I walked in randomly and I'm not sure what is better the food or the customer service. Very tasty and fresh! I got the Pizza Bagel + it came with a bagel from Call Your Mother Deli - another local favorite.

Okay. Listen here. This place is WONDERFUL. I’ve never had a pizza this good. It’s really inexpensive for such high quality food and we have plans to bring family here when they visit from out of state. It’s interior is tiny but SOOO cute. We will be coming back to this place again. The sweet bar tender was very knowledgeable as well so don’t be afraid to ask questions. The whole staff seems to care about you and it feels really welcoming.

Had the Bentley. First time eating here. Good atmosphere. Really good food. Great service. The “seasonal flags” were a wee off-putting, but I survived:)

Thin-crust pizzas that are some of the best in DC! I would highly recommend the Lot, a pineapple pizza with chorizo and their delicious pineapple chups, which is similar to a pineapple chutney sauce. I also enjoyed their pulled pork empanadas and note that one can't mix and match flavors. They are all very affordable and each pizza can easily fill one person, but it might also be good to share 1 pizza per 2 people.

Came by here because I was looking for some good pre π day pizza and they didn't disappoint. I did the half Bentley half pepperoni. Had some pork empanadas and ended it with a la mode vanilla gelato and a cookie. Everything was amazing. Staff was awesome 5 out of 5

Amazing window seat with awesome empanadas, Penelope pizza, and a nice cold iPa. Couldn't get much better. Another satisfied customer :-)

You can try the lightest pizza crust you can imagine. The toppings are fresh a high quality. I would recommend this place to my friends and will come back again for more.

I read about how good their Pepperoni pizza was in a local news and decided to try it! It was as good as advertised for a simple Pepperoni pizza. The place itself was quite quaint and simple outside the giant swing facing the window that I sat in. You can order and dine in, sit at the bar, and order from home and then pick up. Seem like a nice place to have casual date night or hang out with a few friends.

This is a very cute little place that serves mainly Argentinian-style empanadas, pizza, coffee, beer, and more. On weekends they open from 8am to 1pm, then they reopen again at 5pm. Unfortunately (as of this writing at least), they only serve breakfast empanadas and no pizza during the first opening. So you have to come back after 5pm if you want pizza or pork empanadas. Another downside is that there are three empanadas in each order, and they all have to be the same kind, so you cannot get one squash empanada and one pork empanada. Other than that, all else was good!

Kevin and the Richmond Timber location catered my wedding in Waynesboro, VA. Having a catering background myself, I was beyond impressed. I wanted a more casual feel but still able to dress up the reception and give people a different wedding experience. Not only was the pizza and appetizers (the apps were SO good) delicious, the presentation and pizza itself was BEAUTIFUL. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was hot and made on site. Our guests raved about the pizza and had boxes to take home for anyone who wanted. The vendors were equally impressed and wanted them on their vendor list asap. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive and accommodating. They have definitely figured out wood fire pizza on a large scale and anyone should feel very confident in hiring them. I’m so glad I saved money on traditional wedding food and it ended up being SO much better!

Stopped by on a whim. Glad I did! Stuck to the basic cheese pizza (Cheese Please) my first go around, and I was pleasantly surprised. Fresh mozzarella baked on top of the cheese, with basil leaves off to the side if you'd like to add some green flavor to your slices. The pies are 12", perfect for some person to devour or split between another or save for later. The crust is doughy but thin, if you eat it fresh, and the pizza itself is oily, but not overwhelmingly greasy. Great for a pizza dinner in or out. The restaurant is trendy in feeling, with younger 20-30 somethings working the counter, kitchen, and bar. There are two dining tables out front, and a few inside. The entire restaurant is relatively small, but it's a cute little pizza place that makes way for small groups that wish to dine in. The pies range from $14-$16, generally, and are a wide range from original cheese to assorted prepared toppings. Parking outside is neighborhood street parking mostly. Just outside is 3-hour metered parking up until 6:30pm. If you come by after that, you should be good! Overall, not bad for a small, hip little pizza joint on Upshur! 5/5 pizzas from me 😉🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Long wait for a table, so we got pizza to go instead. We got half Penelope half Pepperoni as well as the pork empanadas. It was a small pizza for two people and a bit pricey for the size, but we were content. The empanadas were fantastic! I could have eaten many more. The Penelope (my side) was fantastic and honestly a perfect pizza for me (everything I like!). My boyfriend enjoyed his pepperoni as well. The fresh basil was a nice touch! I really like the lights and fun truck outside too. It was our first night in DC and it was a great meal after traveling!

