My husband and I just got our first pet (A kitten) from a rescue and wanted to find a vet near our house to check on her, make sure she was doing fine .. etc. The staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They shared advice, asked questions about our kitten’s past. They are just so nice, friendly, professional and really made us feel like our kitten was in good hands…. and she was. It also looks clean which made me feel comfortable as well. I am so happy we have such a nice vet located down the street from us. Photos after the vet, our kitten felt just fine even after getting her ears cleaned haha. Highly recommend!!

My cat and I had a great experience during our first visit to Virginia Beach Veterinary Hospital. The staff is friendly. Dr. Baker is kind and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help us. It is obvious that he is passionate as a veterinarian. Both my cat and I felt very welcome, and I noticed my cat felt pretty “at home” despite being at a vet which I believe is due to the positive environment.

Check in went quick and 5 min later my pet was seen. The Veterinarian was calm and gentle with my dog. He gave me good advice. The place is clean and staff very nice. I go there since 10 years and never had a problem. All my pets had been treated so good. I even used their boarding service and it gave me comfort, knowing they are in a safe place.

My visit was perfect. My dog Charlie was treated like a king! The vet listened to ALL of my concerns and instead of just telling me what she was going to do, she discussed options with me. He became very nervous/reactive when getting his vaccines but they handled him with kindness & care. I had to wait for medication after his appointment & all the staff ensured that I received the medication immediately when it was ready. Without asking, they provided me with a full written report of his visit for my records. Charlie was very happy to receive all the loving & treats from the staff.

Dr Baker and all the staff were excellent to work with. Dr. Baker took a lot of time to get to know us and our two dogs and their issues. We never felt rushed to cover everything about our dogs. We highly recommend their practice.

Friendly, professional staff! Wonderful vet! I arrived a little early for my dog’s appointment but never expected we’d be seen any earlier than scheduled time, but we were! The assistants were all compassionate and made my nervous dog feel comfortable. Great experience all around.

Everyone was great. My dog wasn't acting like himself and even though they were at capacity they allowed me to bring him in for triage. Luckily his vitals were good. They trimmed his nails and told me if he wasn't better by the morning to call them to schedule a visit.

I Love Dr. Baker and how he treated Riley on an emergency basis. All the staff is exceptionally warm & pleasant. It took me 2 other vets until i found Va Beach Veterinary Hospital. It is now our vet home ❤️

I have 3 toy poodles and have been seeing Dr. Baker and his staff for a long time. Dr. Baker is always smiling and patient with me and my girls. I know there are a lot of great vets out there but I trust Dr. Baker and his staff.

Been bringing my fur babies here for a few years now and have always had a great experience. The Doctors are all very knowledgeable and compassionate. The front staff is amazing! They're very professional, kind, and knowledgeable as well. The facility itself is always super clean and well taken care of. I appreciate and recommend everything about this vet hospital.

Dr. Baker saved my cats life. Without his care, attention to detail and thorough examination, Hamlet would have died. He was able to conclude that my cat needed a blood transfusion as soon as humanly possible. His team did everything they could to find a place close by that could provide blood, they lead us to The Cove in Suffolk and they took great care of him. Because of their quick response, he is expected to live a long, healthy life. I will be forever indebted to Dr. Baker and his team at VBVH. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The staff was amazing. So nice and friendly and answered all the questions I had. The facility was clean and well organized. Being this is my first dog, I got amazing tips and information. Even showed me care of my dog instead of just telling me and sending me on my way. First time experience was awesome. I look forward to returning for future visits.

Everyone was so nice to my very excited Newfoundland! He enjoyed all of the attention. The doctor was knowledgeable and knew about the breed. Everyone took time to answer questions, help Franklin get comfortable in the office and make our time pleasant and enjoyable! I’m glad we finally found the right vet for my sweet boy!
