Can't even give one star, but I have to for a review to posted. Truth is, guests who stay at the hotel are usually from out of town, right? But the front desk clerks are so freaked out about "out of staters bringing Covid", that they can't have a person with a mask sit in the lobby to wait for a friend to come down from their hotel room. Absolutely the rudest, most freaked out set of ladies you ever did see. "You can't be in here!" they said. "No congregating in the lobbyyyyyyeeeee!" they said to one local man. With a mask on. By himself. Unbelievable. Shut your place down if you cannot be decent to folks. Embarrassed that this happened in my beloved Montana. Sorry place.

Clean, quiet, basic needs met. When we checked in there was only one young lady cleaning rooms and checking people in. This young lady was overwhelmed but she pulled it off. I commend her for her professionalism and initiative. You were amazing that day young lady!! Especially with the whole motel being over run with wedding attendees.

Advertised continental breakfast included a couple containers of cereal and no milk in the fridge. Luckily it was attached to a gas station, so we were able to buy breakfast. The rooms were small, and the bathroom even smaller. Found a living spider in the bathroom. The shower was horrible - glad to get out of there to take a real shower at our next stop. Would not recommend for more than 2 people in the room.

One of our usual stops. A quiet area, out of the way of Helena. Good rooms with a nice long counter for all your stuff. A basic breakfast, but enough to get us on the road. We left some items there and they were able to mail them back to us.

Horrible experience. Checked out early..it was 53° raining and windy with these window a.c. units in windows,the weather was coming in. It was freezing!! Yhe General manager Shawn, said the broiler was off for the season,she wasn't willingto get or give me a little space heater and no discounts were offered. I was offered a different room,but when i asked about the heat,i was told the whole place had none. Not happy.

I booked 2 rooms, and have 2 children 10&13 traveling with myself and a family friend. They advertise heat..there is NONE !! Also they have window air conditioning units that have thin boards around that light and wind were coming thru very good..not properly sealed. I was told by the assistant manager that the broiler system has been turned off for the season. We booked for 3 nights. . It was raining, cold at nite 53° when we were there. I grew up in Montana,very rustic..but didn't want to camp being it is just to cold for my kids. So got a room. When i told management about it,he offered to put me in another room..i asked if there was heat in that one,thats when i was informed there is no heat in the entire Inn . I asked him to call the General manager and ask what could be done..space heater etc. He came back and said he was told there is to be NOTHING done. To "buck up ,this is Montana " ( i was standing in front of the assistant manager when he called the General manager and heard her on the other end, the assistant manager was very apologetic and looked embarrassed amd HORRIFIED he had to tell me . . . )like i said i was raised here,in Florence with no heater,wood burning stove. Also i am PAYING for the luxury of heat and running water etc. ALL of which are advertised as part of the accommodations. When i checked out in the morning,freezing cold..i was given nothing off the rates..not even an apology..just told by Shawn the GM.. that thats the way it is and tough. I was even shorted the coin change for the refunded 2 nights...i paid in full, cash upon check in. They almost didn't let me leave with the refunded remaining time..NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE!! 0 stars..horrible .

I would not recommend this hotel. The water didn't work in our shower. They did not offer to reimburse for our inconvenience of moving to another room. Service is not good. Staff seems to "hangout" in store area. Stains on floors. Does not appear to be maintained or kept up.

Unless you like smelly rooms, dirty carpets, non working heaters, dirty sinks, RUDE employees and rock hard beds don't stay here. This hotel makes the motel 6 look good. It's old and very ran down, they called the room I stayed in the "new building" there was nothing new in the room other than the tv.
