I just completed PADI Open Water Diver Course with Emma and Emily. Emma was my main instructor. I really enjoyed learning with her as she addresses my concerns throughout the course and gave me suggestions for my upcoming dive. Big thank you to Emma and Diving Adelaide!!

Rescue divers course completed. Thanks Steve for your great teaching and patience with me over the weekend. A challenging yet rewarding course to do, made that much more achievable with your guidance and support. And thanks also to Logan for helping us achieve our skills in what seemed like reasonably rough conditions. Would highly recommend this course and ask for Steve to be your instructor!

These guys are great. Strong focus on safety and fun. Bee, the instructor for my open water course made the whole expiernece relaxing and enjoyable while teaching us all the basics. Steve, excellent teacher who taught my advance class really took the time to sharpen my skills making me a better diver. The shop itself has some friendly people working in there and often there is a competitive price to be found.

Just finished my Open Water Diving Course (Midweek 3 Full-Days) with the one and only Super Steve! I very rarely commit to writing reviews unless something really blows my mind or changes my life and this one really did. More than ticking off a checklist of skills, Steve taught us how to trust ourselves in every adversity (to calm down, breathe and take it one step at a time when problem solving). He made us laugh throughout the course and whenever I felt afraid, would hold my hand, help me calm down let me take my time to do a skill). The level of experience, passion and heart he brings into every session makes you want to give everything your best shot. He made me feel so safe, that even when my anxiety acted up, I still knew that he wasn't going to let anything happen to me. The pool session is a steep mental and physical learning curve for everyone, but push through it because when you finally get to see marine life, all the struggle is absolutely worth it. My biggest highlight was when Steve took us on our Rapid Bay dive, pointed to the left and a hundreds of fishes were majestically swimming. Changed my life. The ocean does reward you when you try to get to know her. As Steve would say before every dive, "See you in Heaven". It truly is heaven on earth "downstairs" Finally just to show how much he cares, he promised that as long as his name is on our diving license, he will be our instructor forever (omg why am I crying writing this) and that the line is always open if we had any questions or needed help. There's an insane amount of work and logistics that go on behind the scenes to make every open water course happen. The instructors have spent years training so that we could have the best time learning how to become ocean explorers. So a huge THANK YOU to Steve, Khushi and the entire Diving Adelaide team. You have opened up a world of adventure for me but more importantly, you taught me at the best way forward (in the ocean and in life) is to relax and breathe. Would literally go to the bottom of the ocean for all of you. Biggest hugs to everyone, Angel "Maria" PS. All of us who were in the batch all met for the first time and signed up as individuals. We became really good buddies so if you are thinking of doing it alone, take the plunge and do it.

I just completed my open water diving course with Steve. It was an amazing experience and I am so glad to have gone through with it. Not having done anything remotely close to diving like this before, it was great to have someone as knowledgeable and patient as Steve. He was fantastic! Really nice guy and good teacher + good humour. I definitely think I got lucky and got placed in with the best group who had the best instructor. Would recommend this to my friends for sure. On our first ocean dive, we were accompanied by Katie. She was really great and took care to make sure we had a good time and overall did a good job. Can't wait for my first dive!! Thanks guys.

My boyfriend and I were diving in Second Valley Jetty with Lily and it was such a great experience. We spotted 3 leafy sea dragons and a huge cuttlefish. The place is beautiful and we enjoyed our time there from the first moment. The way to go there is about 1 h driving and we had so much fun talking with Lily! She's very friendly :) I also want to mention Steve for lending me his mask! You made our day mate 🤣 Best staff ever ❤

Really great experience at Diving Adelaide! Highly highly recommend! Geoff was an absolute gem, was Uber patient and calm with me even though I was a frantic student. He taught all the skills and learnings methodically. What really impressed me was he provided extra gear as needed by individual divers. Also, really empathetic and experienced with handling all kinds of students. Michael assisted really well too, made sure all of us were tended to! Really happy with the experience! Can't wait to dive again 🥰

I noticed the last review and was compelled to jump on so people now that the staff at Diving Adelaide are incredible. It seems a negative review is left by those people who have nothing better to do. Shout out to Chloe and Mia who are both spectacular sales people and scuba instructors/guides. Both girls in particular are very knowledge and do everything to accommodate your requests when diving. Brilliant service 👍🌟🌊

Steve and Mia were the most amazing instructors during my Open Water Diving course. They were incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable! The course itself was straightforward and, with the instructors' guidance, easy to understand. I look forward to continuing diving with them in the near future!

15 years without scuba diving is a long time, good I joined a group of lovely people yesterday for a refresher course lead by Ashley our diving instructor. She is very professional and dedicated and provided us with clear and simple instructions to regain confidence back in the water. Thanks Ashley for the good daving experience.

