Refused to serve me when I was stone cold sober. Only takes cash. Tall skinny woman bar tender was the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. After talking one of the regulars into making her serve me, she refused to make me a mixed drink because there were no clean cups. Clean cups were in clear view. All in all if you like to be abused this may be the bar for you, low light, all cash, and no class.

Very friendly, just stopped in for a soda got the talking football with the barmaid and a couple customers and had a pretty good time by just having a few pops

Went in during the day for a late lunch. Very quiet and laied back environment. Ordered the cheeseburger and was shocked at how incredibly good it was! It was one of the best dive bar burgers I've ever had. Seriously delicious! Cash only bar (ATM inside), low light, no pool table, friendly patrons, great service. Also Co-Co is my new favorite barmaid!

Came in for one on the way home got a cold beer with a smile. They had karaoke and seemed like just a bunch of regulars (not a bad thing) It was open until 2am it was an older crowd when i visited *40 up Not visually appealing but I'm not complaining just reviewing for the next guy

Employee was very nice karaoke was fun I didn't stay long because there was too many people in there that's the only thing I didn't care for but overall it was okay

Tonight was my first night going to Starting Gate for karaoke. The bartender Lisa is simply amazing, and the karaoke DJ, Teresa was awesome. Great atmosphere, and prices are cheap. I HIGHLY recommend this place, even if you just want something to eat and drink, you'll love it too..
