There was no maintenance team, and the apartments are literally falling apart. They wreak of mold, the wallpaper is falling off the walls. The walls are crumbling behind what wallpaper is left. The apartments have NEVER been updated. I had a problem with my garbage disposal, and instead of fixing it, they just removed it. Vicki, the apartment manager did the best she could under the circumstances of not having a maintenance team, but the place is a mess. I lived there for 9 months, and had 2 pets. I paid $250 PER pet as a nonrefundable deposit, plus, I paid $30 a month for each of them...$1,040 they received from me for my pets and I to live in what has basically turning into a dump. I was told the apartments are FINALLY going to be updated. Vicki told me they were getting a total face lift. Getting rid of the carpets, replacing the wallpaper...etc...but yet I got charged for cleaning the carpets?????? THE CARPETS that are as old as dirt like the rest of the place, AND are going to be replaced. What was the $1,040 for?????? One star is too good.

I resided with Aspen management for 4 years. During that time, they ignored maintenance requests, my dishwasher didn't work the entire time I lived there. A pipe busted in the wall causing water damage, they tore up the carpet to remove the soaked padding never replacing it or fixing it. They upped the rent every year, yet took away things like internet, pool access and other things that were appealing when I first signed my lease. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because I was saving for a house. I finally bought a house this past May, gave my notice (more than 30 days) and was out by July 1st. I left the apartment in better condition than when I moved in. I still received a thousand dollar "bill" for damages. After only 2 months, they already sent that to collections as I refused to pay it due to not not having damages or breaking anything in my lease. I'll be speaking to a lawyer as I have pictures of when I moved in, to when I moved out, ignored maintenance requests, emails corresponding my move out. This is absurd during a time when people are financially struggling more than ever. Do not rent from them if you can help it. They will try to drain you dry.

I rented for over a year. I did struggle from time to time paying the rent. However the rent did get paid. There late fee policy, $30/3 days after due date, $2 a day after the $30. If you have a issue where you have to pay later in the month, you will be paying close to $100. Talk to the manager, let them know you will be late, there is no understanding and will take the late fees off so that it is easier for you. The entire time I lived in the apartment, I could not get cable and internet. I constantly contacted the MANAGERS, because they cannot keep the same manager there, nothing was done about my internet or cable. It was not the providers fault, the wire in the wall was split in the apartment below me. The several people I have known that have rented from aspen management have had very poor reviews. Definitely would rent elsewhere!

I'm a navy vet on ssdi ,, I only gave one star in order to express disappoint in Aspen. They do not help out with anyone in a supportive program or VA programs,, as well ,they never reached out to say so as it's been two months since my application. No wonderyour properties are run down and you get low reviews,, no veterans should ever rent with them

Easy to pay rent. Quiet, peaceful, pleasant. For older apartments they have great amenities inside and are well thought out. Management is great, professional, polite. Maintenance is quick and easily scheduled through the app. You can tell these guys really care about the property due to the fact that they are upgrading roofing at mine when it is obviously not yet in need! Excellent value

Do not chose to rent from this company. You will be swindled. Tim Mills did a great job being my landlord. He followed the contract. When it came to moving out, the company was sneaky and deceitful. Do not chose to live here. The only star is due to Tim.

I would give a zero rating if possible! They took over Anytime Stor n Loc in Ashland ohio, did nothing but raise rent. Entrance gate no longer works. If you go there after it rains plan on your car being muddy. They don't believe in buying gravel! Rent elsewhere!!!
