I was in Detroit for a wedding weekend all the way from Wyoming and my body just had enough of the stress, lack of good, clean food, and good exercise, so I was dealing with a massive headache, painful neck and back muscles, constipation, and other issues. I called Dr. Stefan Brink after a desperate google search, and the receptionist so graciously took me call. They were full with appointments, but they would fit me in as best as they could as soon as I could get there. I loved the care I was given. It did take several hours as other patients had priority before me, but I wasn't lost in the shuffle. In fact, I loved the quiet, restful time to myself given my loaded week before. After my treatments (gua sha, acupuncture, colonic with Patty, auriculotherapy), I left refreshed and ready to face the next couple of days. I was listened to, guided in my care, and I am following the therapies provided to me now which are slowly making improvements. Because of his care, I am looking for a new doctor back in my home state to provide me the same level of care and support. He would be my new doctor if I was within driving distance, and I will be keeping in touch.

I made an appointment for a colonic with Dr. Stefan, and it was probably one of the best choices I have made in my adult life! For years, I have suffered from IBS and assumed I was stuck with my symptoms for life. From my colonic, Dr. Stefan discovered I had yeast overgrowth and recommended a pro-biotic and enzyme for the yeast. I thought I might feel the benefits of the colonic slowly, but the very next morning I woke up with energy and a clear head for the first time in almost 2 years. I didn't even realize I had been suffering from chronic fatigue and brain fog (due to Candida) until I experienced this energy and focus. As a bonus, he discovered I had a hiatal hernia and showed me how I can correct this myself. And with this correction, I have been able to take deep belly breaths for the first time in my life. I never understood why it was painful for me to try and breathe from my center (belly) and now I know why and I've been able to taker deeper fuller breaths. This has greatly helped with anxiety. He also provided reading material so I could learn about the condition. He knew I wanted to learn as much as possible, as I have just started a Functional Nutrition course. It was also very cool to hear that all of his knowledge and recommendations aligned with what I am learning in my current course work. I cannot recommend Dr. Stefan enough!!

The best acupuncture experience ever. Dr Stefan is so very knowledgeable, considerate and and thorough. Truly taking time to address your concerns and issues; getting to the root cause. He was recommended by several people and I’m glad I made my appointment. I can so happily say I’m on a path to complete peace and healing in every aspect of my being!

Loved this place. The atmosphere is awesome. The staff was so welcoming and informative. They talk to you during your procedures to explain what is going on and make you feel so comfortable in an uncomfortable setting. They give you space but are right there if you need them.

I had a great experience here and I learned things about my body I never knew. I look forward to my next visit and recomend this place to anyone looking for rejuvenation and relaxation.

Patty was great from the first moment. She made the whole experience, the colonic, understandable and therefore less scary and more effective. I had the chance to meet Dr. Stefan, as well. A confident and very grounded man. The place is clean and hygienic. I'll be returning for further treatments.

Dr. Brink has a wonderful presence, I felt he really was interested in helping me and really cared. I had very uncomfortable pressure in my head for weeks that I couldn’t figure out how to remove. After acupuncture and spinal alignment from Dr. Brink, the head pressure is gone! I feel so much lighter, better mind clarity, and less anxiety. He also performed an emotional/ trauma release. I feel like I have more energy and more at peace. He had a resident with him during the appointment, she was kind and knowledgeable.

So far I've had 4 acupuncture sessions and I can already feel positive results in my body. My awareness is shifting. The atmosphere is also calming and peaceful. I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Stephen and highly recommend!!

This absolutely is a healing oasis! Hubby & I booked colonics, expecting to feel lighter & maybe an energy boost at best, but, LET ME TELL YOU . . . I, 37F, have had chronic fatigue, shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, & intense fibromyalgia pain for years. After repeated visits, my PCP deemed me “completely healthy” & said I may be imagining the pain. 😒 Within minutes of viewing my intake forms, Dr. Stefan did a stress test, diagnosed a hiatal hernia, showed me how readjust it, & the pain was GONE. I’m breathing normally. It’s been 2.5 weeks since our first appointment, & I have NO nausea. My anxiety is lower, my patience is longer . . . I FEEL AMAZING! I've been a health enthusiast my whole life and have seen a good number of naturopaths. I'm happy to say that Dr. Brink is, in my opinion, one in a million! I initially saw him for colon irrigation, something I've always wanted to try - loved it! He gave me a book to read on the subject that really opened my eyes. Now I recommend it to everyone! I've also had a mysterious unproductive cough for about a year; my family doctor couldn't figure out the cause. Dr. Brink suggested a 30-day vegan detox cleanse and sold me a great little recipe book, too. He also gave me some very effective herbal supplements and, after two weeks, my cough is 90% gone and at the age of 57, I've never felt better. My wife suffered a massive cranial aneurysm in Jan, 2021, which blinded her in one eye, caused balance and gait issues, and some moderate cognitive confusion. She was hospitalized for a month, and subsequently developed an aggravating and painful case of pudendal neuralgia, which severely limited her ability to bend over and even put on her shoes. We spent thousands of dollars on expensive, out-of-network, cutting edge treatment which helped some, but not much. Dr. Brink indicated that he has been practicing acupuncture for over 42 years and encouraged me to bring her in. After the first two sessions, she noticed a dramatic decrease in pain and increase in mobility. I came to The Health Oasis today after a dental appointment where two fillings were put in one of my back molars. After the novocaine wore off I was in excruciating pain! Dr. Brink gave me an herbal supplement for pain and placed only two acupuncture needles, one in my face and one on my right foot, in a very short time the pain subsided almost entirely!

Had a great experience. Highly recommend checking them out. I never used this service before so not sure how prices compare, but very professional

I went to this acupuncture location today august 23 2023. It was excellent. I told them my current health issue. You fill out a checklist assessment based on your health prior to visiting. The staff there are great to talk with. The acupuncture procedures was exactly what I needed! it was relaxing and I feel better. I will definitely be back to improve my health !!! He genuinely cares about his patients and has a special way of tuning into each person. His treatment plan is very individualized and he adjusts as you need it.
