a refund and left, before we left we were asked to leave our glasses even though we wanted to finish the drinks we had paid for. Really rubbish service, we felt like it was a bit racist to us being Australian, and weren't welcomed from the start. Avoid this place at all costs it was extremely uncomfortable.

Was really fun, great time with friends wish you could turn down the music because depending on what you play it is going to be loud

The karaoke machines didn't work and it was very cramped. The staff were not very helpful and expensive for what it is. Plus they even tried to make us pay more when a friend came by to say hi to some of the group members for a farewell.

I went in on NYE but it was disappointing. They told us it was 20 min wait but it ended up being a 40 min wait. A group that came in after us got to go in first and I think it was due to poor organisation. They also cut our time short because it wasn't a full 1hr.

I've been here twice and plan on going again, so much fun having drinks with the mates while doing karaoke

My friends and I came tonight to Rush Karaoke. Long wait to finally be able to book a two hours session. Two random guys broke into our room whilst we singing, then the owner came in soon after to say don’t let strangers in as they can steal things (?!) so it’s not his concern that a group of guys broke into a room of girls without anyone knowing or even our security. Not to mention the worst part, they pushed us out of our original room because someone else booked the room after our first hour. When we argued and said we paid for two and showed receipt and the time of purchase they then pushed us into a different room with poor quality microphones. When we asked to get them fixed they just came in and pretend to change the volume. When nothing resolved and we asked again they changed only one microphone but still poor quality. I honestly would give this place a zero if I could. Not recommend this place to anyone.

Do you love music but music doesn't love you? Do you transform the bathroom into a concert stage because the acoustic is so good and makes your voice sound better? Sing at Rush Karaoke. Good sound quality and friendly staff. Just wish the TV is connected to a wifi so no need to cast from the phone.

It's not expensive compare with other karaoke but the customer service was terrible...

Place is a bit dingy but the young dude behind the bar was really friendly and accommodating. Took some clients with disability here (not physical, stairs would make that difficult) and they had an absolute blast

It's an okay place for the price 10/person/hour. The internet connection was quite unstable and the owner had to reset the wifi modem quite a few times for all the rooms. But well he gave us 15 min extra at the end as compensation so it was aight.

Walked in. Received rude racist service by bartender/ attendant. Didn’t ask us if we had a booking. Just looked us up n down n said sorry we only take bookings. Obviously not keen on business from Aussies. Rooms weren’t being used when I looked down hallway several doors were open. Worst as.

So-so. Pretty pricey for karaoke. The machines are just hooked up to google cast and you have to find Karaoke versions yourself on 1 smartphone. Flexible, but annoying to browse. Unskippable ads play even if you have a Youtube premium subscription. Mic reverb is set to 11.

They just connected us to YouTube and said have at it! But annoying with all the ads and everything... Had fun anyway.

OMF THIS WAS SO GREAT. was so clean and was easy to connect the phone up with youtube. staff was really helpful and communicative about prices. it was $10/h and was so much fun! will definitely come again!

Bad experience, the light was making weird noise. Reported to the owner, owner asked us to switch it off and ignore it. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go and pay expensive price for what you get.

Great place for a karaoke. Went with family and kids on a weekend during the day. Friendly owners. Pretty decent selection of English and Japanese songs.

Sad to say I was extremely disappointed with my most recent experience here. I’ve been once before and had an amazing time. Recently, I had decided to take a friend, expecting the same standard of customer service. Yet, to my surprise, this was not the case. I came out of the room early on as I was having trouble connecting to the TV and was immediately met by aggravation from whom I presume to be the owner. I stood alone trying to fix the problem myself while the owner yelled at me and hit the counter, and the other worker behind the bar was on his phone. I want to give the owner the benefit of the doubt, seeing my first experience with him was flawless, and suggest he was already frustrated with prior customers. However, it was very early on in the night and I can’t imagine that many drunken club go-ers could have stumbled in and given him a hard time before I had arrived. The price is fairly cheap compared to other places in Adelaide, and the rooms are always clean with systems that work well - so despite my experience I will probably be back. Although, I am still extremely disappointed by the shockingly bad customer service and could see why this would prevent someone from wanting to return. Fortunately, I’m a emotionally strong individual and was able to handle being yelled at as a young girl by a fully grown man. Yet, I can see how this situation would have left many others of my age petrified.

Amazing service and great atmosphere, come in every few months with some mates and have a blast every time

went to rush karoke with a group of girls, we were running late and the owners were super understandable and kept our room for us. we got there and the owners were so nice showed us how to connect everything so we could sing to our favourite songs. definitely going back again
