The Laz Hotel ruined my vacation. At first glance, this hotel is great: it’s beautiful, in a good location, close to great restaurants, the metro, etc. It’s modern, has amenities like the pool and spa, will hold your luggage if you arrive early, and the rooms are very spacious by Parisian standards. It even smells nice! However, I personally would NEVER, ever recommend this hotel. Want to know why? Because even though I placed the “do not disturb” sign on the door, housekeeping still came into my room - and stole my jewelry, specifically my late (dead) grandmother’s earrings off the bathroom counter. I know they entered the room, despite the “do not disturb” sign, because they made my bed & took out the trash - and the “do not disturb” sign was now on the floor. I didn’t want ANYONE in my room; I never let housekeeping in my room at any hotel, for this exact reason, so I always place the “do not disturb” sign on the door. The male manager definitely seemed to “care” when I asked about this. But nothing was done & he seemed angry when I suggested that they could have possibly gotten stolen. He assured me that it must’ve been an accident - that they must’ve fallen off the counter in the cleaning process and ended up in the trash; however, with where they were left, with all of my other toiletries surrounding & those being undisturbed, that would be an impossibility. I left the hotel the next day, but went back before leaving the city a few days later because I wanted to see if they had found anything. The male receptionist this time was very helpful actually and genuinely seemed to care. He got me in touch with the overall hotel manager (female) who I once again told the story to & was asked “why are you just telling us about this now if you checked out days before” (despite already talking to the male manager days before). When I told her where the earrings were in regards to the other things, it was clear she didn’t think it was an accident - though she’d never say. She called the outsourced housekeeping staff manager who basically told me “we would never steal stuff” and “[the maid] said she didn’t see the sign hanging on the door.” Long story short, the cleaning staff will enter your room despite any “do not disturb” sign being left on the door, and they will steal your things. And for all the non-english speaking visitors looking at this hotel: le personnel de nettoyage volera vos affaires Das Reinigungspersonal wird Ihre Sachen stehlen ‎سوف يسرق طاقم التنظيف أشيائك il personale delle pulizie ruberà le tue cose 清掃スタッフがあなたの物を盗みます 청소 직원이 당신의 물건을 훔칠 것입니다 a equipe de limpeza vai roubar suas coisas el personal de limpieza robará tus cosas 清潔人員會偷你的東西

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of San Lazare. Many nice bistro and cafes all around and the hotel has a cosy spa. Breakfast was also good quality.

We had a great time staying at this property. Everything was a close 15-20 minute walk away or 5-10 minutes away by taxi. The staff was warm, welcoming and friendly. Harminder ji was super helpful with everything we needed, and recommended some great restaurants as well. Will stay here again for sure!

It's a good hotel with some minor setbacks. Rooms are great and spacious, unfortunately walls are paper thin so even when the neighbors open and close their door it's enough to wake you. Staff was great but housekeeping needs work. They wouldn't leave enough towles, dirty robes and forget to restock hotel amenities. The bed was also poorly made. Location is average especially if you're looking to spend time in St. Germain or Le Mare. There's a construction in front of the hotel but thick windows do a good job of containing the noise. Overall an okay stay.

Perfect hotel with friendly service, great location and beautiful design. Everything looks modern, air conditioning works. Even allowed us late checkout for free and organized two adjacent rooms for our family. Also ordered a great van taxi to go to Disneyland with a child seat.

Fabulous Boutique Hotel Great location. The hotel has an opulent and modern decor and is fabulously clean. The rooms themselves are comfortable and well appointed. The spa is a gorgeous touch and a really relaxing space to unwind. Above all of this though, the customer service is exceptional- perhaps the best we have experienced anywhere. Everyone from the front of house, cocktail bar and domestic staff were exceptional. I would undoubtedly stay here again.

Great location, great rooms and even better staff. The rooms are comfortable and really clean. Hotel is closed to many restaurants, cafes and also it is less than 5 minute walk to subway station. The staff are kind and proffesional. They always helped me when i request or ask them anything. They let us keep our luggage at the hotel after we check out. Highly recommend the hotel.

