Excellent food and service and very good knowledge of South Indian food culture. I wish they had a branch in Göteborg.

Our dinner at The South Indian was such a delightful experience! The dosas were freshly made, the curries were tasteful and our waiter Prabu was attentive and helpful in recommending us what to order from the big menu - thank you for a nice evening, we will be back 🍀

Very very good food and music. Felt like we were at home. Daniel is very friendly and gives good tips on food and on where to go around in Helsingborg. Daniel, if you are reading this, thank you for the recommendation to go to Kullaberg. It was beautiful and we got to attend the Valborg festival in Mölle with very friendly locals.

Excellent food. An authentic south indian restaurant. Vadai and idli are too good. Coconut flavour in paneer kulambu is tasty. Mango lassi reminds me all the good times of eating mango. Prices are average for the food. You could enjoy more if you share your food among friends and order different dishes.

Delicious food.. we ordered paneer masala, veg kothu paratha, vendakai masala and biryani.. everything was delicious. Both quantity and quality was super and they also customized the dishes as per our taste. The curry was spicy as requested. The manager over there was kind and friendly and took good care of us.

My cousin took me to the place and we all enjoyed the food. Authentic and perfect South Indian food. The staff is very nice as well

Great location, authentic South Indian food. Apart from the traditional dishes, I do recommend to try the curd rice. Will definitely visit again. Their pickles are too good as well.

Absolutely fantastic food, nice service and reasonable prices. The waiter met us as we were the best visitors and was super nice and polite to us, also answered all the questions about the menu and recommended a very tasty bread.

A nice restaurant focusing, like the name implies, on Indian food. If what this place is offering is typical for the southern part of the country, I can not tell. Overall the dishes are similar to what you would expect from most Indian restaurants in Sweden. But there a few less common options as well. Small place with an odd floor plan, but well kept and overall a nice and quiet environment. It wasn’t crowded when I visited though. Service was pretty fast and in English. The woman who took our order genuinely has her roots in India. The food was served on bowls, looked a bit boring but tasted really well. Tender chicken pieces, well made rice and the bread was good too. Not very spicy, but I did go medium on the heat. They can boost the strength if you want to feel alive! They’ll ask you. Recommended if you want good Indian food in Helsingborg.

Visited this since their branch in Stockholm was good!! Food taste was ok and not as good as stockholm branch! Tried chicken kothu parotta , omelette and dosa!! Dosa and omelette tast was ok!! Chicken kothu parotta was not even average taste!! Expecting the better taste during my next visit! Price is reasonable! Located close to the city centrum! Hospitality was nice!

We had some lovely Chettinad style cuisine. The menu was also diverse. It's a definite recommendation for anyone wishing to fulfil their taste buds with authentic South Indian food.

So many types of dosas. Tasty South Indian food. Friendly staff and great service. My personal favourite is paneer dosa, Vadai , veg kotthu parotta, filter coffee and mango lassi. Ambience is cozy.

This restaurant serves a lot of south Indian dishes usually not found in Indian restaurants, such as dosa, sambar, and breakfast idly! Great menu with lots of different dishes. Manager is very friendly and helpful.

It's a WOW experience for Indians to have their authentic taste of chettinad food style. Danny,the owner was awesome and very kindful. The staff at restaurant are so polite and served food with love. We opted the South Indian Helsingborg catering for birthday party. It was a seamless experience. The food was very tasty, all guests were so happy. They were on-time, friendly catering team, professional, reasonable pricing. I am recommending them very comfortably, from the starter to the dessert the quality , quantity and tastes of everything was outstanding, Service was delightful and very professional.
