This is by far the worst apartment complex Iā€™ve ever lived at!!!!! Please do not more here! Itā€™s equivalent to the projects!!! On several occasions residence and there visitors cars have been broken into ( breaking car windows & stealing car parts). The appliance and the units do not function properly, the water pressure for the shower sucks & is very cold. My kitchen sink did not work properly only dispensing hot water. In my main bathroom the ceiling collapse due to a water leak and maintenance came in and just painted over the issue causing them to have to come out to fix the issue 4 TIMES and still didnā€™t resolve the issue! Not mention the leak over my bed in my room the wouldnā€™t fix. Maintenance was very negligent causing other maintenance issues in my apartment (which I would reach out and nothing would be done). There has been complaints about MOLD in servals of the units (the health department was called). The walls are super thin you can hear your Neighbors conversations. The rental office doesnā€™t answers the phone or emails!!!! I moved out 2 months ago and have let you receive my refund for my deposit. When I left the unit was in perfect and I asked to do a walkthrough before I left so I could make sure I received my deposit! They never answered my emails or calls! I go into the office today and then claim Iā€™m not receiving my full deposit back and canā€™t tell me why! Please donā€™t move here!!!

If I could give zero stars I would, simply a luxury ghetto is what port city is. When I first moved here as a first time apartment renter the process was quick and easy, I was excited. I got everything moved in and noticed my water pressure was really low like barely coming out and my ceiling in my bathroom looked like it will fall through at anytime. I made it noticeable to the rent office and thought it would be an easy fix... which was a mistake. I complained for a month and a half straight the water was so bad I couldn't even shower in it without it going completely out during my showers or washing dishes. I finally got tired and decided to move and break the lease. They did not make me sign any paperwork which I thought was strange but continued to move out. During my move out, I believe someone was painting for them on another floor but spilled a thing of paint on the first floor. Two weeks after moving I asked for a update on my deposit and they informed me my deposit was charged because paint which is crazy because it wasn't my paint and I stated to them to check the cameras! I am going to take it as a lost because obviously they need it more than me I will just take this as a lesson learned.

I have been a resident at Port City for two years, and unfortunately, my experience has not been the best. Initially, when I first looked at the apartments, I had high hopes for a great living experience, but that hasn't been the case. To begin with, there were delays in the move-in process. Despite being informed that the apartment would be ready for me to move in by September, I had to wait until November. This was an inconvenience that affected my plans and expectations. Throughout my first year of living here, I faced persistent issues with the water pressure. It was a recurring problem that lasted for most of the year, which was frustrating and inconvenient. One significant concern I have is the poor security in this community. In both my first and second year, there have been reported cases of car break-ins, smashed windows, and stolen car parts. Moreover, the main building doors do not lock properly, leaving the residents vulnerable to potential security threats. I have even witnessed homeless individuals occupying the stairwells in the early mornings, obstructing the way for residents, which further highlights the security issues. Another ongoing issue I've experienced is with the AC/heater unit. I have repeatedly submitted maintenance requests and put in tickets for this problem, but it remained unresolved for months. Only when I directly approached the maintenance staff during their break and inquired about it did the issue finally get addressed. Also resident would sometimes leave trash in hallways that can attract bugs and rodents. Additionally, I have consistently faced poor communication from the management team regarding even the simplest tasks. This lack of effective communication has added to the overall frustration and dissatisfaction with living in this community. It is disappointing because I believe that Port City has the potential to be a great place to live. However, for it to prosper, it needs a dedicated team that genuinely cares about the well-being of residents and a community where residents themselves respect and contribute positively to the overall environment. I hope that by sharing my experience, necessary improvements can be made to enhance the living conditions and overall satisfaction for residents at Port City.

I have been a resident of Port City for 4 years and by far I can say that it has truly been an experience. I am looking forward to more of the standards being upheld in the best interest of the residentā€™s needs and safety, also equality, diversity and awareness with upcoming projects. Special thanks to Shanee on the management staff for always handling business in a professional and timely manner.

I have been here for only two months in a half & day by day I lose all my sanity. On day three after signing my lease I noticed that there was an issue with roaches. First two weeks in I seen a mouse. Iā€™m appreciative of management getting pest control in the unit but I am in month two & I am still noticing mouse droppings all around the unit so my peace of mind is out the window. The pest control literally does the bare minimum hence the reason iā€™m still having the pest problem. Along with having pest I am still to this day without a mailbox key & have been calling and sent an email. I was told ā€œit takes a whileā€. I really wish I was able to have a better experience as a first time renter, I understand how resolving certain issues may take time but my hands are tied. If you are looking to move here understand you may not have the same issues. Just making you aware of potential problems.. I may just be a special case. *Update* They have since made things right within my home. Since iā€™ve been there everyone in the front rental office has been great to work with. They've been helpful & efficient with addressing my concerns.I understand a lot of things I experienced is out of their control. Maintenance and pest control has done a good job with taking care of my unit. I was finally able to get a mailbox key as well. Good job Port City thank you for making things right !

The leasing staff are the best ever! They provide world class customer service in every sense of the word. The apartments are a great value as well. I'd recommend making this place your new home!

Maintenance is great! Keno (think thatā€™s how you spell it) came by right away and replaced batteries in my smoke detector that had been a nuisance all weekend! He was friendly and precise!
