Ihana bed and breakfast

We were lucky to enjoy a week at the magical Veikkolan Kartano. The countryside setting is spectacular - you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city - and yet it is conveniently located to Helsinki and many other points of interest. Henrikki, the friendly host, lives on site and is super helpful with recommendations. The home is a living museum, full of family history and carefully curated treasures. You can’t beat the sweeping views over the landscape and down to the lake. The rooms worked perfectly for our family of four, including two teenagers. We even had the opportunity to use the beautiful sauna one day! A wonderfully unique place to spend time in the Finnish countryside. We will be back!