Solid choice for pizza. I've had a few, but my favorite is the Bentley. Service is friendly and the pizzas come out fairly quickly. It's a very busy restaurant in a small space that is cozy and warm.

My sister and I went to celebrate our birthdays and as good surprise we found out there are Argentinians behind this restaurant since we lived in Buenos Aires. Amazing service! Pizza it’s super delicious, very fresh, the place has its industrial vibe which makes it very unique. Good tip, buy pizza and drinks and then step to Room 808 it will be a good night plan 🤌🏽

From the moment you walk in the aroma is so captivating! The brick oven pizzas are delicious! The Lulu and The Bentley pizzas are the two I tried and they were to die for! Hands down the best pizza place in DC. The staff is friendly and very considerate.

We have worked with Timber Pizza on numerous events and love having them here at Fathom Gallery! Maya is always a joy to work with and her staff is very helpful and always has a positive attitude. They do a wonderful job creating a unique experience for guests with their brick oven and their pizza is the absolute best! We have loved working with them over the years.

I recently tried Timber Pizza Company and was blown away by their high quality ingredients. On the way back home from the city I ordered some pizza online and it was ready for me to pick up on my way in just 15 minutes! The service was friendly as well. From what I saw, this seems like a quaint little place perfect for a casual bite with friends and family. They have tons of different options beyond just pizza. Their offerings include empanadas, salads, and desserts. I got The Shirley pizza to try which had a provolone and mozzarella blend, pesto drizzle, tomato drizzle, jalapenos, and green onions. The pizza had a light, fluffy crust which had great leoparding on the bottom to evidence the nice bake. My favorite was the jalapenos as they had a bit of a kick to them and cut through the doughiness of the crust. Upon taking my first bite I would agree that the pizza was cooked thoroughly as the toppings were not soggy at all. The size was perfect for a personal pizza and was overall a great value for the cost given the taste and ingredient quality. This was the perfect meal for a road trip and the pizza tasted great even hours later. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area and I will definitely go back to try their empanadas!

This place is great. While the margarita doesn’t have as much cheese as I think it should, the others pizzas are perfect. And the breakfast empanadas are out of this world.

Food: Excellent food! We ordered the vegetarian empanadas. They were definitely more average but I really enjoyed the jam dipping sauce it came with. I appreciate that they let you split the pizza toppings. We got one pizza with half cheese and half green monster, and then one pizza of the Shirley. The Green Monster was our favorite! It was flavorful and well cooked. We got two beers on taps as well. Service: Pleasant bartender/server. Gave recommendations for the most popular vegetarian pizzas and let me sample a beer before ordering. Ambiance: Small but really cozy. Surprisingly no wait given the order first then sit set up. Overall a quaint neighborhood pizza place, would absolutely go again!!

I am thoroughly impressed by the Richmond Timber Pizza crew! Kevin made our event extra special. His attention to detail, communication, and availability was above stellar! And the food…. Absolutely delicious! Kevin, I think you now have 80 regular customers. So delish. Kudos to the event waitstaff, too! Great people, good hearts. Thank you for making our celebration extra special. I am deeply grateful for you and your team. Much love….and pizza! Thank you!

My favorite pizza spot by far! Pickup is quick (15-20 minutes) if you order outside of the main dinner rush. The pork empanadas are filled and the pineapple chups are a great for the pizza as well! My favorite ones are The Bentley and The Turu (pictured)!

Timber Pizza Co. catered our wedding on January 13, 2024 and they were EXCEPTIONAL! Kevin made sure we had everything we needed and the food was the talk of the night. Communication was always open and easy from the first email requesting taste testing up through our wedding night. They took care of any of our guests dietary restrictions (even celiac) I can’t recommend them enough! To quote my husband “this is possibly the best cheese pizza I’ve ever had”
