Pizza was delicious; we enjoyed the deep dish and a combination pizza. Fork and knife; take your time and enjoy this pizza. Customer service was amazing; I am not from the city this was my first time at Zachary’s and I will return again. Great food; great customer service; parking was not bad I got a meter right across the street from the pizzeria. Mom; Dad; brother; grandmother and grandkids; all enjoyed our outing for today. A nice hike then deep dish pizza and pop to wash it down. Locations has Two bathrooms. Location serves Beer and wine. My service was nice and very respectful; didn’t hesitate to come back and check on us after we got our food; felt very welcoming and inviting definitely the customer service more people should get the privilege to experience beautiful gal with curly hair. I wish they gave military discounts but you can’t win them all; the service was excellent and the food was delicious.

I have loved Zachary's pizza since the 90's and it's still so good! Order a large stuffed pizza and take some home for another meal!

The deep-dish Chicago style was so good I forgot to take pictures of it. The price may seem high, but most people can only eat one slice of the deep-dish allowing to stretch it out. Also, it keeps well as left overs at home. Their thin crust is excellent also. It has a good flavor slightly heavier than a New York flaky thin crust. I, who is not a fan of thin crust, enjoy their thin crust pizzas on occasion. The single serve salads are large, their shared salad size is huge. At lunch and dinner time their setting generally is full with a wait. The deep-dish pizzas take about 35 minutes to cook. They stopped their loyalty program. 😞

Zachary's Chicago Pizza is the kind of place that makes you feel like you've hit the jackpot. The pizza ingredients are super fresh and extra flavorful, making each bite an experience in itself. If Chicago pie is anything like this, then count me in! I ordered the pizza half-baked so that I could enjoy the pie at home right out of the oven. When I finally got to indulge in my fully baked masterpiece, I was blown away by the flavors. The crust was perfectly crispy and the cheese was perfectly melted, creating a perfect harmony of textures and flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant is trendy and modern, catering to the college crowds just down the road at UC Berkeley. The place has a youthful vibe that makes it perfect for casual gatherings with friends or family. What really made my experience at Zachary's Chicago Pizza exceptional was the staff. They were super friendly and knowledgeable about the pizza-making process. They took the time to explain each ingredient and helped me make some great choices when building my pie. All in all, Zachary's Chicago Pizza is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for an exceptional pizza experience. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are out of this world, and the staff is simply amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time and an even greater pizza.

Zachary’s is one of the few places in Oakland that still has an affordable lunch deal! I had an hour to kill in that area and I was looking for something to eat, the pizza aroma was reaching all the way across the street. I was checking the menu and I saw a $12 dea that served a slice of pizza, a side Caesar salad and a soft drink. I wondered if that would be filling and it was actually perfect! The salad was well dressed, creamy, tangy, garlicky with plenty of cheese and the server cracked some fresh black pepper on top. The pizza was a generous portion with well seasoned tomato sauce. I liked how the new staff was attentive, even when they were being trained. Definitely recommend it!

Hands down the most delicious deep dish you'll find in the Bay. Incredibly buttery delicious crust, fresh toppings, cheese, and the sauce.... the sauce brings it all together for one of the best pies you could ever ask for. If you're looking for some stellar pie, then look no further than Zachary's.

This is my favorite deep dish pizza. I usually get the meat and add artichokes. The place is cute, you can seat down and grab a beer while you wait for the deliciousness. Staff is friendly

The servers were friendly and helpful. Parking could be an issue sometimes. The stuffed (deep dish) pizzas are really heavy and filling. A stuffed small 10” pizza would easily feed two hungry adults. You can always take the leftovers but just be aware of how filling these deep dish pizzas are!

We ordered the bbq chicken and mushroom flavor, both are fantastic! Though it took 30 mins wait for the pizza but worth the wait. The pizza got tick crush and juicy tomato sauce, quite different from other pizza.

Hasn't changed since my Cal days over 30 years ago! Absolutely delicious! Stuffed spinach and mushrooms with sausage!

