Okay do yourself a favor. Make sure you're paying attention. 1) Order delicious food from Smohk. 2) Bring it to Strangeways 3) Enjoy life. That's some great wisdom right here and it didn't cost you a thing. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fan taproom with plenty of great beer on tap.

Good beer. However, the cost for a single pint of beer is over 13 dollars. Be ware. Prices are not posted anywhere.

One of the biggest beer selections we have ever seen, all made in-house. The dark beer section alone is larger than some breweries entire selection. Did 10 samplings and every one were amazing, some of the best beers we have had. Loved the artsy interior. They have a patio area for those warm days. Nice staff. Only downside is they only have gas station type food, like nachos from a dispenser and large soft pretzels. Don’t worry there is a great barbecue place right nearby.

I really would like to give this place a higher rating. I really like the beer and the atmosphere. The outdoor area is cool to hang out and they have live music a lot but …. I just paid $53 for 4 beers (Three 20 oz and one 13 oz) ….. 4 beers. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews about the pricing.

Fun place in Richmond! Good beer, a funky vibe. Located in a great area with a lot going on. We really enjoyed our time here!

Most excellent selection of beers! Just one shy of 40 offerings! We had 10 of them. Absolutely loved 8 out of 10 we tried. The other two were still tasty. Particularly loved Gnar Shredder and Murder Hornet. Red Sangria is awesome, too. Check out the pictures. Pretty gnarly place and simply fun. Katy served us and she was a blast! Gotta love their motto - "Think strange. Drink strange."

The pretty basic beer house. They do have outside seating and are dog friendly but it's a little bit Bare Bones. Inside has adequate seating, reduced seating with the COVID situation. There is absolutely no food here but there is a barbecue place on the back side of the building if you get hungry. I found the beer to be quite good. I was able to find a couple beers that were very pleasant. The best part about the place was the staff was pretty good about service. They were friendly and welcoming and acted like they cared.

Funky brewery in Richmond! Cool spot with good selection of beers! Had the Murder Hornet new England ipa and Mug Shot coffee porter. Both were very good. Really nice selection of imperial sours!

We stopped in on a whim after leaving the arcade bar across the street. We were very pleasantly surprised, Stangeways Brewing has a Huge selection of beers on tap. The staff was awesome ! Enjoyed the fun Barbie themed sparkle beer 😁

Only thing this place needs is free popcorn. Continue to be a pioneer in Richmond. It’ll get your customers to drink more. ;)
