Delicious home style meals. Tried the fresh baked cinnamon roll and it is amazing. It is soft, warm, doughy and the pad of butter just sends it to another level. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak and eggs which was full of flavor and cooked perfectly with the best crunch. The gravy was good, could use a bit more meat flavor. Coffee was delicious and paired amazingly well with the cinnamon roll.

I felt as though I'd gone back to a gentler time when you are truly "served with a smile". This is a place to bring your kids to see carousel horses from back in the day. The staff were amazing! Our waitress and the gentleman who brought our after meal desserts were friendly and kind with great smiles! And the food was fantastic, and when we paid our bill, the cashier was so sweet, laughing and chatting with us like a friend. Please try this place at least once, and you'll find yourself returning again, and again. Thank you to all!

We came here to support local business instead of big corporate America. Came with family and it was busier than usual due to father's day. The line was incredibly long and it was a 45min wait time before my party was seated. The food itself was great. Everyone in my party had their food be on point. The staff, despite being understaffed for such a busy day were quick and accurate with all of my party's orders.

You don’t ever find a place that is original as this and it’s also very refreshing to know that there is something that is extraordinary. Chain restaurants out there are boring. Mom & Pop places like this should be supported. This is the American Dream, so support it. You all are wonderful.

What a delightful down home country cooking restaurant. Place is filled with nostalgic items. Waitress LORI was very nice and helpful with the wide choice menu. JAIME though not our server was super nice and attentive. As a first time visitor I will definitely go back...so many things to try. Great bakery too.

Okay this place was so delicious, the price can be a little high, depending on what you order, like my malt that was $6.99 and one coffee for $3.99, but the portions of food are huge, the coffee is all you can drink and the malt was so much so overall it makes up for it. Try the chicken fried steak, it's so yummy. It's a nice little place, I felt like I was in a western movie vintage diner! I went twice in my 2022 California Vacay!

My best friend and I stopped in for lunchtime, and let me tell you, we had the best Waitress, Karen, a total Doll. The food was Great and the experience was perfect. It's a Def must go back spot and Worth the drive. Thank You Karen 😊

Great service! I got the home fries, French toast and scrambled eggs with onions and cheese mixed in. Everything was tasty! Home fries has some seasoning (Lawry's) to give them flavor with green onions mixed in. French toast was fluffy and tasty with a nice amount of butter on top. Eggs were fluffy as well. Nice down home southern charm here and I'd come back in a HEARTBEAT!

Place was heaving for breakfast this morning, as I was on my own I took a seat at the counter. Eggs Benedict were really good, great coffee that was topped up frequently and good service!

Firstimers in this place food is great services needs improvement,I had to constantly remind them of water and other items ,overall it’s a great place.

9.29.21 - Ate here today for breakfast and the food and service were phenomenal! The waitress was the most attentive and kindest person. The steak omelet was perfect. The bacon was nice and crispy. The hashbrowns were crispy the way we requested. Coffee was mediocre though.

Family owned and operated! A long time favorite of ours as they have been in business for about 40 years!! We stopped by this morning for breakfast and they were very busy. The wait for a table for 4 people was only about 15 minutes and the food came out very fast and HOT!! The portions are very generous and everything is scratch made to order! My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs! YUM! They have many different flavors of fresh pie and their cinnamon rolls are fresh baked the size of a small dinner plate with lots of gooey icing! Highly recommend this little gem!!

This place use to be the place to go. But after today I will not recommend this restaurant. Service was unacceptable, food mediocre atmosphere could use an update. I ordered a turkey bacon avocado croissant. And what I got was bread & turkey bacon. Fries are still frozen inside. So disappointing 😞

Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. I stopped here for breakfast three times and I am always impressed by the food and customer service.

My wife and I ended up there on Mother's day by accident. We were heading towards Palm Springs to celebrate. We stopped to eat and hostess and waitress were excellent. They were very friendly and inviting 5 stars to them. When the food arrived my wife and I got disappointed. We knew something was going wrong when the entire order arrived at the same time. The salad and soup were delicious but the fried steak and gravy were cold. The cook does not make the food as ordered it had to be sitting there for a while. Grandma is not going to see back. VERY DISAPPOINTED. 🤮

Came here about 11ish on a Saturday, after a morning at the outlets. Wait was short, staff were very friendly. This place is cute, and looks like someone’s grandmas house!!!! Food was good, portions were big. Loved the bread pudding. Definitely would come back here and try the rest of their menu items and banana nut bread, looks so good but too full to try!

Awesome place to stop by on the way out to or coming from LA, out to Joshua Tree. We stopped there on our way back from a great weekend in 29 Palms. Food was fantastic - biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, the whole 9 yards. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. It's a restaurant that harkens back to yesteryear for sure, but the quality and the service actually stand up. Love this place and I have good memories there.

Back for second time and Becky’s service and food are consistently great! Strongly recommend the four berry pie!! // Short wait, generous portions, great food and excellent service. The kids love the grandma theme, sewing machine, telephone, and especially the food! I can’t wait to be back to try the pie. First time eating here. The food was good, I only tried the chicken fried chicken, mash potatoes with some bread. Maybe a 5 star if I try another meal. You can order breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. The people there were very polite and always asked if we needed anything. I would say give it a try and see what you like and see what you think.
