We are currently enjoying jazz at this very authentic pub in the Wayne State University district. It's Sunday evening and the jazz is kicking! Live jazz, decent food and drinks, mature crowd. Come check this place out!

Awesome food! Unexpectedly unique dishes. Great menu, with delicious choices; vegan and vegetarian dishes too; something for everyone’s taste. Great atmosphere; friendly staff; fair prices. And of course plenty of draft beers, bottles and cans, and bar drinks! Live music several nights a week. Indoor and outdoor seating; eclectic and low key; trendy but not overly.

Drink selection is great but, I’m sitting here right now and really feel that the manager doesn’t care for young African American business. The funny thing is I’ve been here after work with a collar on and it was fine. I spoke to the bar manager and after he ignored me he looked back to see if I noticed. Wow Yonni.

Awesome vegan food. So delicious. We will definitely add this to our favorite vegan restaurants. Will come back for jazz night. Staff and atmosphere were wonderful.

Really liked this place when we went unfortunately don't have all the pictures of the food and drinks but damn they were good! Also a little cool artistic neighborhood right behind it. Tons of paintings and yard sculptures. Lastly next to my #1 favorite pizza place pie-sci!

What that amazing find. I walked in on a random Sunday evening and there was live music playing not only was live music playing but the musicians were sitting at my table. I got a chance to listen to them practice and warm up and then show out the service was amazing and I really love the energy and atmosphere. The food was pretty good as well. I had a burger, hard cider and fries. Perfect meal for dinner and a show. The neighborhood was super cool and very accessible. Parking was a readily available. It was a nice cool night everybody was enjoying themselves. I enjoyed myself and I will be back. I hope this place does well in flourishes. The hostess, for the evening was amazing.

Unfortunately I will not choosing or recommending this location. We went in a group out outside separately using their online self pay that was recommended on the bill. After paying and receiving confirmation we went outside to say our goodbyes when a worker came out and said, Who owes me, I have some unpaid bills. We all checked out payments, he said something like this is a new system and we are trying to learn how to use it. We understood that they are trying to learn their system but the approach was all wrong and I did not appreciate it! At all!

Food and drinks were amazing... Best birria quesadillas I've ever had in life! Chicken tenders were so Delicious! Atmosphere was great, entertainment was wonderful, and staff was great!

This place has way better than "bar" food. They have French dip sandwiches, birria tacos and the best fish tacos I've ever had. Would def. go back. The owner also seems like a genuinely nice guy.

Had a date with the lady. Burgers were quick and tasty. Place is really nice on a slow day. Workers seemed excited to make new drinks.

The food is always delicious. Everything I have tried is always delicious. Today was wings. Its hard to mess them up but the ones I had were very delicious. Great place to hang out. The service is exceptional.

43 year old dad came here Sunday 2/12/23 with my 10 1/2 year old son with special needs and severe food allergies after an afternoon at the Zoo. We were greeted warmly, given a great table with plenty of space, all of our dietary concerns were taken seriously and the food was delicious. Definite local vibe here, with a great mix of people. We watched the puppy bowl while we ate and enjoyed seeing the jazz band who performs every Sunday at 7 setting up. Will be back ASAP for friendly welcoming environment and excellent, soy-free food.

Nice little pub with good music and a comfy feel. Several TV's with sports on but not intrusive to the experience. Drinks were reasonable and service was friendly and spot on. The food looked and smelled good, will definitely return to try it. Parking was easy. I recommend, if in the area, to stop in and give it a try.

Only spent a short time during our Gears & Beers event. However, the bar was fun, and the service was pretty good, considering we all (approximately 60 people) showed up at once. I want to come back and spend an afternoon or evening here some time and try the food. Fun atmosphere.

This pub was pretty nice. My server was amazing even though she was new. However, my burger was not so great. I asked for medium well I got medium rare. The fries were pretty good. It's a small pub with not a lot of seats and it's very crowded. Overall great for college kids.

This place is great! Whether you’re stopping in for a beer or a cocktail, or coming in for a plate of delicious food; this establishment is amazing! The old fashioned I ordered was crafted perfectly, and my fiancés spicy margarita came back a bit heavy on club soda, which the bartender quickly recreated for her, and she loved it! We both ordered the fish tacos, and they were to die for (not literally)! The breading on the cod was out of this world, and we enjoyed the truffle fries! All in all, this is a must go place if you’re in the Wayne State College area! Two thumbs up!

