Typically love this place. The people on the grill and in the deli are so great. The sandwich counter however- I quickly learned the quality of my sandwich depends on the mood this guy is in. When he is in a good mood he says hi and everything is correct. When he is in a bad mood, he doesn’t say hi, doesn’t speak, sandwich is always wrong. The sandwiches are not cheap. Today I went back to give the sandwich guy another go! I decided to stay and eat my lunch outside instead of returning to work to eat lunch. Usually I get disappointed when I unwrap my sandwich at work to find it’s wrong, so today I was pretty happy I could get it fixed. But nope. I brought it up and he was quite rude. I said I know it’s busy in here I appreciate the help. To which he just took my sandwich out of my hands, tore it apart, slapped lettuce and cheese in it and then handed it back. At this point I was to scared to say I also needed Mayo.

This isn't your Oscar Mayer hot dog. Everything's made on site. And if you like what you got they have everything there to purchase and make it home. And the help there is wonderful!!

Fun stop for sausages. I got the chicken, pork, and their special Italian. They had a lot of ketchup and mustard options which was fun. I appreciated that they ha e gluten-free free buns and don't mind spending a little for them. They are a little expensive off the grill, but worth it to have a fun outdoor eat experience. We had our dog with us at our little table. The guy on the grill was super charismatic and fun to talk with. You can also buy them and take them home to cook. I did this and am excited to grill the for the 4th.

One of our favorite local spots :) We love Otto's selection - so much so that we chose 6 of their sausages to face off head to head. (See photos for more specific details). Our unanimous #1 vote went to their Tuscan Sausage! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Great outdoor counter for a quick, daily lunch. Good selection of meats, mustards, chocolates, etc from all different regions. Haven't tried the sandwiches yet, but they all look great. Will try our best not to go back for lunch tomorrow ;)

I visited yesterday with some friends. I've gone here a handful of times since I was a kid and wanted to see if they were still good. My friends I was with said their food tasted amazing but my original sausage dog was cold throughout but otherwise tasted good. Not sure if it was supposed to be like that or the person working the outside grill didn't know what they were doing. Great environment inside and out with great customer service.

This was our first time to Otto's. We had lunch and did some shopping afterwards. Plenty of seating and fast service at the outdoor grills brimming with hot dogs and sausages. The add-your-own toppings only add to the deliciousness. The deli has a dizzying array of sausages of all kinds, plus some other needs such as buns, mustards and chocolate. The staff was especially nice and helpful. They know their product, and answered all our questions. I will absolutely shop here regularly and recommend others do too.

2022 Otto's family are celebrating 100 years in business! Custom services are available. Many scrumptious items are ready for your eating pleasure. Links of Pork and /or Chicken. Some Smoked. Some fully cooked. Or both. German Bratwurst. Yum. Also Tuscan style. Yum. British bangers, like served at Horseshoe Pub. Best ever breakfast links and ground sausage. Love this place. Lunch time they cook sausages on their grill at store's front door. Sandwich counter inside. Soda pop and beer cooler on one wall. Multiple varieties to select from. People are always friendly and quick to help you. Wish it were closer. Since not, we load up enough to get through the month. They provide ice, or we bring insulated bag with blue blocks. Keep it cool as we go off through town to home. "This little piggy went to market."

Awesome little neighborhood hole in the wall deli. Highly regarded for their meats. They also have a really good sandwich counter, a grill out front and 5 local beers on tap. The Kitchen Sink (hot pastrami, summer sausage, molinari salami, pepperocinis, melted smoked Gouda, melted Swiss cheese, olives, tomato, lettuce, pickles, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and cream cheese on a toasted French roll) a bag of Nacho Cheese Dorito’s and a Block 15 Sticky Hands Hazy IPA

Wish they had longer hours, but that’s the only fault I have with Otto’s. Delicious house made sausage fresh off the grill. Great deli sandwiches. Some hard to find German pantry staples. The employees are friendly and always great to banter back and forth with. A Woodstock neighborhood treasure.

The moment you walk through the door everything is amazing, it smells so good. The selection of meats and cheeses and drinks and sandwiches is awesome. The staff are friendly and the prices are really reasonable. There are so many options, I'll have to go back quite a few times to even scratch the surface of what they offer.

Really great hotdogs and sausages. The smoked pork was fantastic. I also loved how many great mustards they have. I wish we had more time to go back because the sandwich menu looks amazing as well.

Dec 23, 2023 Visit Otto's Sausage Kitchen saved my day and holiday cooking with never-frozen Fresh Pork Belly! I was driving around town for three hours with no luck finding decent-looking frozen pork belly from grocery markets. Desperate, I did a quick search on Yelp for butcher shops. I called the closest three shops to my location, and none had fresh pork belly. One of them said they received them last week, and they are in the freezer now, so they couldn't tell me how old the meat was. I was about to give up, and then Otto's Sausage Kitchen was 4th on my list. Since I saw the word sausage, I thought they would be more likely to have fresh supplies of pork on hand. Heidi answered the phone. She was super friendly and helpful with what I asked and looked for. She told me the amount of fresh pork belly they have on hand and would save one for me to come by to pick it up. Ten minutes later, I arrived at Otto's for the first time. There was a line waiting for them wiener from Otto's Grill outside around 12:30 pm. Another staff helped me when I told them I called earlier and spoke with Heidi. He brought out a whole pork belly since he said they didn't know how much I wanted. I took half, and it weighed 5.830 lbs. ($12 per lb.) of sexy, fresh-looking never-frozen pork belly! Otto's Sausage Kitchen saved the day, and my adult son was happy since I needed this fresh pork belly to make his childhood favorite dish that he requested for Christmas Eve dinner. The store was crowded, yet service was prompt. Otto's is cozy and bustling, with patrons of various needs. Deli style quick in and out with 2-3 small tables inside and benches outside for Otto's Grill. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back to check out their dogs and deli menu.

I dare you to find better sausage anywhere in the greater Portland area! These folks have AMAZING sausage, and the staff are super helpful. We've never had the grilled brats they serve in the summer, but it's on the list for this year!

Great service, good quality sausages. Andouille looks good. The only downside was the grilled sausage lunch. It was grilled well. The smoked sausage ate more like a hot dog. I was probably served the wrong one. If you are hot dog fan then definitely go. Good snap well ground. Just not what I wanted.

Five star rating for a Five star Dong Joint. The make thier own sausage and the quality shows. Deep rich flavor, and a snappy pop to the casings just like grandaddy used to make in the old country. They have home made breads and buns inside and if you want the ultimate experience buy a pack and ask to use that bun over the commercial bun on offer. Then buy a grip of sausage to take home and use with the rest of the buns. I split the sausage and put it and a open bun in a frying pan on medium low heat for a tasty lunch at home or a snack anytime. They close at 5 so come early. Yummy yummers

These sausage dogs that are out on the open Barbecue Cooking by the curb are amazing. I don't understand that they are really good I suggest everybody go by there and try one or two. I give it two thumbs up.
