Ah, Stumptown. You’ll either love this place or be irritated by it. You can’t get 1 million flavors like you can at Starbucks. So don’t come here for that. I think the only syrup sweetener available is vanilla (sugar-free as well). And I can’t really speak to the food, because I don’t eat the food here usually. I’m not a high-carb guy. But the coffee … mmmm … the coffee … it’s the best coffee in town. It’s the perfect balance of flavor. It’s so smooth. That’s my favorite way to describe this coffee. Smooth. I drink a lot of coffee and I always stop at Stumptown when I’m in Portland. Nothing else compares. This particular location has a very nice seating area down below with comfy couches (see my pictures). It’s perfect for a day when I’m in Portland, walking, taking pictures and enjoying the city. I come in here and I don’t want to leave. I enjoy watching the people and drinking my coffee.

I ordered iced mocha and it was perfect. The coffee flavor was good, it was the right blend, the right proportion of coffee and chocolate. I also bought a bag of the original hair bender coffee bean. Would recommend all coffee enthusiast to try Stumptown coffee.

Nice ambience, friendly staff and good coffee. I liked the setup of this place. Very clean and well maintained as well. We ordered Caramel Latte, Matcha latte, banana bread, plain croissant and pista croissant! It’s pet friendly and has a good lobby seating but very limited patio seating.

Mocha with whole milk was decent! Definitely gets too busy to comfortably sit down anywhere to enjoy your coffee, but to-go works fine. It's appended to a hotel lobby, but YMMV with that.

Nice coffee shop! It's located in the downtown, as part of the Ace Hotel. You can easily walk to Powell's and other popular spots. The lounge area in the Ace Hotel is a real treat, comfy couches and with an old-school photo booth for some fun memories. While the coffee and drinks are a bit on the pricey side, they're tasty. Latte, Salted Maple Latte and Chai Latte were nice, happy to tried! Interesting restroom design!

I visited here because apparently it's an iconic establishment in Portland. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, unless I'm absolutely exhausted, but it was chill just crossing it off my list. I don't know if it is worth the drive from out of town tho. Maybe make it a part of your day if you're exploring Portland instead because it definitely is hard to find parking. I parked near a hydrant, thank goodness I didn't get a ticket, just for this opportunity. I purchased the decaf ice latte based upon the recommendation of the worker there. Chill atmosphere!

Best in town by far! Lots of single origin coffee beans from various farms worldwide, mostly dorect trade over 10 years! Check for a single origin coffee, changes on a daily basis. Hot chocolate for kids for a $1 only for any coffee that you purchased. Free coffee for purchases of a coffee beans.

Super friendly staff. I usually prefer darker roast coffees, but I really like the Trapper Creek as a decaf espresso. I also tried a Hazelnut-butter Mocha. Nice flavor!

One of my favorite San Francisco coffee shops… here in its hometown. Loved their Hair Bender blend (named after the beauty parlor that existed in the original location). Very flavorful. + No charge for plant-based milk substitutes + $0.25 discount when you bring a reusable cup 🌱🌎

Friendly baristas and good coffee. Lovely shop with a couple of stool seats by the window. A bit pricey compared to other coffee shops in town even in this prime location.

I stopped by for a quick caffeine boost while exploring downtown. It was fine. The latte I had was just ok (not hot enough and the flavor was unremarkable) Also a bit pricey for what you get. The location was nice since it's connected to the Ace hotel lobby which has nice seating (but I wasn't sure if we were allowed to sit there).

Always a joy to swing by this location. Right coffee to start the morning, and you can take a sip at the lobby of Ace Hotel - which is a beautiful space to be in on its own.

Gorgeous cafe. Enjoyed a golden milk with ginger and turmeric while my boyfriend had a delicious cappuccino. Sitting in the morning sun- can't get much better!

A small coffee shop attached to the Ace Hotel. You like fast service, knowledgeable baristas, and great coffee? Well look no further because this is your place. The seating is limited, but there’s more in the hotel lobby, with deep couches and a cozy loft.

Stumptown totally lives up to the hype. I ordered their cold brew and it was such a cool experience to have it in person at the shop itself. I also ordered a bag of their cold brew which I have since brewed at home and it was almost as good! If you love coffee, you’ve probably heard of stumptown, and you should definitely try this place out!

First time visiting a Stumptown coffee roasters afters hearing about the brand pretty often throughput my life in Portland. I found the cappuccino to be pretty good, nothing outstanding and unexpected but just good! This shop is very small, meant for a quick in and out instead of relaxing inside. The music inside is also pretty loud so only go here if you want a drink and go on your way.

I was staying at Hyatt Centric, and found Stumptown was just down the street for a morning coffee! I got: -Draft Original Cold Brew $5.75 -Snickerdoodle cookie - Sparrow bakery $3.75 Coffee and cookie are on the pricier end, but the cold brew was perfect! I enjoyed the cookie as well. This location isn't too busy, compared to the other downtown location. Staff is friendly, and there is some seating inside. I did enjoy the look and feel of this location for sure. Street parking only.
