Not
my
favorite
Fred
Meyer
branch.
They
overcharged
me
$1.80,
their
own
fault,
and
refused
to
correct
it
on-the-spot.
Customer
service
was
closed.
Even
all
the
way
up
to
the
highest
manager
there,
they
wanted
me
to
spend
$13
in
mileage
to
come
back
for
an
adjustment.
At
least
out
in
the
isles,
I
have
gotten
consistently
good
help
over
the
years,
help
with
finding
or
reaching
items,
getting
cases
unlocked
or
even
getting
to
go
into
the
garden
area
after
it's
just
been
closed,
which
was
very
nice
of
them.
This
branch
tends
to
have
less
shop
lifters
or
security
issues,
so
that
is
nice
too.
But
the
employees
generally
are
very
dominant
types.
They
have
had
grocery
cashiers
who
cannot
or
will
not
attend
agreeably,
but
are
forceful
with
imposing
their
preferences
on
you
after
you
already
stated
your
preferences
politely.
If
you
balk,
they
will
do
the
exact
opposite
of
what
they
know
you
want
and
even
try
to
embarrass
you.
A
few
years
ago
the
cashiers
were
soul-less
robots,
then
the
store
went
through
a
hiring
phase
where
all
the
cashiers
tried
to
be
your
imposing
best
friend
and
interrogating
you
about
your
purchases
to
make
small
talk,
but
as
of
2023
they
are
somewhere
in
between
in
between.
But
still
vindictive
and
codependent/presumptuous/imposing.
As
is
typical
for
all
Fred
Meyers,
their
pricing
specials
are
labeled
very
deceptively,
due
to
small
fonts
and
insane
font
contrast.
I
avoid
them
for
seasons
at
a
time
and
when
I
do
go
back,
I
know
I'll
be
avoiding
them
in
the
near
future.
For
a
long
time,
their
customer
service
employees
were
cold
and
the
computer
system
unavailable,
with
system
outages
at
night.
Lately
it's
been
better.
Parking
&
garden
are
great.
This
location
did
not
have
Julia's
fresh
gluten-free
all
summer
or
fall,
but
in
Orchards
I
recently
saw
the
display.
