This place is NOT what you think! Yes, you can book one night stays and maybe even a "short stay" BUT it is CLEAN, ALMOST ALL of the staff is pleasant, helpful (the breakfast lady is a little touchy but other than that we enjoyed our stay. My management put my family here after out apartment burned and they were very kind to us. TIPS 4 YOUR STAY: The silver thing on the wall where you check in is a coffee, cocoa etc machine and there are no microwaves in the rooms but there is one on the C level in the brown cabinet next to the vending machine. Enjoy your stay.

Wonderful customer service from William at the front desk. We checked in pretty late the previous night and I wasn’t quite satisfied with our room. The next morning we went downstairs and asked for a new room and William didn’t hesitate to accommodate us. He went the extra mile to ensure we as guests experienced exemplary customer service. Thank you William!

Great hotel for being in the Bronx! The hotel is clean and smells good. Complimentary breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. Coffee is good too. Fanny the breakfast attendant was very friendly and served us good waffles. The parking at hotel is limited but they have additional parking in a garage located across the street. I would stay here again if in the area again.

This hotel has a great staff, my check in was easy, and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was actually really good! The only issue for me is the location, there are not many food options/stores that I would consider walking distance, however I had no problem ordering delivery. The good thing is there is a bus stop close by as well, and the area feels pretty safe.

This is the only place I choose to stay when I have to stay at a hotel for work. Rooms are always very clean. Jocelyn is very professional and knowledgeable. She has helped me out on many occasions. Fanny is on top of her game in the breakfast room in the morning; making sure things are clean and well kept. She quickly cleans up after someone once they get up from their table and assists anyone if they need anything while they are eating.

The Ac did not work they used a broom to open my room window. It was about 10 ft high. I was in the basement room. This window was not lock because now one can reach it. The room got to 55 Deg. I ask to move and was told. That was the room giving to me because I booked through Wyndham so they can't move me. The window was at the bottom of the main entrance so you heard everyone walking by and all the smoke blowing into my room. I had enough and moved at 4 in the morning to a different hotel. When

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before and I give it 5 stars! The rooms are very clean and large. Not to mention, the rooms I stayed in had jacuzzi’s inside! So cool. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast area is very nicely organized and displayed. They have a parking lot for your convenience. I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay was was some time ago. The room was located on the first floor, back next to an exit. Was there in the winter so needless to say it was quite cold. They offer rooms with smoking privileges as my friend smokes so we opted for that choice. We really did not have a choice on size and location, they only offer the larger rooms for this privilege. Felt misled as I know the larger rooms are not filled during the weekend as guests are not there for the view. Stayed there only once for an extended weekend a bit pricey for a short stay 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday. I paid $189 per night. 2 Stars for the friendly and polite staff and for the quiet.

Jocelyn, what can I say about Jocelyn? I will start with first impressions. Upon arrival in the lobby are we were greeted with a smile a great welcome to The Ramada Inn . Her professional demeanor and her genuine personality is a valuable asset to the hospitality industry. The lobby is clean it has a great refreshing smell that added to my personal hospitality experience there. I have my own business and I travel a lot. It is rare these days to find such a person as Jocelyn. The total package (namely Jocelyn) was excellent! Be careful I have my eyes on Jocelyn to come aboard and work for me. 💜💜💜

Great location. All the staff are very nice and attentive. The rooms are well kept. The supervisor Jocelyn is great. She cleared up a small dilemma I wasn't happy with quickly and professional. I was very pleased with the hotel as a whole.

Nice room. Good bed. Hot tub was acting funny and there was someone going in and out all night in my floor. Lots of noise in the morning.

Liked · I LOVED mostly everything!I got the King Spa Room.. ANYTIME I book a room with a jacuzzi, I bring my own sprays and clean it (in-case it isn’t up to par).. This SPA was IMMACULATE. Not one spot on my rag!! The whole room was spotless actually!! They even provide DOVE products in the bathroom & bubbles for the SPA!! Willie at the front desk (Spanish Male with Glasses) was sooo nice & helpful.. He even called us after check-in (which went so smoothly and only took about 5 minutes) to make sure we were happy with the room!! (I’ve never experienced that, during an hotel stay). The property is very clean, quiet & up to date! Disliked · Like I said I loved mostly everything but there were a couple things I didn’t LOVE, but will not stop me from staying again.. The continental breakfast was EHH, the woman running it the morning of my check out 11/6/2023 was kind of rude & another woman at the front desk had a bit of an attitude.. I came down at 9:15 am and ALL i got was 2 undercooked waffles (the worker cooks it herself, if you try to touch waffle maker she will yell at you) & and an apple juice. No bacon, fruits, not your typical hotel breakfast, but they may have ran out (breakfast is between 6-10 I believe). Another EHH of mine was the in-suite bathroom.. It was SPOTLESS but the most outdated out of everything at this property. The shower is SMALL (maybe 3-4 feet wide MAX) & toilet is something like a public toilet.. The bed was very squeaky and wasn’t the best (but also wasn’t the WORST), atleast I didn’t wake up with back pain! The worst complaint I have is.. During my stay, they were getting work done in the parking lot so you had the choice of moving your car by 7 am or parking it in the parking garage across the street (they pay for it atleast) on the ROOF level. Carrying luggage on a about 10 minute walk in the middle of the night (we stayed out late, experiencing the city) wasn’t very comfortable for 2 women traveling solo.. but like I said they atleast paid for the parking.

I had an exceptional stay at the Ramada, 1000 baychester location in the Bronx. The room was clean, and the staff were very attentive to my needs. Kim made Sure my check in/out went smoothly, and helped make for a great experience. 10/10 would recommend. Oh, and the hot tub in my room was great!.