A very nice chill spot. The food was surprisingly great. Their chicken is better than most restaurants! The owner and the workers were very respectful and helpful. I recommend checking this place out!

I visited here for a baby shower I had gone to during their "Girls just wanna Brunch" event. We had a great time. The dj was awesome and kept us moving. The food was delicious. I had shrimp and grits and a couple mimosas. It took a little while for them to bring the food, but it was worth the wait.

First time here and this place is amazing and the food is fresh!!!! My husband enjoyed his steak sandwich so much that he devoured it before I could take an actual picture and said the last bite was like heaven! I recommend any burger, it literally melts in your mouth!!! The spinach &artichoke dip is great as well! AND EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE !!!🤯🤯 we will be back!

I love a pub with a vegan option!! Quaint spot and I certainly wouldn't have guessed I'd like it so much by driving by. Keeping it on my radar for the next time I'm in town. The tomato soup is stellar.

Staff are extremely rude and disrespectful. I have a temporary paper drivers license at the moment because I'm waiting for my ID to come in the mail so I showed my United States Passport Card to which the bartender start literally screaming at me saying she's not going to serve me because its a fake ID. I have used this exact ID to travel out of the country; since when is a US passport not acceptable ID? Saying no is one thing but being extremely disrespectful screaming at customers and making a scene is absolutely atrocious. I have worked in the food and hospitality industry and I can assure you there's no way that bartender should have passed her basic training because if she did she would know what is and what isn't an acceptable ID. Not a very welcoming atmosphere.

I haven’t had a chance to eat here yet, but needed to leave a review on the employees or possible manager I believe I got to speak too today. I was grabbing pizza from next door and unfortunately blew a tire turning into the street. As soon as I pulled into a spot on the road he made sure I knew I had a flat. Went a grabbed my food, where then him and his friend met me and asked if I needed help but had told them I called my boyfriend who was coming to change the tire. His tools died and they happily let him charge them inside. After we couldn’t get them off he offered and brought us out pops while we tried to get the tire off before calling a tow truck. I have been parked next to his building for hours and even was told we were more than welcome inside to warm up. We will definitely make it a point to stop and get food from these wonderful people soon. Thank you so much for your kindness

I have been to this bar a couple of times. depending on the night the vibe might change. I do know that on Monday They call it Slow Jams.. not sure why when they play all types of music. They have a descent selection of craft beer 🍺 🍻.. Alot of Whiskey and Bourbon to choose from. Being a tequila drinker They could add more of a better selection here. They also have an outside patio that is very popular when the weather is nice, other than that it serves like a smoking area. I'm not sure if they have food because I always come kinda late, but I never seen anything resembling restaurant vibes.

Had a good time. Good environment and great food! The Korean Sricky wings were delicious, along with a side Ceasars salad.

Soup & Salad … can’t go wrong! It was very good. Tomato based and cheese sandwich. The staff was laid back and professional. Check it out for live music and singing.

The new menu has tons of vegan items and everything was delicious. It was quite clear from the taste, and talking with the employees, how much thought and care went into the smallest details like ingredient sourcing. The ambience is really great as well.

Love this bar! Great bartenders, nice atmosphere, good food selection. Have the beef tacos, they are some of the best I've had, and I've traveled extensively to Mexico. They also have a decent tap selection.

been here twice while visiting Detroit. The food is always good. The fries stand out, they are amazing. I don’t usually like fries unless they are really, really good, but I crave these and wish somewhere local to me did them this well—perfectly crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Truffle parm or rosemary garlic, can’t really go wrong with either. If you don’t upgrade to fries, you’ve blown it.

What a great hole in the wall pub. The food is simply not what you expect from a typical pub. What a great small menu. We had the sticky wings which were amazing. We also had the spicy chicken sandwich and the birra tacos. Both were outstanding. Definitely a spot I will stop in again.

It was our first time we our one year old dog at a patio restaurant. Thank you for letting us try to teach him manners. Sorry for his big barks. Food was also excellent - we will come back - maybe without the dog and when I am less pregnant and can have a cocktail. The service was awesome as well. Cool find!

Love, love, love!!! The staff is great, drinks are great and it is obvious they take care with every meal made!! This is a must go to place!!

Really intimate vibe for locals to get together. Love that they have all kinds of board games to play. Always have a great time here!
