I'm not judging the park for its batting cages. Although 15 pitches for $1 seems a bit High to me. But they offer a good opportunity for a child or teen to work on their hitting. The one-star rating is for the miniature golf course. It is in dire need of maintenance. If it were a house it would be condemned. Debris from trees everywhere. Tree limbs on the courses. Part of the course is not even usable. The Fountains and waterfalls are not even working. Crumbling landscape timbers, broken lights, buckled turf on the putting greens that make it impossible to get an accurate shot. And they charge $7 per person for this terrible experience. Management needs to get its act in gear.

What a dump . Eight bucks to play "miniature golf " . Really putting on concrete. Greens are destroyed . Only one course was open in the whole park. Best thing for this place is a bulldozer at this point.

This place is run down. Empty ponds and fountains filled with trash and junk. Green water in a pool that used to be for bumper boats. The obsticles on the mini golf consist of a lot of ripped turf. Broken lights, missing bricks and rotting wood all over. Mini golf is $7 per person. Cash or check only. The employee was nice but I only saw one running the whole place.

Took the kids for a fun morning. The guy was nice enough to discount our game as they were pressure washing. It is unfortunate they only accept cash. So 4 dollars later on the atm i could pay him. The club my son got was pretty beat up. Kinda wish they would have asked if they wanted a special color club or ball. Only 1 of the 2 courses were open. Need repair. Some of our shots got caught by exposed plywood or uprooted turf. I wish they had a hint more elaborate courses. They were basic and all seemed the same. A few times my 9 year old asked "didn't we do this one already? " I wasn't able to get food as they hadn't made any yet (around 11). On guy was finishing up the washing, the other was trying to get the food stand set up. The 3rd guy was just sort of sitting around. This place has potential to be good again, but it just seems they have given up.

One course of mini golf and batting cages are open. I'm really hoping the new owners get the place restored. It really has so much potential and the only place like it around this area.

Great place to go for a low-key night out! Cons: • Cash only, but they have an ATM inside • No bumper boats as they advertise Pros: • Inexpensive • Lots of shade • Tropical Sno in the parking lot! (as of June '22) • Tons of batting cages with different speed options • 2 options for mini golf courses (regular or "road") • Mini golf is a full 18 holes

We were at Centerfield the other night and had a wonderful time! Fantastic place with just the best workers. We especially loved PaPaw from Mississippi who made the kids night! Love seeing this place come back to life. Can’t wait to spend many summer nights here!

Looking for something fun to do? Don't come here. The place is ran down. Algea and standing water on the course. Go carts don't run and the pool is green and not up and running. Really wish i would have went somewhere else today.

Used to be nice. They haven't updated any of their equipment since they've opened. The batting cages are awful, but one of few options in the area to hit balls outdoors. They have little competition in the area, so they see no reason to make any changes and are fine with the status quo.

Fantastic spot to play some mini-golf. Took the nephew to play, and it was about $10/person for 18 holes. Can't argue with that. Currently renovating the second 18 holes, just showing that they want to keep things fresh. Would recommend this place as a great place to take the kids!

We only did the mini-golf which was fun. The turf should probably be replaced as well as some of the tees, and some of the insides of the holes were broken leaving broken metal inside which I was leery about. The shade was great! The employees were kind. There was plenty of seating. The prices seemed fair at $8 for 18 holes. I'll go back but I'll be wary of the broken holes. It just needs some TLC to get 5 stars and no broken holes to get 4 .

It seems like the new owners are trying and it shows. However it was $24 for three of us to play mini golf and the course isn't that up kept. One had the hole completely filled with water. I want to like it but there is just more improvements to happen.

Only things open are batting cages and golf. I'm not sure if the rest of it will open soon or if this is all that's left of this place? Never been here before. It's good for cheap batting cages but wouldn't return for anything else. Very run down. Appears arcade and snack bar not open. Also they only take cash but that's not advertised anywhere.

Always a good time! Usually the place is pretty lightly attended so you can get to the fun right a way. Shot a 66 on the front 18. Good luck. Edit: so I see some folks, this Julie character, showing pictures of the course full of leaf debris looking unusable. That's true, but it's for the back 18 holes which is closed. I think it's more akin to you closing the guest bathroom at your house since you turned the water off before remodel. That said I remodel slow.

Unfortunately with the weather being on the cold side, the pitching machines were quite a bit off target. Only 4 or 5 out of 12 pitches were hittable. Most didn't even reach the batting area, let alone the plate. Looking forward to warmer days.

Don't waste your time! No go carts or bumper boats. The place is rotting and the current owner doesn't care! Someone needs to buy this place, it could do really good with a little effort.

The one golf course they had was good, but when we went, go-karts and everything else were not working. Otherwise, it's a great place for some outdoor family fun!

First of all, I love mini golf and this is the only place to play near me. This is one of the past times that should never disappear. Yes it needs some updating but it is fun, on the cheaper side, close by, and for all ages.

  • 4/5 Nick H. 1 year ago on Google
This fun park is showing it's age a bit, but is still a fun time. The mini golf area is not super creative, but it's still fun to shoot for a hole in one (smile). Despite other reviews I've read about Centerfield park, only one of the 18 holes had plywood showing. The batting cages are also well worn but functional. Seeing an older guy like me trying to hit a 40-mph fastball was probably a good show for other park goers! The lone attendant on site was friendly and attentive. There was no good available at the time we went. It is a cash only place. Overall, a good time for the money.

