Absolutely authentic and amazing food! The quality of the food it's absolutely sublime and everything we have was very tasty. The lamb was fantastic as the calamari, the portions were pretty good as well. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was fantastic right in front of the sea

Lunch at @estiahenleybeach: good location and good service, but the food was only okay. I think the starters were better than the mains. The food is not bad, just not the best Greek food in Adelaide (also according to our Greek friends 😜😜). . Saganaki: always a favourite! This was nicely done. . A combination of 5 dips: excellent, but you can't really go wrong with dips 😜. The bread was good too. . A giant platter of many different items: great option for sharing! The calamari was decent - although some were a bit chewy. The dolmathes were nice. The grilled prawns were excellent, and the chicken and pork were okay, but the lamb was a bit overcooked - they were a bit tough. . Chargrilled eggplant, potato, capsicum, zucchini and fresh herbs, layered and oven baked in tomato: good flavours, nicely done!

An excellent night out for the group of friends or family with great food and vibes. Food was delicious, servings were generous, Seafood was fresh. Our group of 7 was well fed. There was a good variety of drinks and cocktails Service was attentive and quick. Our waiter, Ethan, knew menu well and gave great recommendations. Pricing: $30-40 per head not including drinks What to order: Dips - taramosalata, pita bread (each serve is enough for 3-4 people) Mezedakia - Saganaki pan fried cheese, Tis skaras Oktapodi chargrilled octopus, chargrilled scallops. For meats - chargrilled chicken, chargrilled lamb fillet, traditional pork sausage, keftedes Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would come back again.

We ordered a dip platter with pita bread. We were hungry so we ordered another dip platter. But the price for the dip platter was a bit much, around $21. So 1 platter will be enough if you are ordering more mains as a group. The food was good overall, lamb in the platter was a bit hard. Chicken and octopus that we had in the 2 different platters were the best. The waiter told us they will portion the food according to our numbers, but he didn't tell us and we didn't know there were wedges in both of the seafood and meat platters, so we ordered extra 2 plates of chips. Overall good atmosphere, nice food and friendly service. Had a good experience here except the bill was so high. We spent between $43 - $55 each person.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The appetizer plate was generous and tasty, with a variety of dishes to choose from. We especially liked the calamari, which was well-seasoned, but we wished it was a bit more crunchy. The fish of the day was fresh and cooked perfectly, but the portion size was on the smaller side. We would recommend ordering a side dish or a salad to go with it. For dessert, we enjoyed the kadayif, which was sweet and crispy, and very filling. We were missing the ouzo, but they only sold it by the glass, not by the bottle. Next time, we will opt for the outdoor seating, as the indoor area was quite loud and smoky from the kitchen. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast. The toilets were also clean and well-maintained. we would definitely come back again.

I have never got disappointed at Estia. The atmosphere is great, and I definitely am going to spend more time at the beach while we have summer, great vibes💫 I love the lamb fillet marinated. So tasty. The wine was good and cream kataifi was the proper way to finish our meal. Very delicious. I would say they are the best option in Henley square for food.

We came here during the week for dinner. The place was really busy. No booking is needed in advance. They accept Uber orders as well. Overall the food is really good. But I don’t like their desserts. The drinks are good as well. The atmosphere is good. Friendly staff. No long waiting time for food to be served on your table. I find the prices also reasonable for the portion sizes they offer.

Estia is a must go place for well priced, ample portioned and, most importantly well seasoned Greek cuisine in Henley, Adelaide. Must try are the salt and pepper squid, variety of grilled meat, mousaka and,!!!! loukomedes!!!! Table service is fantastic and you will be well looked after by the friendly staff!

Believe it was the manager however don’t quote me if I’m wrong! Tonight it was my partner and I anniversary and not only was the food lovely but the service of the manager/supervisor was absolutely amazing. He was constantly available and made our time here super comfortable, we didn’t even have to ask for anything because he would be onto it already such as moving us to a bigger table without us even asking and serving us a bottle of cold water. I have been to many restaurants but this one was absolutely on deck and I loved it. See you guys again soon and thank you for making our experience wonderful xx

Best Lamb in Adelaide that’s for sure! Tried Estia because a few Greek friends recommended it. Definitely lives up to its reputation. Lamb was so succulent. Dips & sauces were well-balanced & complimented the meat dishes well. The calamari was cooked perfectly and was paired with chickpea salad which was a great touch to the flavours! Will be back for sure!

The food was delicious but must work on their garlic dip! Loved the choices of seafood options, as it made my family very happy. Our person-in-wait Ferdinand was exemplary - friendly, efficient, and very quick. Compliments to the Chef, each order was personalised as requested. Seating gave us the view of the beach and ocean. Made my 1st trip to Adelaide wonderful. Thank you, Estia.

Great food, albeit a little expensive, but that is expected for the area. Highly suggest ordering the small serves to have some more variety in dishes. We had 6 small dishes between 3 people, and that was satisfying. Service was fantastic, and they were able to accommodate us even though we didn't have a booking. Highly recommend.

Estia has a long standing history in Henley Square, it's one of the OGs. And as far as Greek food goes, it's pretty good - it was excellent in its simplicity. It's easy to understand why Estia has had staying power.

I'm probably just one of those people who don't like Greek food. First time in a greek restaurant, it was very busy but the service was amazing. Very friendly staff and food was quick. The Mousaka was the highlight and pretty good. The dolmades were very sour and the arancini was served with some very dry and hard to eat rice. The dessert had really dry vermicelli which I didn't enjoy. Again, most probably my taste buds are to blame, not the chef, as it was my first time trying Greek cuisine. If you like Greek food, I recommend you try this place.

