Second time there. Food was excellent! Service as well. Fast service. Price is very reasonable. Good size portions. Highly recommend. Family owned and operated. (6-7-23) since my first review I am now a regular customer. The quality, service and atmosphere has not faultered. So glad they survived the pandemic.

We had wine, calamari, salad, garlic mashed potatoes and cup of broccoli soup. The service was great and the staff was very polite. The food was good too. Everything had on point flavor. ❤️

Delicious bread, very nice, friendly staff, but lacking in knowledge of Italian cuisine. They probably don’t eat it, so they do not know how to make it. It is fine for Mexicans to run an Italian restaurant, but please educate and train staff. Our waitress had no idea what Carbonara is, either did the person attempting to make it. The is NO sauce in Carbonara...it is a dry dish, and certainly not an Alfredo sauce. I could not eat what I was served last night, it was awful, covered in a rich Alfredo sauce and with a mountain of salty pancetta. Pancetta is used sparingly in this dish, as it only takes a small amount of pancetta and one big egg (or two small eggs) olive oil and garlic. Carbonara is a dry sauce, as the egg wraps around the spaghetti. It is a simple dish, not full of a wet sauce. Please learn what Carbonara is or take it off the menu. The crab cakes were extremely salty too. I added a photo and recipe of what goes in actual Italian Carbonara. I probably won’t eat here again, but please do your customers the courtesy of preparing the dishes correctly. Thanks

This was my 3rd time eating their food and 1st time dining in. I enjoyed the food and the service was good. We got our food in a timely manner and the supporting staff was helpful as well.

Stopped here while on a road trip from Southern California to Canada. We stayed the night in town and googled italian food and found this spot. It was good, no complaints. I ordered the lasagna, and my hubby ordered the bolognese. The bread and butter were nice as well. It is very close to the water and some great photo opertunities.

The food is good, the restaurant looks super clean and the staff is very friendly. However, the chicken fingers I ordered were a little burnt. Otherwise everything is great and I will go back.

My husband I were looking for a new Italian Restaurant, and we found it! We ordered the same meal (See photo). It was delicious! The ambiance and staff are really nice! Can't wait to try other dishes displayed on the viewable photo slide being played on the television high above. See you soon!

Went here solo. I wanted to sit at the bar and order a drink and have dinner. 10 mins pass no one comes around to the bar and asks what I would like to drink. I track down a waitress and place a food order. 15 mins later I am handed my order in a to go bag!!!

Went with friends for weekday lunch. I ordered carbonara to see how the kitchen could deliver. Large portion. But the bacon (used instead of pancetta) was overly salty. I'd suggest switching to another brand so the pasta, cream and cheese flavors can stand out better. Thought the lunch prices were high, for pasta in Pinole, even with inflation. It's a tough market for restaurants but Famiglia couldn't displace my favorite first choice for Italian in Pinole.

The restaurant is excellent The food is very good also the people working there But There was one issue I didn't like it at all They taking the tip automatically 20% without you know I don't like that I consider that they put the hands in my wallet.

It had everything to be 5 stars, but an Italian restaurant that doesn't serve fresh pasta leaves something to be desired. I loved the quantities, Fettuccine Alfredo had a lot of sauce which was excellent, it was tasty but the pasta was the same from the supermarket and was very hard. Other than that, the rest was very good.

Had a great meal with great service. My friends and I are visiting California for the week, and this was the best food we've had during the whole trip. Be sure to tip the kitchen staff too, they deserve it.

Server was very nice & efficient, very clean restaurant. Our food was fresh & had a homemade feel the bread is made from the same pizza dough recipe. I think they could work on the ambiance. It’s a very wide open space, The open kitchen is cool, but too many bare walls. How about some Italian themed murals or more of those cool art deco posters!

I had the bistecca di ribeye with mashed potatoes and veggies. The steak was a chewy mess. My lady had the Margherita pizza. Totinos frozen pizza would be 1,000 times better. Kiddo had spaghetti and meatballs. He said it was typical. Our Hispanic server was great! All of the servers were Hispanic. All the cooks were Hispanic. There wasn't one Italian person working. I'm Hispanic, so it's not a knock on them. It's just that we were at an Italian restaurant!

Great menu! Not an overwhelming amount of dishes to choose and there's something for everyone. I love the bread and dip they serve while the food cooks. Staff is wonderful. I've been here a few times and never been disappointed. Ps- get dessert!!

Expensive, bad food. My husband got the "rib eye", which was full of gristle, thin, he described it as tasting like it had been boiled, and had a weird sweet flavor that didn't make sense. I had the carbonara, which traditionally is made with egg yolks and cheese, not cream. The pasta I got was a cream sauce that lacked any depth or discernable flavor, which was certainly not a carbonara. The $10 house wine most certainly came from a box. The atmosphere was so strange, the vents and sub ceiling are all exposed, and the decor inside was a smattering of random tiny photos. Felt more like a warehouse than a nice restaurant. I don't understand how this place gets away with charging $30 a plate for what amounts to cafeteria food. They clearly don't seem too worried about making good quality food. They should charge less than half of their current prices so that the price matches what they provide. The bread was nice, the service was excellent, we got our food concerningly fast (was it just sitting around?).

The food was excellent! I had the spaghetti di mare and my friend had the spaghetti with a meat sauce.

I ordered the Bruschetta and the gnocchi with chicken and Alfredo sauce. I thought the bruschetta was pretty good, but needed more slices of bread. On the other hand, the gnocchi was extremely mushy. It felt like I was eating little balls of mashed potatoes rather than a dumpling. The sauce lacked any real flavor. I threw the majority of it away.

Went there on Valentine's Day. Steak was totally overcooked even though I made a point of requesting medium rare but more on the rarer side. Ordered a plate to go and they forgot about it. Overall spent $181 and was very unhappy.

I went here for a staff event. The food is superb, the staff is friendly and respectful, and the atmosphere is interesting. The kitchen is open so you can smell and see the action of the chefs right in front. Would recomend this place for family gatherings or for a small group of family and/or friends.

Great place for italian food. The pasta is fresh and has a good chew to it. The pizza is also good.
