Update 6/12/2023 Another great breakfast with Mom. Everything was fantastic. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I was surprised that the service was so good today, considering we came later than our usual time and got caught up in the lunch crowd. The lot was practically full with just a couple of spots available. Ous server was attentive and polite. He checked on us several times throughout our meal. Meanwhile, the bus staff repeatedly filled out water and coffee. Great job all! Extra tip today$$ Thanks for the great experiece. Update 3/29/2023 Another great breakfast at Carle Place Diner. Great service. Wait staff and bussers were on point. Food was great. The dessert was perfect. Kudos all. We will be back Update 12/16/2022 Another great breakfast today with mom. Great food, great service. We enjoyed everything. Keep up the great work. My mom loves when we take her out for breakfast or lunch. The Carle Place Diner has become our "go-to" spot due to location, service, variety and quality. There is something for everyone. When mom is happy we are happy. Keep up the good work. We'll be back.

Food was good but the service was horrible, the waiter ignored us the entire time I had to look for him and he kept checking on every table near us multiple times but not once did he check to make sure we were ok. Then I spoke to the manager and he was like speak to him and pushed me off to another manager who basically made excuses as to why me and my party was being ignored. Then to make things worse when my husband was eating his burger it was raw he told the waiter he wanted well done. When I complained about this the waiter pretty much roll his eyes and said we will take it off the bill like the audacity that we had to deal with so much to just have a nice breakfast. Horrible experience!

Stopped here recently for the first time while shopping in the area. The food was really good. Burger was fantastic, flame-grilled, and cooked exactly as I wanted it. The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well. Staff was friendly and attentive, and the price was right.

Good place to get a bite to eat. Typical diner fare, breakfast stuff,sandwiches and dinner entrees. Nice people as far as waitstaff goes. A plus is there is a parking lot. Enjoy!

I hadn't been to this diner for many years. Last time I was there it wasn't a good experience. I was in the area yesterday and went in for breakfast. Ordered the french toast with bacon. The french toast was dry and tasteless. Fortunately there was plenty of syrup to give it some taste and moisture. The bacon was OK. I won't return.

I haven't been to the Carle Place Diner in years. I was very happy we decided to grab lunch there. Everything was great, the price was fair, and the service was awesome! Next time I'm getting one of those yummy looking pastry too!

Classic diner with great breakfast/brunch. Food is pretty good with large portion sizes. This is one of the larger diners in the area, so it's a bit easier to get seating/parking during a peak weekend time.

Had the Challah French toast - not great. Wasn’t terrible but also not worth finishing my plate. Kind of dry. The waitress also recommended the carrot cake so we got some. IT WAS AWFUL. The cake was dry as can be. The frosting was waxy. Don’t be fooled by the cake display - might look good but taste just as bad.

The poached eggs were almost completely done. This is okay cause the service was fantastic. Very diner need to season food to your taste.

The food was good. Service was good. It's a great option for a slightly late meal. Decent amount of parking and the tables are spacious for a diner.

The food and service were ok. It's when the bill came that things went wrong. My family was charged over $41.00 for 2 orders of chicken fingers and fries. I understand inflation is still high but that was ridiculous. We asked how they came to that price and they said they charged us individually for each item. I don't recall seeing those prices on the menu. My husband didn't want to get into an argument and paid the price but I felt duped. Please be careful when ordering items. Ask and confirm all prices before ordering. Don't be like us. Don't see myself returning here in the future. ☹️

let’s start with the service atmosphere presentation was great coffee was amazing but I ordered honey turkey deluxe. It was a cold sandwich they brought it I was very excited because I was very hungry. This was December 6, 2023. As I was eating a sandwich, I realize the taste was off so I had my wife also tasted it I eat honey turkey all the time that’s my go to sandwich so i Stopped and I went to smell it. The meat was spoiled, it’s smelled sour. Instantly called the waiter, and he took the plate back Once I got to the parking lot i threw up The rest of the day my stomach was wishy-washy. I couldn’t eat anything, and I started to have really bad cramps, so I went to the hospital and I had him food poisoning because the meat was sour. So please be very careful what you eat there and please smell your food before