Friendly and personable staff, great food but we over ordered! Lamb was very tender and recommended. Tim our helpful waiter gratefully parked our left over lamb container in their fridge while we took a jetty walk. Parking even on a sunny Tuesday lunch time wasn’t easy - but worth it.

You have to go here! This place is amazing, the service the food is devine. My husband is currently doing the elimination diet and can’t eat gluten & dairy. Their service was next level and we had so many options. Highly recommend the lamb! Grateful to Nick & Elison for their fabulous service. We have eaten there 2 times in 3 days!

We had lunch here on Tuesday 27th of February with our family who came to visit from interstate. We were a walk in and the staff where extremely accommodating and knowledgeable of the food. They gave excellent suggestions as well as wonderful service. The highlight was the lamb which melted in your mouth. I could not fault one dish! Yes, it's a little dearer than some places but you get more than you pay for and it's definitely worth it. The sauces are house made and you can tell as the quality is amazing. Go out and treat yourself! Wonderful view of the beach front as well. We will definitely be back 😊

Oh my god. A very nice place. I went on a date with my hubby after a while and enjoyed every minute of it in this place. The dolmathes soooo refreshing and delish. The mains also so nice and filling. The portions are no joke! It was one the greatest experiences I had. Such a relaxing environment. Cant wait to go back

Their dips paired with pita bread are just legend, I can simply have two dips and four pitas as a meal. Also, all of their meat dishes are perfectly seasoned and have a tender texture. A beautiful spot to have dinner at twilight beach.

  • 5/5 Todd D. 1 year ago on Google
Yummy, the chargrilled octopus was amazing. It's probably the largest serving I have ever gotten to. The 5 dip sampler with pits was the way to go. They are all really good. The pasticcio was a lighter version of lasagna, which was very tasty and filling.

Food was tasty and staff were friendly. Place is very crowded so if u want to talk it makes it very hard to hear anything from so much noise. I had the Tis Skaras Hirino - skewered and chargrilled pork fillet on couscous with a salad on side and dip. $29.50

Was pleasantly surprised dining here. Had never had Greek food before, but really enjoyed the variety and it was delicious. We were very full when we had finished. I have never been to any restaurant with such fantastic staff. Wow, professional and friendly, they were outstanding. An absolute credit to the business and to themselves. Unfortunately l can't remember the name of our waitress on the night, but we all commented on her excellence and knowledge over everything. I never waited for a drink or anything, she was all over it. Excellent restaurant, exceptional service. Highly recommend.

We visited this place with a previous booking otherwise very difficult to find a place due to amount of people having dinner. We ordered kids meal ($15) however I don't recommend it because they have too much fries and only a few calamari. Definitely better option in my opinion is to order an adult meal (full calamari is $22 I think). Grill chicken very recommended. We would like to come back if we have time enough

Quite salty, bread wasn’t even traditional pita bread, was more like wholemeal bakers delight. Salad was bland. Olives were drowned in some chilli type salsa which seemed strange. Just wasn’t what I was expecting at all for Greek cuisine.

Amazing Greek food and excellent service. I can't find a single fault with Estia. The staff are fantastic and the menu is delicious. I drank the 2 Greek beers they had whilst dining. We had a function of 20 people with a set menu. $55 a head with more than enough food. Will definitely be going back.

Great Greek place down by the sea. Food lovely. Service amazing. I wasn't blown away by the potatoes but loved everything else we had. Prices fabulous value, given the location. Very popular with Greek people 😊

  • 4/5 Alyssa 1 year ago on Google
Food was so so good. Serving sizes were crazy big and prices were pretty reasonable. Service was super attentive and food came out reasonably fast given how busy the restaurant was. Only let down was the menu - it was super confusing to read and indicated you needed sides when it came with stuff on the plates. Overall a great experience

Dined here many of times. One of the nicest Greek restaurants in Adelaide. Make sure you book, it's very popular and books out quickly. Super friendly staff. Great menu. We have always ordered platters to share. Great servings and great value. A must try, it won't disappointment

Some of the best Greek food you will eat in Adelaide We booked a table for two. Friendly welcome and escorted to the table. Cold water was served and our order taken. We shared lamb, calamari, wedges and pita bread A glass of bubbly red and a beer and to finish off Greek coffee. Service was excellent. Just under $90 for the lot Very popular spot. Service was excellent

We were lucky enough to be there to watch the sun go down while eating fresh and delicious food. To top things off when the lovely waiter found out it was my birthday he brought over a free dessert slice 😍 which was to die for ❤ highly recommended this restaurant

Someone has gotten too big for their boots. This had to be the most ugliest food I’ve ever eaten. Dry cold chips, minuscule ‘king’ prawns in tomato water and calamari literally just dipped in flour. Thank god I didn’t bring my extended family. I would’ve been so embarrassed for recommending the ‘award winning’ Estia 🤢

  • 4/5 Aditi R. 2 years ago on Google
During the weekend, we went there for dinner. We were three of us. We thought of ordering more, however, 3 dishes were quite heavy for us. I believe 3 choices for 3 people is good enough and filling. The liver was quite heavy with every bite. I liked the taste but after having it felt it to be too oily which didn’t feel right( one star less due to this). Further , we also ordered a crematia cake which was fantastic-sweet but Not too sweet! Lastly, the staffs were nice, friendly, and helpful.

Absolutely flat out on mother's Day yet they accommodated for my elderly mother in law not to wait standing. Food was served so fast you would think we had pre-ordered. Quality and flavour was not compromised with polite courteous staff. Well done 👍

This is my favourite Greek restaurant to go out to Australia wide. They are so accommodating to my toddler and service is always incredible. Tim has been my server a few times now and each time he has had impeccable service, always has a great joke to make my table laugh and in general creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. I definitely recommend getting a few platters to share, the food will never disappoint. I especially recommend the lamb 🤤
