DO NOT RENT BY HERE! I lived here for 6 months and it was the absolute most disgusting place, they looked nice, but they were horrible. The staff when I moved in (Feb 2020) was great but then it changed completely. No one would return calls emails or messages through their portal. I gave written notice of moving out repeatedly, although they claim I didn't. Sewage repeatedly backed up into my apartment, into my kitchen sink, into my bathtub, into my dishwasher, up from the drain for the air conditioner... it was disgusting and unliveable. their maintenance team was under staffed and could never respond in timely way or keep up with the demand of all of the problems people had. Even if you give written notice that you are terminating your lease watch your credit report they may turn you over with fees stating that you didn't. Worst rental experience.

I have lived here almost 11 months and I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. I moved here thinking I would be able to workout and wash. That was only going good for the first 3 months here. Those amenities have been made unavailable and when I ask about them there has been different dates giving but currently still closed. For all the money we pay here I understand a month are two but for almost 6 months that is ridiculous. I have not received my money for putting on the card they provide to wash my clothes, which I have not been able to wash my clothes do to the construction they have been going on. Even when everything was open the pool was always closed for something. It is fake advertisement. If you have another choice please chose it over these. There was an incident when my friend toilet was over flowing and she was moping it up and heard a knock on the door before she get down the hall they was in her living room. What kind of privacy is that. I understand it was emergency due to water flooding but give her a chance to open the door before you bust in her apartment like the police. There is no explanation for this wrong is wrong.

I lived here for over a year and it was not a pleasant experience. My best advice, aside from look elsewhere, is make sure to keep all paperwork and take pictures of everything before you move in and after you move out. If possible, limit communication to email only and record any phone calls you have with staff. The staff can be extremely rude. Maintenance is respectful but can take several days to show up and simply patch up problems rather than fix them. Tenants are not a priority. All they care about is how much money they can make off you.

This place is not managed well in the slightest. My a/c never worked properly and it ran up the utility bills. I requested maintenance multiple times and the problem was never fixed but they lost the spare key to my apartment multiple times which was very unsettling since I was living by myself as a young female. The shower wall caved in near the faucet from mold and instead of taking out the old wall they patched it. The pot holes are absolutely terrible. At one point my car was stolen and there aren’t cameras in the parking lot. Despite the police station being a mile down the road, they don’t patrol. When I did move out, they charged me for bogus reasons on the move out statement totaling $1300. The main issue being carpet. They sent me photos and said the carpet in the apartment was discolored. It just needed vacuumed😐. I told them I didn’t have a chance to vacuum when I moved out. They also tried to charge me for not paying the last months pro rated rent. I paid that a month before I even moved out. And tried to charge me for not turning in keys. Which I did. The door to the main entrance of the apartment building didn’t close all the way, this led to there being lots of bugs. Not to mention, the rent is extremely overpriced. Definitely don’t recommend.

My son lived here during his last year in college and loved it! The apartment was spacious, clean, and the complex was quiet. The workout room was super nice with a variety of equipment, fresh towels, TVs, etc. and the pool was always kept so clean. The staff was always professional and easy to work with, especially Amy. I have already recommended this complex to some friends who are building a house!

My family has lived at Cedar Lakes Apartments for 1 1/2 years and will be for a few more. At a decent cost, Living in this community has been a positive experience since we moved here from Ohio And we LOVE it here in Lake St Louis. The staff from the Property Managers to maintenance have been wonderful and friendly. All of our maintenance needs are completed within the same day. The guys are friendly, polite and professional. When we call or stop by the office we're always greeted by our names and they're very helpful with any of our needs. The property overall is always kept comfortably clean.

Kenny and Tara were amazing! It wouldn't have been possible for me and my wife to move 900 miles away if it wasn't for them. They made the process a breeze and we absolutely love our place. You can tell they really care about their tenants and their property. Dont hesitate to move here, the ponds are gorgeous and the apartments are just as great!

Cool place to live and maintenance seems responsive as well as the leasing office. Kenny is very helpful as well. Things I would consider before moving here is sewer and the water bill is really high because they don’t sub meter they divide the water and sewer usage between number of occupants in a unit and the rest of the complex. So between the two of us it’s 103 bucks every month despite how little we use. And appliances a little outdated for what you’ll pay.

Lived here for 10 months and had a great experience! The office team is very responsive and caring, and any maintenance issues were resolved quickly. The amenities are great and they host events that are fun and inclusive for guests. They really care about keeping the property in good shape and I always felt safe while living there.

Had very overally noisy tentants above me my last year there. The staffing office did absolutely nothing about it even aftee numerous complaint to them. Also, had two water damage incidents which my personal belongings got damaged. Would not recommend to anyone.

These people are amazing I can already tell on day one that they really care about their people who rent from them. Also a personal shout-out to Kenny Korber. He especially makes you feel right at home and treats you like family. If you looking for an area to rent with a trustworthy community, this is the place!

If you need a budget place in a nice community and value shaded walks with a 1/2 mile track that goes around the complex this may be the place for you. I'd give it 3 stars if it wasn't for Lacey and office staff. Responsive, welcoming. I've never had anything taken. I'd give them 5 stars if the main road is fixed with potholes and community center repaired. Great value if it's fixed. The pool is one of the best around.

A true place to call home, they don't come like this very often anymore. I've lived here twice in total. The management team is phenomenal, and any issues that arose over the course of my tenancy was addressed properly and in a timely fashion. The community is quiet, wholesome, friendly, I could go on. If I didn't snag an opportunity to buy a home I never would move out. Most affordable in St Charles County, quality, friendly, safe. Thank you for everything

So far the management has been amazing, Kenny has been an incredible help, from answering any question we might have in a timely manner to just being extremely friendly.

We lived here for 6 years and never had a single issue. The staff are phenomenal and will listen to anything you have to say. The maintenance staff are very prompt to get anything back up and running. Would definitely recommend you give this apartment complex a shot!

The staff is very friendly ,yet professional. Its a nice area to live. When you have an issue, they are quick to work with you to resove it. My apartment is a cute layout . Also community events are scheduled at times.

We moved in about 2 months ago and we couldn't be happier with the apartment, the staff, and the amenities. We want to give a big shout-out to Kenny who helped us with any questions we had and made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend the complex to anyone looking for a beautiful and affordable apartment complex.

I am new to Cedar Lakes Apartments and am very happy to call this community home. Kenny and the office staff have been amazing! Kenny and Tara both worked very hard to get me into a beautiful apartment that best fit my needs and wants and so far their efforts have led to great success and much happiness! They are very responsive and want to make sure you are happy and enjoying your experience here at Cedar Lakes. The property is really well maintained and they work very hard to keep it that way. Their maintenance staff is very responsive day and night which is awesome! There is a lot to do within the complex which is great. I have only lived here for two months but it truly feels like home already! I would highly recommend Cedar Lakes to anyone looking for a new apartment in this area!

The place is terrible, they force you to stay and automatically renew your contract. They lie about the cost of the apartment They charge you for utilities that they never provide you They don't have any laundry service In winter the heater broke down and it took 3 weeks to fix it and I was without heat for those 3 weeks The service of the people in the office is disastrous, they are unprofessional and rude. They are there to help not to be rude and they are not helpful at all Zero recommended, never think about moving here, terrible service All important communications are only placed at your door and sometimes they never reach you unprofessional