Great hotel! Located near the metro and several bakeries and restaurants, the location in central Paris is excellent. The staff are very nice and helpful. They safely stored my bags before check in and after check out before my departure. The spa section is relaxing, and they have scooters for rent. Can’t wait to return!

Nice hotel with a good sauna (finnish. as well as a steam room). Some health concerns though, a guy passed out (next to bottle of cognac) in the spa and after it being flagged to the staff it took a long time to sort it out, he was left lying down for another 15-30 minutes. Reflects badly on the hotel

BEWARE: Housekeeping will steal items from your room! Rooms are hot… air doesn’t work. They did provide a fan, but only after ours was stolen by housekeeping along with a battery pack and charging cords.

Very nice and modern hotel. I had an enjoyable stay. The bar was certainly overwhelmed with the big group but spend a lot of effort to get it right.

We had a great one-week stay at the Laz. The room was clean and everything was quite modern and updated. We chose not to have any room-cleaning while we were there due to personal preference, but the service was amazing, any time we would ask for something, it would arrive at our door within 5 minutes. One day we asked for an extra blanket and it literally came a minute later. Nespresso machine in the room worked great. We did not eat breakfast at the restaurant as we wanted to try little places and there were many options nearby. The only thing I would mention is that the "gym" is not really a gym - there are 3 machines and absolutely no weights. I would not classify something as a gym without weights. It was one of the reasons we picked this place so we could keep up with our weights/fitness routine but we were not able to. That would be the only negative thing. We loved that the Metro stations were so nearby and Galleries LaFayette was only about a ten-min walk. There is also a franprix around the corner, and a monoprix within ten minutes walk. The front-desk people were friendly and helped recommend food spots nearby based on our mood. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if the gym options were expanded!

Everything about this hotel is 10/10! If you're looking for a gorgeous boutique hotel with decent sized rooms, great service, amenities and great location. This hotel is the place to book. The location is fantastic for those who want to be close to city center but a far away enough to escape the craziness and have a quiet evening. We loved that it was close to 3 major subway stations. Liege, Europe and Saint Lazare. This allowed us to travel anywhere in the city easily. There were also many cafes and restaurants near by. We found a great little Italian restaurant just a 3 minute walk and its a definite must-try (Bar Italia). The rooms are a very generous and decent size for a hotel in Paris and the bathroom was gorgeous! It really made coming home after a long day feel extra luxurious. The main reason why we booked this hotel was because of the spa area. We saw that it had a small pool, sauna and steam room and it really didn't disappoint. Although the spa area is small, we never experienced it being crowded, we had a lot of privacy every time we went down and I think for a city like Paris, having this extra amenity really makes the hotel shine. The staff are friendly, accommodating and efficient and their bar is open until midnight! They also have ample space for you to hang out for drinks if you want. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend booking this stay and I would definitely rebook with them if I'm ever back in Paris.

Brilliant little hotel, very quiet, nice rooms. The a/c stopped working for a day or two, other than that, this was a superb hotel. One I would recommend.

An absolutely beautiful and charming boutique hotel so well located - very close to train station, metro, buses, shopping, restaurants and few attractions. My daughter and I had a six night total stay, travelled in different directions of Paris every day from Gare Saint Lazarre, Liege, Clichy or Trinite stations - all few mins walk from the hotel. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and spotless clean! I have no hesitation in recommending this to any one traveling to Paris for the first time like we did!!

Have stayed there and enjoyed it each time but for some reason hours after receiving a confirmation, my reservation was cancelled, leaving us high and dry. We called and were told that they the credit card was refused - why confirm our booking so? A phone call would have sorted that. Very disappointing.

Good hotel with attentive staff. Rooms could do with more hanging and closet space as there's hardly any wardrobe space if ur staying more than 1 night! Lovely area out the back for chilling out 🥂

Would have given 5 stars but the water in the shower was lukewarm even after letting it run for a while - we had the suite with a soaking tub and taking a bath in lukewarm water is...meh.... Breakfast buffer is well appointed; with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, pastries and the usual suspects. The swimming pool is more akin to a plunge pool but nice nevertheless.

