Ordered two gyros and one chef salad.. The salad was great and the gyros were HORRIBLE!! We asked for just onions and white sauce on the side.. Got a pita overly filled with lettuce (didn't ask for) NO onions and the meat was burnt!! Absolutely horrible for the price that they are!! That's it for us.. Lost a good customer!! Shame you're right down the block too..

We order from Gyros and Heros regularly. They have exceptional customer service, delivery, and quality! We love the gyros , onion rings, and sweet potatoes! The food is not too salty and it’s warm and delicious every time. The price is reasonable as well. We highly recommend this place.

This review is way overdue. Every time we've ever ordered, the food is consistently delicious and the portions are generous. Ordered two platters. Gyro Chicken was delicious as always, and my friend liked the lamb a lot. the platter may seem a little overpriced, but still delish, and will be two meals for me! Might try something else from the menu next time.

Been going here for years even though I no longer live in Bellmore,I always stop in for a Large Greek Salad with grilled chicken!! Absolutely the best could eat this almost every day! Also Highly recommend Lentil soup only wish they put beef in it!! Chicken noodle also great! Cindy the owner and staff super nice people....

All of their food is delicious. I love their classic Greek gyro. The workers are pleasant and sweet. However I wanted to discuss the fries. Their fries are uniquely delicious and can easily rival the fries from most fast food chains, family and fine dining restaurants. The texture is unique...almost like a tempura fry. I cook and I don't even know how I would replicate it. I wish "Insider Foods" YouTube channel would do a video on these. It is probably the only fries I can buy/eat without adding anything to it...no additional salt or seasonings. I like my fries while I drink a shake, so I usually have a shake with them but they are delicious and the world should know about them and try them and post about it.

I go out of my way for G & H’s perfect Greek salad and avgolemono! Always so comforting and you’re given service w a smile each time you walk in. Their dressing is v different and so tasty!

Just got a delivery order, which was very prompt, but the meat on the gyro sandwich is cold (refrigerator cold) and I didn’t receive any pita with my spicy feta order. Disappointed.

Ordered on Grubhub, food was really good but I asked for extra sauce and they didn’t include it… and they gave me marinara sauce to go with my gyro?? Besides the sauce situation I have no complaints..

This is got to be the worst place I had a gyro and falafel from the gyro meat was cold, and I mean cold! Plus they gave a lot of lettuce, the sandwich were completely wrapped wrong and a mess ugh like why does this place have a 4.4 ??? They should send some health inspectors here and shut it down . If I get sick I’m suing 😠😑

Food is fresh. I get Greek salads weekly, picked up. When I get fries they don’t make it home!!! Love that place. Accommodating ❤️

Used to be reall good with old owners now it is bad. The gyro was burnt meat, the pita was burnt toast could not roll it up, and it was cold like it was sitting fo a couple hours. Will not return.

Came by to pick up some sandwiches to bring to a park this past weekend. Food was surprisingly amazing! Generous portion.

Picked up lunch for the first time. My panini was flavorless and missing avocado, husbands sandwich had less meat than you’d get on a subway sandwich - virtually meatless. Kids grilled cheese was good though.

I've been a regular customer for over a year now. We order Greek at least once a week and it's always satisfying! We always order for delivery and our order is always correct and on time. Their food is simply delicious (and I'm a very picky eater). Even my kids (2 and 5) beg me to order from this place. I have been going to Gyros & Heros for years and have noticed that the quality has been slipping the past years. I get it with COVID-19 and all many restaurants have been skimping here and there. But today I was very disappointed to find out that the large Greek salad I ordered with slices of gyro and falafel ( at $6 each ) was missing the gyro slices. The Salad was busting out of the tray but it was mostly iceberg lettuce and a few pieces of feta cheese. *** CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING THIS PLACE.!

Very disappointed in my water usually this place is pretty good ordered two BLTs both came with tomato chunks instead of sliced tomato the bacon was dry crispy and burnt I ordered two iced teas got one and got charged for two extremely disappointed in this I'd give it no stars for this one but at least it came here hot

My father, brother and I order from this place almost every weekend. Absolutely delicious, and cheap for the portion you get in my personal opinion. The last place that impressed me this much was in oceanside and they charged almost 16$ per gyro

Since discovering this small very capable gem. We have ordered at least once a week for take out. They do diner, they do greek, they do burgers, they do wings REALLY WELL. I look forward to next week and our next opportunity to order from Gyros & Heros.

Delicious. It tasted like home cooked Greek food. The portion size were large. My leftover tasted even better the next day. I would definitely go back.

Excellent quality food. Nice portions. I ordered a chicken gyro lunch and it came with a nice size Greek salad and grilled veggies. The options for sides are nice. The sweet potato fries were really good also. Get the honey mustard to dip it in.
