Our waitress was so nice. The burger was very good. So was the spicy fried chicken. I wish the chicken was dark meat. Not sure if you have a choice of white meat or dark meat. The broccoli and the yams were so good. The atmosphere was really nice. It has that old timey feeling. We will be back.

Great breakfast, I’ll have to visit for lunch. Got the Spanish Omelette and I loved it. Made my head tingle the right amount. Actually I’d rate a bit better than the Fiesta Omelette at Waffle House. The Biscuits and Gravy had just the right amount of sausage and just a hint of sweet. Maybe sugar cured pork in the sausage. Not the fastest but worth the wait. Kid friendly. My partner enjoyed the coloring books and crayons. I’ll be back.

The food was phenomenal. We started with the chocolate pie and a cherry cobbler so we didn't accidentally run out of room. I had the lunch plate of one meat and three sides. It was so good and portion sizes were perfect. The rest of my party had breakfast and they enjoyed it. The sweet tea was on point! Also the ladies were delightful & so helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Will absolutely visit when we're in town again.

REALLY cute Southern diner. The people are friendly and the food is tasty. We were in Nashville for a concert and wanted to try somewhere local. We couldn't get going in time to get there for breakfast on Sunday so we had lunch food. Both of us had the fried chicken which was tasty. The portion sizes were modest but very tasty. I realized I actually like turnip greens, and okra and tomatoes. Surprising, for this ex-pat Brit 😁 They also gave out little pieces of strawberry cake with jelly beans as a Happy Easter treat 💕

The breakfast food really wasn’t our favorite but it was okay! We had a great waitress named Kathy. The vibes here are amazing and it’s super cute. Will definitely be back and try something else. Overall I would definitely recommend this place!

Loved my waitress Becky 😁 And she kept the coffee cup filled. The Classic Country diner atmosphere was met👍🏼 Re the food... I'm spoiled I'll admit 😔 I have a favorite go to breakfast place in Birmingham which serves the thick yellow grits I prefer. They over easy egg was good, the bacon was a little crisp for my taste ... the biscuits must have been good because I ate them all 🤣 I am looking forward to trying lunch next week!

The best meat and 3 in the area hands down. Great little community too. Wonderful staff and excellent food. Cannot say enough good about it!

Amazing food, great prices, people are amazing!

The food was really good and the service as well. I got the stuffed bacon burger with everything and it was absolutely delicious. The fries are hand cut and you can salt tot taste recommended to try out it was busy because the food is good!

We try Ruby's again since we hadn't been there in several years. Today was slightly better. At least the food was eatable this time. The biscuits were worse than any I have had from a restaurant. They were over cooked, but then I think put in a warmer to keep them from getting cold. One was a little wet from the steam keeping them warm. They were as flat as pancakes.The gravy had a very strong sage flavor that almost made it more than you could eat. The bacon and egg sandwich was ok. We ordered it with tomato, which added much needed moisture to the sandwich. The bacon was ok, but a good flavor. The Western Omelette was the best part of the breakfast and is why the rating is a 3 star and not worse. It was loaded with plenty of bacon, ham and sauage. The eggs were slightly overcooked, but not enough to overpower the meat flavor. The service was ok. We never offered refills on our drinks. This will be the last attempt for breakfast at Ruby's. Ordered eggs sunnyside up with sausage patties. The eggs were cooked almost well done with the white so hard I had to cut almost an inch all the way around off to eat them. The grill was too hot causing the bottom of the eggs to be scorched. The sausage patties were as hard. They looked and tasted like they had been cook early that morning and put on the back of the grill to keep them warm.