So happy to stay at this hotel. Our baby is so happy with the service. The hotel breakfast was amazing and we ordered daily. The place is baby friendly and the staff made amazing cocktails. Our AC was broken, and they immediately gave us another room. Efficient and will come back this hotel.

This hotel is great - excellent location and service. Very friendly and helpful staff. 2 metro stations by a few minutes walking. Modern and large bathroom and very clean rooms. Highest quality food for breakfast. Great spa and swimming pool. Highly recommend it to everyone and definitely will be back.

5/5 stars for my stay in Paris. All the staff members were helpful and rooms were clean. Large modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend and you will not regret it. Nobody used the pool, sauna and gym so had it all myself.

Love this hotel. The room is stylish, cozy and clean. We have the room with a little patio. AC works perfect which you will definitely love during summer. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They speak perfect English which is wonderful for us being first time in France. Only couple minutes walk away from the metro/train station.

Excellent hotel with nice facilities, room is clean and bathroom is relatively big. The lobby is decorated nicely and staff were friendly and welcoming. Need more vegan options at the breakfast buffet otherwise everything is nice

Great hotel in a convenient location - friendly staff and very nicely appointed. Importantly for me the hotel staff arranged to ship an item I left in the room to me after I checked out - very happy!

Booked for my wife and youngest son over Christmas. Rooms are very nice, clean and have everything you need. My wife had two treatments, a facial which she said was amazing and really cleared her skin. A massage from Jeanne (the best she has ever had). Breakfast is worth every penny and the woman serving became my sons new best friend. She couldn’t be more helpful 100%. Philippe was always happy to help at reception and Sukardin was just as friendly in the evenings and gave great advice on wine choices. The hotel is great, location is amazing but what made it for us was the staff. Thank you all.

Rating: 5/10 Room: overall fine, but low quality. There were stains on wall/roof when we got there, and overall things feel just okay. Comfort: bed is pretty comfy, blinds work well, and not too much noise but if you're near another occupied room you'll hear them entering and exiting in the corridor. Amenities: Wifi is good. The room service options are very lackluster. Location: decent location, easy to get to from Gare du Nord, close to metro. Price: not overly expensive, for what you get. Other: the pool is really nice, and the gym does its job. Working in the lobby is quite a nice experience too, but you have to pay for coffee.

Great hotel in Paris in a good location within walking distance to the Louvre and Moulin Rouge. The rooms are very modern and spacious with great amenities. Really liked having the Nespresso Zenius machine in the room with many different coffees available for it. The staff where all really happy and friendly and where able to assist us with booking taxis and restaurants as well as helping with printing documents, they all spoke good English too. Very good bar with an experienced bartender that also added to the hotel. The spa here is really good considering the size and location of the hotel. Appreciated that it could be booked for an hour at a time so you could have it exclusively to yourself as the sauna and heated pool are great.

When visiting major cities, I tend to prefer well-located hotels even if they don't offer a full suite of amenities and the rooms are small. My review is in line with that expectation, so keep that in mind. Also note that this was a business trip, so I was here without my family. The room was small (as expected), but modern and in great condition. I do wish that the air conditioning worked better, but that may be more of a European thing and the temperature was still generally comfortable. I didn't use the pool or spa services, but was surprised to see they were even available at this price point. That was an added bonus. The hotel is very close to the Montmartre area of Paris, and I was able to walk to both the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Keep in mind that it was a rather long walk, but I was without my family on this trip and able to do it without much trouble on a nice day. To reiterate, don't expect a large room or lot of amenities, but I liked the price and location. I'd definitely consider staying here again, even if I were with my family.

Nice hotel. Cosy room was big enough, bed howevee was on the small side. We didn't have breakfast, but lots of bakeries and little cafés in the neighbourhood. I recommend this hotel for a trip in Paris

👍 Well managed restaurant with beautiful decor. I love their kitchenware like dishes, pans and bottles. Truffle pasta is tasty but I didn‘t enjoy the beef dish much as it was too dry and tough compared to other restaurants in Paris. Anyway overall is good - having nice food in lovely atmosphere!

😐 My second visit to this Italian restaurant in Paris. The food is delicious and the truffle pasta is a must try. They also offer good options in pizza. A little expensive but worth the food quality.
