An staple for vegans and vegetarians of Adelaide. The onion rings are absolutely compulsory for every visit, and make sure to try the house-made sodas! The bandito burger is my favourite, and the vegan chicken fingers are great. The main downside is the service, which almost always takes more than 20 minutes to come to the table. It's been a consistent problem for the last few years. However, if you have no trains to catch, deadlines or any places to be, give it a go!

Beautiful cafe with high ceilings at the end of the upper floor in the historic arcade. Opens 11.30am. American style food, good lentil hotpot topped with tasty mashed sweet potato, note temperature was very hot!

Popped in for lunch with a friend and managed to snag one of the tables on the balcony overlooking the mall. If its a nice day, remember to bring a hat or load up on sunblock as there is no shade, but the view and people watching is well worth it. We both decided to order vegan "chicken" burgers, I went for the Jailbird while he had the Arkan-sauce and we shared a serving of the Buffalo fries. If you are in doubt, have the fries! The sauce is deliciously smokey, has a warmth to it but not spicy like chilli and is finger licking good. My friend was very happy with his burger and mine was yummy too, its nice to find delicious vegan food that satisfies that junky fried food craving. Drinks wise he opted for a cherry ripe thickshake, I had a housemade passionfruit soda and a peach sour beer. Quick heads up, none of the drinks came with straws which while great for reducing plastic waste, did make having the thickshake difficult (it was super full and had a scoop of vegan ice cream). You're still able to enjoy the drink, but it does start a bit messy. I'd suggest bringing your own reusable straw. If you were thinking of visiting I'd book if you going to come on either of the two nights they do pub food, but for lunch during the day you can just walk in off the street. Can't wait to come back and try more

Delicious food! My friend and I ordered 'The jailbird' and the 'Chilli Cheese Fries', along with a lime and choc milkshake. It was served promptly and the view from the balcony was wonderful, so peaceful and pretty. I would recommend this food to all, you couldn't tell there was no meat!!!

A friend suggested we go here for lunch, was not aware it was a vego restaurant. Pleasantly surprised, ordered the cajun salad and it was delicious. The fried chicken was really tasty, once you got over the texture of it, kind of bread like. Tried the soda too, was nice and they had a variety of different flavours that you wouldn’t normally get from a softy. Service was friendly and food came out nice and fast

Located on the top floor of Adelaide Arcade, part of Rundle Mall , it’s bit hard to find the entry through the hidden staircases leading up. I used to love this place , it was always my first choice for lunch and dinner as one of the few fully vegan restaurants in the city. Something must have changed in the kitchen , most likely chef, as the quality of food isn’t as good as it used to be. There are still plenty of vegan options just not the same as it used to be. Burgers are all about buns, and those are just terrible. White bread (yak) small, tasteless , no GF options. Sorry are you trying to save money on cheap bread? Don’t ! It ruins the taste of otherwise what is delicious choice of vegan burgers you make. Fries were cold and tasteless as well. On positive side good selection of drinks , beers and home made sodas. Service was also fantastic and very accommodating, doing their best to keep everyone happy.

It can be a rare thing for a vegetarian restaurant to remain open for so long, but Two-Bit Villains is a testament to their 10 years of service! Their plant-based chicken was NEXT LEVEL and we adored their mac and cheese balls! Even something as simple as French fries were done amazingly (seriously, some of the best chips I've ever had the pleasure to eat). Thanks for giving two Sydney Vegans such a great experience!

Go up stairs and enjoy everything the arcade has to offer. Two-Bit Villains is one such place, great food, service and love the 1950's furniture! Sat on the balcony and enjoyed views of the Mall. For food, I left the choice up to the staff. And great choice it was too. Go there, and enjoy the atmosphere!

Loved the vibe of this wonderful vegan/vegetarian restaurant in the crowning position of Adelaide Arcade. I loved the nachos and the creamy soda drink was good. The solid 80’s music playlist hit the spot too. Can’t wait to come back!

What a find. Ordered the onion rings and they were amazing. A must have if you are here. We also had the cheeseburger and the Baron burger and both were delicious. Highly recommend dropping in.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, informative, friendly, and there was a huge menu to choose from! There was quite a long wait as they were pretty busy when we went, but the drinks were lovely while we waited. I love that a vegetarian can order without worries here, and all you need to do is ask for your order to be vegan, and they'll take care of the rest! I can't say I recommend the chicken burger, it doesn't have a lot of flavour and the spongy bread-like texture of the patty was very off-putting. The crumbling was nice though. The "mozzarella sticks" were creamy and tasty, but don't bite into them expecting stretchy cheese. They're quite soft. Overall a lovely experience, I'm gonna try something else on the menu next time though!

A great little secret spot over looking Rundle mall. It has a great balcony over looking the mall and is perfect spot for people watching while enjoying some of the real treats in the menu. We tried the sodas 🥤 but next time will be trying the spiders. There are plenty of options on the menu for food also. Great service with a smile.

Nice little hidden gem on the second floor of the Adelaide Arcade. The customer service was good. Food was okay, I found a hair in my fries burger.. which was dissatisfying. The Turkish hot chocolate was good.

Ok be aware this is fully vegan. I did not like it but it was nicely done. The fake chicken is made with basic dough and it is very hard with blend taste. The healthy bowl is good size but the sauce lacks some taste. We did know that was a vegan restaurant and the menu is deceiving because it calls "Chicken" with """ to mean that is not chicken...I didn't understand...not happy but great place overall.