I went there yesterday night with my cousin. The owner was really nice and the mini golf was a great experience.

Have loved this place since I was a kid. Was there today with my son using the batting cages. The owner was amazing!! So incredibly helpful and nice!!! Gave my son the extra confidence in the cages after helping us get the right bat size!!

Good affordable family prices, we had a great Time being there and playing the Putt - putt course. I am only rating this 4 star's because the course is in bad shape, needs lots of maintenance.

  • 1/5 Royalty L. 4 years ago on Google
This place use to be great but they need a lot of work done that's why they don't get much business

  • 2/5 Sam D. 4 years ago on Google
This place used to be cool. It's kinda been let go. What once was a cool water feature around mini golf course is now a gross hole in the ground with a giant pump in the middle. Path lights broken or out. Reaching my hand in the hole to grab my ball and cut myself. Overall we had fun playing. That's why I didn't give it a one star. But I'm really sad how much this place has gone downhill.

Family friendly. I like this place only been once but plan on going again with my family.

  • 1/5 Redbirds F. 4 years ago on Google
Rude staff. Mini golf is run down. Batting cages don’t work. Grounds need attention. One staff member smokes around customers. I don’t see this place staying open much longer. Used to love going there.

  • 5/5 Raise 4 years ago on Google
Golf course is way to small never even got a chance to pull my driver out

  • 4/5 Ethan P. 4 years ago on Google
It's not well maintained at all, but it's expected in this day and age (referring to how leisure time is spent). Either way if you have a great bunch of people to go with you can't have a bad time!

  • 2/5 Maddy R. 4 years ago on Google
The guy who works the goatcarts is rude and it's kinda depressing

  • 2/5 Sunny T. 3 years ago on Google
Kinda dirty and unkept. Lots of burnt out lightS on the golf course. Could definitely use some repair work as well

  • 1/5 Ariana W. 3 years ago on Google
We went the other day with one of my friends who used to go when he was little. We had great expectation but the staff was rude the whole place looked run down. There was no water in the water features. Some of the holes on mini golf were unusable. The concession stand looked disgusting. It looks like they only cared about the batting cages.

  • 1/5 Laurie M. 3 years ago on Google
Disgusting all around. The place is literally falling apart. Mini golf course is falling apart, the bumper boat water was almost brown, go karts were not open, but that's ok because they were broken down too. The screens were ripped on the building, roof is falling apart, weeds are overgrown everywhere ~ even out of the gutters. We did not even finish the putt putt. Do not waste your time or money here!

  • 1/5 Sadie E. 3 years ago on Google
It is low maintenance and needs a lot of improvement; nothing ie open but golf .

My family and I love coming here to play mini golf. This place needs a little maintenance done, but it's still really fun and there's a lot to do here! We always try to stop in if its nice outside when we are in town.

  • 4/5 shirlene g. 3 years ago on Google
My husband and I go here for mini golf or to the batting cages with our grandson. Bathrooms are way outdated but people are friendly and prices are good.

  • 1/5 Amanda N. 3 years ago on Google
This place has seriously gone downhill and is in DESPERATE need of a clean up and remodel. The building has buckets everywhere to catch water from the ceilings and caution tape all over. The whole back half of mini golf is closed because it's so rundown and overgrown. Many holes on the open half are in need of some work, one hole had a pretty large hole in the green and was just broken concrete. Sorry to say I will not be back.

  • 3/5 Marc K. 3 years ago on Google
Can I be honest here? At this point the decrepid condition of the park is a novelty. I felt like Haply Gilmore on the last hole of the tournament.

  • 1/5 Outlaw C. 3 years ago on Google
I brought all my sons there. When they were young. They all came back to the area. So we decided to go back there like e use to do. So disappointed. So. So. Run down. Ashame was a great family place. Either close it down. Or sell it to someone who cares and will fix it up. We won’t be back

  • 1/5 Julie W. 3 years ago on Google
It uses to be a magical.and fun place when we were younger, now it is old and decrepit. Sad really

  • 1/5 Nick D. 4 years ago on Google
The place looks horrible they have comes everywhere the building has water damage and the go carts are out of service because they refuse to fix them

  • 5/5 CP D. 4 years ago on Google
Really fun place I love the batting cages!

  • 3/5 Noelle B. 4 years ago on Google
I had fun, but it's very run down and ripped up courses messed up turns. The end shot is also somewhat a rip-off. It says "hole in one in the front hole for a free game". I suprisingly ended up getting it and only got a buy one get one free card, so I'd have to buy another game then. Besides that I had fun with the minigolf.

  • 4/5 Melissa P. 4 years ago on Google
It is run down some, but we had a great time.

i have always loved this place and often bring the kids here , even though there is only 1 course open. We are looking very forward to the second courses upbringing, and hopefully more! both kids enjoy playing the one course, and we sometimes will use the cages when running.

Went to their driving range today. I left immediately when they were gonna charge me $21 for a large bucket of balls! With prices like that it was no wonder no one was there
