I needed a place to stay due to a house fire and explained my situation to the front desk everyday for 2 weeks and they kept telling me they didn't have any weekly rooms available and charged me the nightly rate even though I had proof that the Red Cross could only hel0 me so much. I saw a weekly room open up and they got annoyed that I asked if we could switch to that room and was told since the person didn't turn in the key they couldn't rent the room. (The person was arrested and is in jail now the room was raided) then the woman told my boyfriend if he was going to use the room like the previous tenant she wouldn't rent it to us saying that he was going to sell drugs. We explained our situation to her every day and she said there was nothing she could do and she wouldn't work with us at all and finally just admitted she didn't care. I really hope she never needs to ask anyone for help because she is a very cold emotionless person. I understand she must deal with difficult people frequently but she can see we are struggling but since she knows there's nothing else we can do she won't help us at all we have all housekeeping if there were any weekly rentals and they told us 2 were opening up and then we saw a third. Yet there front desk is still saying there aren't any and got mad that we asked the staff. We keep our room clean, we are quiet we leave the room cleaner than when we got here. It's just sad that they refuse to see that we are decent people in an unfortunate situation and all we are asking is to be switched to the weekly rate so we can have somewhere to stay. The rooms are alright but not always very clean. The housekeeping staff is very friendly but the owners do not treat thier customers very well. I'm sure they have seen rooms get trashed, situations with drugs, fights, ECT. But we have stayed here a few times in the past 3 years and they know this and my boyfriend and I have never ever caused any drama and have always cleaned the room as best we can. We even sweap our room, clean the bathroom, make our bed ourselves and never leave a mess.

Amazing service and the continental breakfast was out of this world, no one does graham crackers and peanut butter like the Royal Motel. Highley recommended the honeymoon suite the views of the cemetery are enchanting.

Spent one night there no bugs they fix it up but the housekeeper Neighbor gave us a Bath house so we could take a shower

I went to stay for a night and I got ready to lay down and out of no where I started scratching. Come to find out I checked the edges of the bed and there were bed bugs. I took a video and showed it to the front desk and they refused to give me my money until I threatened to call the cops. Never again will I stay there. Room 30 has bed bugs

The experience was horrible no heat in room 55 the lady at the front desk was disrespectful and rude towards my fiance and I. The rug was sticky and stained. Few of the outlets in the room didn't work and there was only on lock on the door, there was no lock on bathroom door. And they want to much for their rooms for two weeks for rent four hundred twenty dollars for two weeks. They don't except animals which for one I think is redicoulous especially if you are paying it rent you should be allowed a dog,cat or fish. They are extremely rude and they wouldn't let us keep our room. Due to not having right amount of rent and wouldn't let us pay half and half.

Truthfully speaking this place needs to be condemned....this is the most filthy hotel room I've ever seen in my life. I paid $80 for my aunt she didn't even stay she slept in her car

So be real this is the perfect place if you want a escort, plain and simple I'm sorry for saying that but this is a fly by night motel. You stay a night or a few hours. That's its and a cheap price? You get what you pay for. Easy in easy out.

So be genuine this is the ideal spot in the event that you need an escort, easy I'm upset for saying that however this is a fleeting inn. You stay an evening or a couple of hours. That is all there is to it and a modest cost? The end product tends to reflect its price. Simple in simple out.

We were helping a person who lost the house to find inexpensive room for a weekend. 85.00 seemed reasonable until we saw the room. This place is dirty, no hot water, the door didn't close. The place smelled like ashtray. Stay away from this place. You can find much cleaner places for less just a few miles away.

I don’t recommend this motel. I went in to the office and ask them if they had a room and he said yes. And then I asking before I booked the room I ask if there was any rats or bed bug or roaches and he said yes and good luck for booking a room somewhere else. I was ewww… I can’t believe how dirty this people are omg!!!

I think weekly rental motels are all pretty expensive for what they are, but after paying $400 a week in another city for a Roadway Inn, this place is a break. Rooms are basically the same. No amenities, but at $260 a week, you get a bed, a shower, tv and a location that is close to what I need. Friendly cleaning staff, laundromat across the street.

The door didn't lock property in properly in the room that I was in the didn't have no deadbolt flirt with filthy otherwise you're 18 titles for queen they just need to vacuum it better and clean better and fix the doors

The Royal Motel is a nice little spot to get away from society and all it's mundane issues like the rat race. Only thing I can say that weirded me out was the fact that room 39 looked haunted because it was the only room door with two (2) locks and a shabby room number sign and what looked like on the top right corner of the door was a devil's head

This place is a dump . Asked lady at front desk for a discount she ignored me the rooms had mice and the place smelled.80 dollars was way to much for this dump