Delicious as always, get the Carne, you'll thank me later. Right off the bat, you'll note the delicious Italian sausage, the pepperoni and the wonderful sauce and cheese. But then when you get to the crust... oh my goodness, you'll be so surprised. The crust is divine. You'll love the experience.

I liked everything about this place except when they bring the pizza to the table they serve it to you. I know I’m being dramatic but I like to see the cheese pull myself and choose my slice, I was very sad. I didn’t even get a picture before she started cutting it up 😔But the pizza was super tasty

Word on the street is that the people that fled the crazy of California to move to Texas still come here for Pizza and discover ways to smuggle it back in their luggage. I wouldn’t recommend that cuz you’d have to pay the “Heavy Bag” charge. I bought a 10” deep dish Chicken and basil special and it was thicker than your grandmas thighs. Pizza was delicious. I could only muscle down 2 slices. Now I don’t have to go to Chicago and risk getting 2 bullets to the chest to for the Pizza experience.

We had the barbecue chicken and a build you own. Both pizzas were very good and the BBQ chicken pizza was pretty similar to the pizza from CPK. The crust was on the harder size which may hurt your teeth or braces.

Look darn it. Still solid pizzeria. One of the best in the bay and have been holding it down for like 40 years! (Don’t quote me on that, but close to it). I love their signature deep dish, but don’t you dare sleep on their thin crust pies either! Fresh ingredients and consistent. May grab a slice to go. Expect about 40-60 minutes for pizza, but they have a great system; order your pizza while you wait in line so it’s ready for you when you sit. Also, home of the BEST Caesar salad. The atmosphere is fun fun fun. Family, college towny, casual date night like. Still love the fan artwork that covers the wall. We love you Zachary’s!!

Second in my opinion only to Capo's and Tony's other places. I like their deep dish reminds me of a place back east growing up. I love one slice meals an Zachary's has it, i especially love their newest locations that have a bar.

Incredible pizza! I highly recommend the Zachary’s deep dish special! We ordered two pies for a group of four and could not be more happy and fueled for the rest of our weekend

“The cheese is under the sauce” meme reminds me of this place…true authentic deep dish pizza that is delicious and well balanced! The crust doesn’t fall apart when you pick it up despite the dense cheesy fillings - truly a feat of science and/or miracle. If you come here, you must get the deep dish pizza. It is SO GOOD. Be aware from the moment you order, it takes 30-40 minutes to get to your table because they make it in house. I would recommend a salad or the meatballs as an app!

East Bay classic. Excellent stuffed deep dish pizza with vegan options. We get it with spinach and mushroom on the inside and artichoke on the outside. A 12" is usually enough to feed 3-4 people, but we love having leftovers. It's amazing air fried the next day.

I lived in Chicago for ten years and never had a pie as good as Zachary's. In addition to delicious, affordable food they've got really great staff, fun art, and good vibes all around. And employee-owned! Get the deep dish it's worth the wait.

THIS PIZZA IS SO TASTY NFKFKRKOCLSKSKXKNFKEK. Okay, I have come here once a year for a while before I started attending college here, so you know I have been craving to come back!! We came here and got a medium Chicken Special pizza for $26 ish (including cash excluding tip), which is around $3.30 for huge, delicious slices. The establishment is open for indoor dining and as per usual the service was great. Look forward to coming again soon :3

We went in slightly around 5p on a Saturday. They were busy but not too busy. Our wait, literally about 3-4 minutes. Our waitress got to us quickly and was very polite. The food was absolutely delicious. Good experience, good food. definitely planning on heading back (not sue when as i don't live exactly nearby but will be heading back) =P

A great Chicago style pizza place in the Bay Area. If you pass one by, definitely stop in for a stuffed deep dish!

I love the pizzas. I always get the stuffed pizza. Today, get a thin slice. It’s really really good too. Pizza price is really good this day and age. Fine location.