I enjoy this place. Gorgeous interiors. Quite serene with the sunlight coming in from the balcony. The staff are very pleasant (except one today...). I enjoy the changing artworks in the wall too. In terms of food, I am in love with the cream soda. The meals are nice too. Always well presented, just not exciting, to be honest. Could use a boost or a kick in flavour. I'm vegan.

Two of us went up for lunch on a fairly busy Saturday and managed to get a table after waiting a few minutes. Staff were super friendly, one of them took the time to explain which items on the menu they were currently not serving as well as showing us a list of specials. We both got the passionfruit soda which was delicious - not sickeningly sweet, lovely fruit flavour and came in a generous serving. I tried one of the seitan "chicken" burgers, which was ok but nothing special. The aioli was not that flavourful and the texture of the burger was more spongey than that of a true seitan. My friend tried the cheeseburger which looked great and tasted delicious too. We both also tried the fries which were crispy and nicely seasoned. Everything was very reasonably priced too. Atmosphere was lovely, the interior is beautiful and there is balcony seating available. One note is that it took quite some time after ordering for us to get both our drinks and food, which for drinks seemed unusual as we both just ordered soda. Would definitely come back for the range of vegetarian options if nothing else.

Service was friendly and fast. It wasn't particularly busy. Lovely to sit out on the balcony. Falafel buger was delicious, as were the onion rings. Chips weren't hot when they came out, but they still tasted good. Great value with their Wednesday specials. Would definitely come back and try out more of the menu.

The menu looks great and so many cool vegan options, unfortunately the taste didn't hit. I got the ceaser salad which I ended up just picking out the Lettuce pieces of. The mac n cheese was nice, but cold and too much of the spice on top. It was disappointing because it was such a cool place and I was so excited to check it out.

Staff are very friendly, and menu is vegetarian which was a very nice surprise for me! I generally have very limited choice when eating out so having full run of the menu was practically overwhelming. Food is quite affordable, however the burger I ordered doesn't come with chips or salad, likely to keep it so affordable for vegetarian food. Vibes are great. Only real issues are it's up 2 flights of stairs in the arcade (being inaccessable to some), and that I don't live in Adelaide so won't be able to come back for a while. Pics of menu and my meal in progress attached.

Omfg. This restaurant was highly recommended to me and good lord it exceeded all my expectations! I had the cream soda, vegan Caesar with their homemade seitan chicken, and the vegan Chipotle Mac and cheese balls. If you have not tried this place, please do so immediately as you will not be disappointed! Sorry about the blurry photos - I was so excited to eat!

Specialises in home made sodas & Vegetarian/Vegan food. Tummy Tonic Soda was yummy. Bar available. Caesar fries with coconut ‘bacon’, was tasty and filling. Coffee was good. They have board games too - which is a great idea!

Absolutely loved this place! The set up is super cool and there are so many vegan choices !!! We had two burgers, the “beef” and the “fried chicken” and they were both amazing. Another must try is the tater tots! YUM 🤤 Will be back to try something else

Worthy location and setting in this vegetarian or vegan restaurant…. We tried the chick burger with the Nashville hot sauce and was delectable….. Truly an inspirational vege chef in this other wise boring and mundane Australian vege world 🌎 🔑

Wow! We stumbled onto this but what an amazing find. Everything vegetarian with vegan options. And the Americana style dishes are just great. Their drinks range of house made sodas are also worth trying The location elevated above Adelaide Arcade with views over Rundle mall are lovely. And the interior a fun mix of 60’s furniture and older 1890s architecture of Adelaide Arcade Food was fast and service was good.

Been one of my favourite places for many, many years! Food is always amazing, staff are wonderful. Last night I had my Hen's Night dinner on their balcony and it was absolutely beautiful- lovely evening weather, twinkly lights above the mall, just perfection :) Huge thank you to the staff for having us and especially to Emily our waitress for providing excellent service to a bunch of rowdy, drunk gals!

I joined some friends at Two Bit Villains for lunch today and we were all very impressed with the food. As mentioned by others, the Onion Rings are exceptional. The "sticky date" shake was equally as impressive. My burger was good and the service and ambience was was very good. I highly recommend this eatery!

Quite busy when we visited and seemed a little understaffed because we waited a while to be seated. A great extensive menu for vegans and vegetarians. I tried a chicken burger which I’d give a 3/5, I’d like to try their ‘beef’ burger next time.

Perhaps if you're vegan or vegetarian this place is amazing, but as fans of burgers in general, we gave it a shot. The burger just wasn't as good, sorry. The "meat" patty was really crumbly and just fell apart and had a weird aftertaste, which I guess was the soy. The fries and onion rings were awesome though and the nachos quite pretty good, but a bit confusing. They were mostly cold - nachos should be hot and have melted cheese, not cheese straight out the fridge! Overall, not a bad lunch and if you're vegan or veggie you might love it.

Been here multiple times and would recommend it to any vegan or vegetarian who wants to take their non vego friends out. The vegan whiskey sour is delicious and the food options will leave you wanting to try everything.

The best sodas ever that are never too sweet but always full of flavour. My favourite lunch place for burgers and salads. The food and drinks are consistently top quality. Vegan and gluten free friendly.
