What a spot! I’m so glad MotherVine made it to my last night in Adelaide list. My friend and I did the secret wine tasting and failed epically at guessing the wine types, but it was such a cool addition to the already beautiful venue! We shared the cheese/meat platter which was delicious and very fresh, and the waiter took the extra effort to separate the nuts from the board for my friend who couldn’t eat them. The menu was extensive and the staff very all very lovely. Exceeded expectations that’s for sure, what a vibe! I actually wish I got more photos 🙂

Mother Vine was a really nice night out for dinner and drinks. We celebrated my friends birthday there. So you can book big tables if you need. Unfortunately they didnt have some of the wines we wanted and they ran out of potatoes. BUT we had a really nice waiter named Liam and he said they only had 6 potatoes left and we got the last ones!! So we Thankyou Liam for feeding us pigs! They were delicious! Liam looked after us all night, even though they didnt have some of the wines we wanted, he looked for the alternative, and they too, were delish! The staff were so great and the food was absolutely mouth watering! Would recommend trying out Mother Vine at least once. I had the Gnocchi and it was very tasty, I may of been burping up some chorizo a few hours after - but it was totally worth it! The pumpkin dip was also delicious, but the halloumi and chilly honey was the star for me!! I would eat that over and over again!!! Thankyou for a great night out Mother Vine.

I was there last night with five friends for my birthday drinks and dinner and I couldn’t have been happier with the food and service (thanks Jake!). I was there in August for the first time and was impressed by the food and service then and last night didn’t disappoint. Even the phone call to book was friendly and easy. Your food is incredible. We were all blown away and rolled out full and happy…thank you so much for topping off a brilliant birthday!

We had 50min for a quick meal before our film at Palace-Nova We chose a footpath table to catch a little sun in the fresh air and were soon enjoying drinks - the large pour of Bridge Road Pale from the tap was good value for $13 Our shared plates of zucchini/ crispy kale and burrata had great presentation and flavours, beautifully balanced with their accompaniments. The sourdough bread we needed to mop the dressings was exceptional - setting a new standard for our expectations I'd not visited since late 2019 so was impressed by the sustained quality of the service and drinks/food!

Have always loved the vibe here and they USED to have an amazing ‘mother board’ cheese platter and various sliders and other share plate options. It seems the ‘new’ owner has decided in his infinite wisdom to change the menu. Very disappointing.

Service was excellent. Our server was extremely helpful and didn't make me feel judged for being a complete wine novice. He recommended perfect wines to accompany my food. Food was amazing, lamb melted in my mouth and i had the most amazing creme brulee I've ever eaten. My overall experience was so pleasant thanks mainly to the staff on service who were warm and welcoming.

Service was great, Sunday jazz band were great though quite loud so if you want to have a conversation sit outside. I would return for the wine knowledge from staff and the music. Snacks on the pricey end. Would be great if customers can choose a few things to snack on with the wine without spending so much for basics

Mother Vine is a brilliant wine bar with a lot of good feels. The service is oustanding, attentive staff and accommodating. The wine list is extensive to say the least, focussing on European wine mostly. Good Australian options too however. If you don't drink wine, don't worry they have you covered. I'd suggest the tasting platter. Yum.

As well as their extensive beer collection, Mother also has a great selection of wines. We really enjoyed the service with a engaging team who entertained how lit we were on a Sunday night. Great venue for casual drinks and catch up with friends

Love it here. Great wine selection and drinks list. More importantly, the service is excellent. I felt our (big group) needs were well met and a large table just popped out of nowhere for us. Thank you.

Great food, and atmosphere. The wine list was extensive, and there were cocktails of plenty, too. Such a nice spot, we would definitely come back. @kirbystaltari

👏 I had a very nice evening at Mother Vine! 🍷 I'm impressed by the wide variety of wines and the atmosphere, so nice. 🎉 It's a very nice place to celebrate a special day or simply meet with friends, share a cheese board or a delicious dessert. 🤵‍♀️Service was excellent, prices are a little above the range but it is worth it. 🫶🏼If you're nearby, visit them!

Great food. Lovely owner. Great wine list. We were table of three and the waiter did f tell us that most plates come in two bites/portions 🙈. Would gladly return.

Magnificent! My sister suggested we book to celebrate my birthday while visiting from Melbourne and this gorgeous restaurant did not disappoint. I loved my experience at Mother Vine - from seating to bill we were charmed by the staff and treated to lovely drinks and food. We were seated at the window and enjoyed an Aperol Spritz cocktail and a glass of champagne to start. The food is bite-sized tapas, but we certainly did not leave hungry. We shared sashimi kingfish, prawns, lobster and beef dishes, and finished with blue cheese and crackers - all washed down with a lovely glass of white wine. The service was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommended!!

The food was nice and the atmosphere was great. The service was okay. After waiting at the door for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement, though staff walked past me multiple times, I got tired of waiting and decided to go find my table and friend myself. During our meal, the lady who served us, however, was great. Overall, I might consider coming back on a less busy day.

Amazing food and a great selection of wines. The cocktails are also amazing. It was one of our best dinners we've ever had.

Fantastic food and wine. The “in focus” nights are truly special, a great chance to try an array of wines from around the world, paired perfectly with delicious food. Big thanks to the brilliant team at Mother Vine for going above and beyond.

The mystery wine flight was great fun. We were hopeless at it but it was still fun. The player was very nice too.

Crowded but also a lot of street activities happening at the time of our visit which added to it. Meal quality is great and the portion sizes are generous. Picked three wines that were all out of stock, ordered potatoes that were out of stock.

Maybe good as a wine bar for after work or pre gig drinks and snacks shared by a large group. Pretty ordinary as a dining experience for a couple. A lot of what I wanted on the menu was not available at the time so my partner and I were stuck with overpriced 'sliders' sold individually with a side of baked spuds which were inferior to what you can do at home. I would not recommend this place as a dinner option.

Lovely generous food & amazing wine. Good service. Not a cheap night but worth every cent we spent. Highly recommend you give Mother Vine a visit in Adelaide

The Bridgeroad Robust Porter On Tap dark beer is a must try. Coffee flavored coffee is sooo beautiful!

Mothervine is a great wine bar with am amazing wine, spirit and cocktail list. Their beer list is ok but not great. Very few people inside due to greater covid restrictions again, but plenty of people sitting outside enjoying a summer's evening.

Great service! Great wine! Special thanks to the manager. He really cares about the customer’s night out and tried his best to leave us happy!

Superb wine menu, but the reason for 3 stars is the extremely overpriced cheese boards. 28$ gives you 2 cheeses of maybe 50g each, 30g give or take of quince paste and some lavosh crackers. For something requiring as little prep as a cheese plate of this size does, prices should be far lower. Disappointing given how nice everything else about the place was, I'd have liked to score it higher but couldn't on good conscience.