I would like to highlight the exceptional experience I had with Emma Thwaites, who is undoubtedly one of the best diving instructors in Adelaide. Her remarkable qualities truly set this dive shop apart. Emma's patience and straightforward approach to teaching made my diving experience truly memorable. She not only imparted her knowledge but also instilled a sense of confidence in me as a diver. Her ability to simplify complex concepts and her willingness to address any concerns I had made her an awesome instructor in every sense of the word. Without a doubt, Emma's guidance played a significant role in my diving journey, and I can't thank her enough.

Completed the Open Water Diver course last week with Diving Adelaide and couldn't be more stoked. Course consists of an e-learning component set by PADI, and then a pool skills session, and four Open Water dives. Our course was run by Emma, Todd and Emily. A big shout out to Todd, my direct instructor for being friendly and welcoming, and making me feel completely at ease when in the water. His instructions on land, and very clear communication underwater made completing the required PADI skills easy and methodical. If you are at anyway uneasy with the concept of SCUBA, ask for Todd; he is an exceptional instructor. The course on the first day was great, getting everyone comfortable with the gear, how to put it together, and teaching us to identify any problems. All the skills you'd do in Open Water were practiced here, which makes it very easy when you're deeper. Open water dives were done at Port Noarlunga. Early starts, but perfect conditions. The whole crew made it easy to practice surface and below water skills, and ensured all of us were ok at each step. Each class gets separated into small groups so it's easy to work on skills with your qualified diver. This course has opened up a whole new world and hobby for me. If you are thinking of doing it, definitely give Diving Adelaide a yell. I'm personally looking forward to jumping on one of their guided dives soon.

Just finished up my open water diving course with Emma Thwaites as our instructor and she and the other team members at the centre were absolutely wonderful. Emma was so knowledgable and incredible at explaining everything in detail so clearly and easily, with her as an instructor I think just about anyone of any age or experience level could complete the course easily and enjoy it too! Couldn’t recommend Emma and the team at Diving Adelaide any more highly if you’re considering doing your open water course!

Just completed my open water diving course with Steve, Ellyse and James. Easily the highlight of my week. The course was fun and student orientated. The team dealt with first time nerves perfectly and made myself and those around me feel at ease with good humour and a clear sense that they were passionate and knowledgeable about what they were teaching. Highly recommend doing the experience and the course with these guys. 10/10

Steve was great! Did the open water scuba course with him this winter and despite conditions not being amazing (13 degrees and 5m visibility) he made it quite enjoyable and was quite patient when people were having difficulties. Top bloke and great teacher. Would recommend and also quite affordable

I recently completed my open water course with Steve - he is such a joy and made sure we felt safe and prepared in all aspects of our dive. I had so much fun, Steve is classic - I went home with a sore stomach from laughing. Could not have picked a better place or instructor to complete the course with, we even got to see a leafy sea dragon! 11/10!

I’ve been a frequent customer of Diving Adelaide and have purchased a few gears in the last couple of years. Everyone at the shop is super helpful and welcoming. Their communication over e-mails is also something to commend for, that’s why I never hesitated to go with them for my PADI Open Water Diver Training. I’ve completed the training today and just want to say a big thanks to our amazing instructor - Emily! She’s very patient and thorough in explaining all the skills we need to complete and she also made us safe underwater! Did I say she’s also able to capture our last dive?! For a newly certified OW Diver, this is the best experience ever!

My son and I just completed our Rescue Diver course with the amazing support and training from Steve. It has been an incredible journey to get to this point, and we could not have asked for better leadership and passion for this sport from Steve as our instructor, over the last year as we started SCUBA and now with the last couple of day's training again. I would recommend Diving Adelaide as the Go To place for diving requirements. The product offerings are great and the team who helps during the training is professional, passionate and makes the underwater world awesome to experience !

We did our Open Water course with Diving Adelaide and had a great time!! The staff were amazing and a lot of fun, without allowing this to compromise our learning. Diving Adelaide totally made our dive day. Everyone at the shop was friendly and smiling, which made for a pretty relaxed start. Aaron was our guide for the Leafy Dragon dive and was a total legend! His expertise and familiarity with the diving site were evident and made us feel super comfortable whilst his good spirits made for a very fun dive and a nice drive to the site. Also, big thanks to Emily for being helpful back at the shop and driving one of us up. It's nice when the prep is as easy as the dive. Really happy with how the day turned out. Keen to head back for another dive with these guys soon! Manon & Sally PS: we did see beautiful sea dragons, a tons of fishes and were even gifted with a surprise visit from a dolphin who had a little play around us, what a day!