Pretty, clean-looking, fast diner. Server was very kind. But are they even using real eggs? To-go omelet looked and tasted like an overdone crepe; almost no resemblance to actual eggs. Feta was too much, too salty, potatoes soggy. Was looking forward to this meal, but ended up tossing most of it. Cakes and pastries on display looked great -- thinking that might have been a better choice.

A diner where has a jukebox on a table?! I fell in love with this cute retro vibe joint - fast service, friendly staffs and delicious food. Add extra cheese on your omelette, you will like it even more!

Just had a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries w/gravy and it was delicious!!! Tasty, cooked just the way I wanted it! Staff very friendly! Friend had breakfast food and said it was delicious!!

The Carle Place Diner is a bit of a throwback to the diners of 30 years ago. Family run, better than mediocre food but the staff was patient, friendly and responsive. I usually don't expect much from diners because of their nature; the menus are always too big, the place has too many customers. Carle Place Diner survives even post pandemic still even a bit better than before, and good for them. Their fried chicken is freshly made and not frozen. I do believe they need to work on their fries a bit as they get too soggy too fast (double-fry will fix that). Their burgers are big and plentiful. They serve the classic slaw and pickles and their silver dollar pancakes are a bit more than a silver dollar. I decided to try their Cheesesteak egg roll just to see if it was worth the ten bucks and honestly it's pretty impressive!

We drive out of our way to come here! Very good service, friendly, fair prices , quality food!! Best muffins anywhere. Great all around!!!

Clean and friendly staff. The food was good . My wife and I were surprised at how much food was served, and the price was very reasonable. Even took home doggie bags

Very good customer service. I felt welcomed. My food was good: bison burger was not dry and neither were the fries. The side greek salad was fresh as well.

I really love coming here, the service is warm and the food is delicious and certainly fresh. They have different meals daily, and everything sounds delicious. I come for breakfast but, next time I want to try the skirt steak tacos, yummy. The pancakes are super delicious with a fresh vanilla after taste that is so addictive and not overly sweet.

Food was average at best, the gravy and iced tea had almost no taste. I had asked if they had fresh brewed iced tea and I was told yes, when I received it it was obviously from The fountain and not fresh brewed. The only positive thing about the establishment was that the table and waiter service was very attentive and very good but food-wise there is no reason to go back

Just had the most glorious plate of French toast with the most perfectly cooked bacon ❤️ The staff is SO delightful! I throughly enjoyed my meal and my experience. Such a joyous place, and the food was so fresh. Highly recommend!

Recently went here, and of course I had to get the twin cheeseburgers. The overall experience was fine, with the atmosphere of a typical diner. Food was decent and so are the prices.

If you like that old style atmosphere from a real Diner then you've come to the right place. Been here a few times and I really enjoyed myself and the food. Just one concern and that is the parking lot size. I guess a whole Lotta other people feel like I do and wanna eat here too so dont expect to arrive and find an empty lot.

Overall, the food was okay. The kids food was good, but my main dish (meatloaf), was dried out and smothered in gravy to cover it up. It wasn't terrible, but would not suggest it. Service was outstanding and they were very accommodating and helpful, I was alone with 3 of my 5 children.

I've been on an eggs benedict kick lately, and stopped at the diner for their take on my favorite breakfast. This time, however, I substituted the traditional Canadian bacon with fresh avocado. It was tasty and hit the spot. The only negatives were that the egg was a tad under-poached, and the waiter didn't check to ask if I wanted a coffee refill.

Very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Great service and delicious breakfast foods. The coffee is hit and fresh. I often get their pancakes regularly, and I appreciate that the syrup is bottle fresh and not packets!
