Very nice place in the midfle of nowhere. Food almost can not be better. The chief looks very kind. The menu lack on vegan dishes but you dont want meat you can still eat there.

Valley of Ricote's jewel Very good restaurant. The atmosphere is awesome and the service is unbeatable. It is specially located on the top of a mountain and it is a long drive, but it is really worth. There is a parking site in front of the restaurant. Regarding the food, it has an incredible quality and they have a lot of variety. There are both tapas and dishes, so it has affordable options. You must go at least one, it will not disappoint! 😀

To arrive here you pass through lemon trees and tiny villages. You doubt google is right; all you see are silent and flowery (it's spring!) narrow roads. Then you arrive at the restaurant, with views towards the hillside and start deciphering the menu...the service is very helpful, so don't hesitate to say what you like and may not like. It's unpretentious, yet very surprising to the palate; a tapa after another and you risk not to have enough space for desert! worth every and each slope and u-turns from the main road...!

Great restaurant and service. Unexpected place in a not very well know but beautiful location. Beautiful starters. Interesting "matured" beef. Worth visiting.

The food was absolutely amazing, the waiter more than friendly. We didn't expect such a good restaurant in a little village.. definitely worth going there!! We tried the degustation and it was absolutely worth it!!

Fabulous restaurant in lovely valley town of Ricote. Wine was lush at 23 euros a bottle, service fantastic. Ate (jowl?) tortillas with a tart accompaniment, foie gras in date sauce with pistachio served with a surprise shot glass of sweet sparkling wine, amazing phaesant empanada and a murcian delicacy of pork on puff pastry with hollendaise. The venison steaks with (sweet red wine) fondillon sauce were very tasty if cut too much on the thin side (something they do alot here regrettably). Desert was lovely too, I can't remember the name but almond paste base with a mouse almost coffee but not and not too sweet.! I will definitely return. 120 euros for 2 of us

The main course (game) was really good, the starters fell short of what we expected and what we paid for.

Delicious food at a fraction of what you’d pay in most cities worldwide for the quality. Highly recommend a visit. Service was good but not overly friendly but our Spanish is pretty bad so that played a part. Decor is a little formal and stuffy, maybe it’s nicer at night and more ambience when busier. However, the food is worth a visit, everything was incredible, very rich flavours. Too full for a dessert!

Will come back. Some delicious tapas, chuleta de vaca was best of the best. Take your time to also visit the villages nearby in the Segura valley. Perfect day trip.
