An absolutely fantastic park. So many areas to train different skills and for all skill levels. The feeling was quite chill and it just felt easy to try new things without being in the way. Bring some wax for sure if you’re on rollerblades since most everything was hella dry. They seem to wash it off. Transitions are really smooth and there’s a great 14ft drop to try. Down ledge was solid and there’s a sweet launch ramp too. Probably my fav park in the greater Bay Area. $6 for parking, $10 to get in. No food on site so bring a cooler and lunch. There are ins and outs. They also have a bbq and a covered area with heaters. Looks like there are lights so you can stay to the end no problem.

Epic park. It’s like they smashed three skate parks together in one spot and included a DIY section in the middle with ramps, rails, and kickers.

I love this place! I'm so glad I found this place because my 1 year old gets to see ducks, geese, Jack rabbits, hummingbirds, pelicans and turtles! There is a cute garden there as well. This place is our new picnic spot since there are many tables spread around. If you look at the lake in a distance it's nice but don't look closely because it's filthy however it's still a nice walk seeing all of the birds out there.

Beautiful park! Great place to walk in the morning! People don't bother you...they just do their thing. I think twice around is 10,000 steps. I think the county needs to do a better job with trimming the weeds and clearing the brush from the creek. I call the stairs the devil's backbone. Multiple times will kick your behind! Enjoy!!!

Best skatepark I've ventured to. Tons of variety in the skatepark section, spanning from 1st day beginner to seasoned veteran. The larger bowls are seriously huge and require lots of speed to skate them properly. They also have a series of bike trails that also include jumps and tracks for the beginner to the expert, as well as many wall rides and wooden tabletops. Admission is pricy but worth it to experience the vastness of this skatepark.

I really enjoyed this place. Ample parking available. A little uphill walk to the office. Really nice people that work there. Fair pricing on entrance ($7 / day + parking) and drinks, snacks and gear. Rental gear available. Awesome little fix it station available. The one thing I wish is that they would get some real toilets.

If you're going to make people pay for a park, you should at least have decent hours. & I'm reading that you require a ton of pads? I could understand requiring a helmet. I really wanted to come here but I don't think I will.

This place is unreal. It’s was so cool we stayed for 6 hours! They have so many obstacles and tracks and jumps and ramps and pipes and bowls and empty pools I can’t say enough about it. My sons are 14 and newish to bmx and they had an absolute blast at Lake Cunningham Action Sports Park. This place has lots of stuff for every skill level. It’s very well maintained and totally kid and adult friendly. There are even places for parents or spectators to sit, relax and hang out. There was also a well stocked reasonably priced pro shop with drinks and snacks. The park is big and has lots of room to spread out, ride and practice. We Highly recommend this wonderful bmx park. Entry was $10 per person, non riders were free. They also had bike, boards, scooters rentals, as well as tools and air pumps to work on your bikes or boards if needed. It is really set up well and who ever built this place put a lot of thought and care into every aspect.

I liked how these guys made tons of fun activities, really well elaborated, there is a spot to refresh ourselves by water droplets and a big fan. You can also find seats, tables, and shade to rest while the young ones enjoy trying different challenges. I fully recommend going to this place

Great place to spend a day. The bike park is amazing, well run, rules enforced, lots of encouragement from the other riders. We travel 4 hours to get here to enjoy the park for a day

Lovely attraction where you'll find lots of space, fitness course, playground and picnic areas but if there's been a rain many areas and trail will be flooded. Easy place to see the Canadian geese.

This park is pretty incredible. Huge skatepark with endless options that make you want to stay for days. Only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because their hours are limited and the bike park is not as good as it should be. They don’t utilize the lights to open the park at night when it cooler outside and there is no shade within the park. The bike park is almost awesome but the design and angle of the big jumps are not very fun and don’t work very well.

It is really nice, but it should be free for San Jose youth residents.

Not been to SJ for a long time; this looks like it’s a great way to get a few hours in of outdoor fun. The mountain bike course looks more advanced than this guy could handle! Ha! Restrooms, nice staff, parking is $6 but the fee can be applied to some sort of lengthier parking pass.
