@Josh Jericho, funny enough I was there on this day and can confirm, you must not got the joke and the full context of the conversation, which was regarding the World Cup. Please be very mindful how you write reviews on someone you don’t know, jumping in the “racism” wagon accusations. Aika is a lovely young lady, always friendly and helpful to us regular customers. This Foodland is always tidy, clean, with a great range of diversity foods to cater for all clients. The staff including Aika are always helpful, calm and friendly.

I buy a coffee at their cafe once a week. For many months now, every time I go there a female staff member with plaits spends a lot of time complaining to the barista about managers and other staff members, in front of customers. It looks very unprofessional. Then yesterday, the woman with plaits seemed to be working on her own, and looked very very angry about it. She was very short and abrupt with me and other customers, shoving the loyalty card, and then the coffee at us. I had asked for one sugar but she forgot to put it in there, and also my cup felt lighter than usual, and when I opened it I saw it was only filled to three-quarters. But I wasn't game to go back! I thought her behaviour was very rude. Why would any customer want to go back there to buy another coffee?

Nice big clean and bright supermarket with separate bakery and continental section. Large selection of all types of food. Self service checkouts had large screens so you and everyone else can watch you putting your items through. It's a store I will be avoiding.

Great variety of stock here. Big thanks to the cashier lady for helping me out with buying the metroCard! She noticed me being a uni student, and recommended me to purchase a student concession for a much cheaper travel price.

Decent supermarket in an urban area. Quite a lot of vegan and vegetarian options as well as a fantastic deli. A large selection of cheese and wine in particular from the Barossa and other local producers. Really impressed by the continental deli. Plenty of other usual stock, from kids and baby needs to beauty. They have something of a florist section as well which is really nice. The staff are friendly and super helpful.

This place has a quaint little Cafe inside that does wonderful meals at great prices. My chicken schnitzel burger, chips and coffee only cost me $15.45. I think this is my new go to lunch spot. Even at lunch times it is quiet and there is tons of space.

I bought chicken from the deli section, cooked it as soon as I got home and it was sooo tough that it was inedible. The self check out also has a bunch of extra steps on it that I stole a bunch of stuff without even realising it. This place also smells weird.

I hate to leave a bad review as I'm sure most of the staff are lovely. One member in particular named Aika, needs to be called out on her lack of respect and professionalism. As I waited in line, I heard her telling a customer about how she hates the Croatian people, in addition to making other racist and hateful statements. Evidently she needs tolerance training as this behaviour is unacceptable. If I can receive confirmation she has been disciplined, I will gladly amend my review. Racism has no place in this country and seeing this behaviour from service workers is disheartening.

Didn't appreciate being ignored because my self service checkout was playing up while weighing Avocados and scanning Italian cheese. Live in a country town for two years, come back home to that treatment from kids. Think I might just do a U-Turn...

Clean and attractively laid out with a good range of products for a city store. A little cramped in places but a good overall experience.

Been here on a few occasions including opening day and was pleasantly surprised by how well the store was set up considering the space they had. Have pretty much a heap of standard supermarket food like the usual Foodland but also have a heap of ready made take away food. I tried the sushi which was nice and fresh and a fresh juice which was tasty. Had a coffee from the cafe which was well made. Will go again next time I'm in the city. #LetsGuide #Adelaidefood #supermarket #Adelaide #southaustralia

Quality produce in a medium sized supermarket in the middle of the city. Not great on meat or fish. Great on cheese and sushi.

Great supermarket in the heart of Adelaide city right outside bus stop and taxi rank - so no parking at the door step. They have great variety inside. You will find the popular brands for each product, as well as different smaller local SA products for bakery items, cheese, crackers etc.. love the fresh cakes. They have a good variety of convenience/ready to go food and I love the interesting variety of cup and packet noodles which you won’t find in the big 3. Have not sat in the cafe but it looks nice with big windows for people watching.

The chips from the Cafe today were terrible, they are usually great, but today they were soaked in oil and all clumped together. The dude with the pony tail cannot cook at all. Please train your staff better or pay higher wages. The Cafe is popular. Too bad it's run by very lackluster incompetent staff.

I love that there is a Foodland in the city! It feels like your local foodland, with a cafe and it's in the big smoke. Great lunch-to-go options!

Came here to get a lunch meal thinking it was just a regular foodland. Man was I wrong. Amazing shop, has a massive variety of fresh foods, with a lot of hot food options! There was too many things to pick from I couldn’t decide! Shop layout is very neatly presented, and was impressed by the friendly staff! Would recommend!!!

Love this store. Super cute and has everything you need. Wish they had the recycled cardboard fruit and veg holders so I don't have to use plastic but still a great convenience store.

Quality control needs a huge improvement! PSA: If shopping here, double check your fresh food and meat/dairy dates. On more than one occasion I have been caught out buying moldy and out of date food. This is a health risk

Pretty good range of items for a smallish supermarket. The cafe inside has reasonably priced food that is decent, but the cafe staff are really really rude. I went there the other morning to grab one of their rolls, and the person working their called out "I'm too busy, you'll have to come back later". The cafe was open, and completely empty.
