Everytime I have been to this location, there is always an issue, from cleanliness to staff selectively enacting policies amongst patrons. I've never experienced a franchise so poorly run with no cohesive standards. Today was a new low in making me feel so physically uncomfortable I left immediately after being scolded I had been on the premises for two minutes in total. Definitely not returning, this location has been given a multitude of chances to course correct. Zero out of ten stars.

Poor customer service. Walked in excited to sign up and get back into the swing of things at a gym, but was very quickly soured on the experience. The woman at the front didn't know how to sign someone up for a membership manually, so she paged someone (a supervisor?). Supervisor bluntly told her that I should sign up through the website and offered nothing more. I'm technologically inclined, but damn. Does any business value the employee-customer relationship and experience anymore? I didn't want a website sign-ups experience. I wanted something in-person. What's the point of having humans working at an establishment if those humans are of no help to the patrons? Shouldn't a business encourage their employees to sign up as many new members as they can?

Absolutely love this location, I felt welcomed by staff right when I walked in (which is so comforting when you are feeling a bit intimidated by the gym). The staff are very kind and helpful/attentive and make you feel important/valued especially Bill. Love Bill and all his staff!! Super clean facility and am always seeing staff clean as well as other members after using equipment. Spacious and well kept. Love the amenities and vibes. Have been recommending to family and friends. Really impressed by my experience so far (plus great cost for black card). Unlimited gym, tanning, hydromassage, chair massage, red light therapy and more for like $24! -Madeleine

This is a very nice Planet Fitness facility. Clean, neat and orderly. Very friendly staff. There are lots of lots of cardio machines in her for those that are into that sort of thing. There's also a good amount of weight. The whole place is spacious and feels very uncrowded despite the amount of equipment on the floor.

There is a blonde manager who is the reason I won't be going to this gym ever again. I had to listen to her bark orders at the poor guy just trying to do his job + customers who she went out of her way to address. NOT A WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE. What's the kicker? She didn't wash her hands after using the bathroom. I told her & she smiled & said "thank you" as she continued to stand at the front desk & made no action. 🤢

This is the best gym I have ever been to because the customer service is just amazing everyone there is so respectful and makes sure you’re having a great time, and they have great workout machines. And last of alll again best customer service. I recommend this gym to everyone

Big gym with the feel of a small gym. Very friendly staff. Going to miss running in before work and getting a quick pump. Definitely recommend

Nice gym, great selection of equipment and the single person membership price is very reasonable. Lockers are good, there are other rooms dedicated to stretching, abs, and core also.

This place is great but I really don’t like every time I go there for my 30 minutes work out somebody is working out there not following the circuit at all. The only reason why I got my membership in this place it’s because of that 30 min circuit. Is it very difficult to hang a BIG advertisement to say that space is only for those of us who really follow the circuit? It’s important to be clear this issue is not only for Rochester location. That happen to me no matter what location I go. Really annoying.

Only $10 a month with a $1 sign up charge. So I joined but then found out in September I will get a $49 yearly set up fee charge:-( they don't disclose that in their ad! Still a good deal though so worked out today for an hour:-)

Just posting to ask a question. If we are not allowed to use the circuit lying hamstring curl machine in that area, is it possible to get another one? Wanted to say I love this location, and the staff is great.

I've been going to here for more than a year right now. It has all the machines and free-weights that you need for your workout. Plus they have renewed almost all the machines + the addition of the TRX & pull-up bars. Pd: would be nice to have a bench or support to be able to use the new pull-up bar with the bands, right now is impossible if you are short

Nice but small location. Still nice and clean and I don't feel pressure to look a certain way. I don't always have to wait long for a machine and no harassment from dudes.

They have everything you need there for a thorough workout and you can't beat the price. Place is always clean. I never wait for machines.

I've been going to this Planet Fitness for about 7 years. I've never been to a gym that has been kept up as well as this one! ALWAYS very clean and the equipment is kept in good working order. The manager, Bill, is truly THE BEST! Very cordial and he works his rear end off keeping the place in tip-top shape. I've been to other PF's and they aren't kept as nice as this one. I highly recommend this place.

Here are the pro's and cons. Pro, it is a very good sized Gym. Pro. The staff is friendly and helpful. Pro, great prices for joining a Gym. Pro. It is very close to me. You can take classes of your choice, that works around your schedule. Con, when I signed up. I had a bit of trouble hearing the front desk clerk. No biggie. I love the app. You can track your fitness activity, and see the improvement in your fitness.

The owner has been upgrading the amenities which is also nice to see. This gym is absolutely amazing!!

Great gym, great staff! They always have clean facilities and lots of equipment to achieve workouts.

The coaches have been so helpful and they make you feel welcomed the second you walk in the door. I am super thankful I happened to come across Planet Fitness and would highly recommend to anyone!!!