If you are interested in going to the zoo or botanical garden then this hotel's location would be good for you. If you are interested in going back and forth to Manhattan then avoid this place. The location is very inconvenient and going back and forth to the Manhattan is quite a headache by subway or by car. Overall, this hotel is what happens when one's desire to be in the hospitality business is trumped by one's lack of training and professionalism.Just because you can afford to buy a tiny little building and call it a hotel doesn't mean you should so. Be prepared to have someone smoking outside of your window or walking around with a leaf blower on full blast at 8 o'clock in the morning. They offer a complimentary breakfast that is wholly inadequate in variety and taste. The rooms, though very clean and tidy, are quite small even for the price.

Security guard Gio from Allied Universal was very helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. He made our stay so comfortable that me and my girl recommend him for highest honors at the Ramada Baychester. His sense of humor is going to take him further than you imagine.

The front staff is rude and dismissive of guests concerns. Breakfast is minimal, a waffle machine and some bagels and muffins. Coffee choices are better. The noise level is high, especially for the rooms facing the highway. Housekeeping work at night during quiet hours which is unacceptable . The front staff smoke cigarettes at the front door where the guests enter the building which is unacceptable. The product offered by the motel is not what they charge their high rates for!!

I have stayed in this month for the last month because my job had me in town. When I tell you Jocelyn is amazing I had a problem which was small it was fix within a couple hours. She really wanted to ensure that my stay was amazing and my experience was top tier. When I come back for work, this will be my home away from home going forward. Thank you so much Jocelyn you rock out!! :)

Have stayed over a dozen times. Mostly for day usage. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. The whole place is very clean and they serve a mild breakfast and coffee until 10am. Only downside was no AC to cool the rooms down after the heat had been turned down.

The room could do with an upgrade, but very clean. Service was excellent. Jose helped me with check in and he was exceptional. He went above and beyond. I was really impressed. The location is great. Shopping and lots of food choices nearby.

One night stay. Room, linens, and towels were clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast had cereal, some fruit, pastries, and a microwavable Jimmy Dean sandwich. This is all I can ask for, given the reasonable price. Parking was tight, but I arrived late at night and still got a spot. They say they provide vouchers for a nearby garage if their lot is full. The room did let a little too much light in. But I would stay here again.

This hotel is the worst!! I CAME HERE TO HANG OUT WITH MY SISTER FOR HER BIRTHDAY!!! The rooms are VERY DIRTY and DUSTY . The furniture was old had a lot of loose draws and chipped wood & also had chipped wall paper!!! Carpet and room had a funny/musty smell ! The tub/toilet & room you can tell was not properly cleaned and sanitize ! I had a double bed which I didn’t ASK for ! the room was for me and my boyfriend all I needed was one BED!!! The sheets was NOT CHANGED BOTH BEDS HAD STRAINS OFF HAIR THROUGH OUT THE BED AND ALSO IN THE TUB!!! WHEN I CALLED FRONT DESK & they sent over Housekeeping the Man DID NOT STILL CLEAN THE ROOM OR CHANGE THE SHEETS !!! HE SIMPLY CAME IN SPRAYED SOME STINK KIND OF AIR FRESHENER THAT MADE THE ROOM SMELL WORST & JUST DUSTED OFF THE BED!!!! I WAS ND STILL AM HIGHLY UPSET !!! COVID GUIDELINES FOR CLEANLINESS WAS DEFINITELY NOT FOLLOWED !!! Then when I asked to exchange room I couldn’t because I wanted to visit my sister who also had been registered and brought a room as well !! & “Supposedly visiting wasn’t allowed “! But had signs mounted on walls that stated otherwise !!! So I had to choose weather to sleep in a dirty room that is overpriced and I had to sanitize and sterilely clean myself with my personal Lysol & Clorox spray/wipes !!! Or be able to hang with my sister in her room ! Which was the whole point of coming to this B.S hotel !! I STOOD IN MOTELS THAT WAS BETTER NEVER AGAIN FIRST ND LAST TIME I WOULD EVER COME HERE !!! THE OUTSIDE OF BUILDING IS BEAUTIFUL INSIDE HORRIBLE ND DEPRESSING LOOKING!!!!! FELT LIKE I WAS IN SOME TYPE OF TRAP HOUSE !!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE !!!!

The all the staff is the most welcoming and professional. In either shift they are awesome. They should be fully properly supported by management to keep that consistent. This would have been 5 stars had there been hot water during my stay. Apparently once I took my shower the hot water didn't come back the rest of the stay. That consisted of over 18 hrs no hot water in room 112. Not sure if I would come back due to the lack of upkeep in this area.

Stayed here over two work trips. Does the job as a hotel. Not a 5 start hotel, but 5 stars for the price in NYC. Service is actually pretty great and Jocelyn was super helpful after I missed up a reservation.

Wasnt the best first impression. Under construction. Small car park. Not the best area. Reception very small, rooms were clean however toilet paper was a bit far from the toilet. Breakfast I can rate 3/10, but I guess it did the job. Staff are friendly though.

I was given room (#C20) right across from the breakfast Cafe was noisy all morning. The room next door was a short stay ( 3/4 hrs room) which people were slamming the door all night and the housekeeper was super noisy just cleaning the room. The parking lot was too small; the additional parking lot is too far from the hotel. It was a brutal walk for me, because I'm disabled. There are only two handicap parking spots in the main parking lot near the hotel so ( IF YOU'RE HANDICAP OR DISABLED I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL) The outside of the hotel is being renovation which I wasn't informed over the phone by Mr. Justin before I made reservations. The hotel is also located in a dark and deserted area. The rooms aren't handicap accessible. Items are too hard to reach in the bathroom. They also turn off the central air due to the season so I could NOT control the temperature in the room! Over all the shenanigans and disappointment with the hotel the stuff were friendly, professional and apologetic..!

Was very disappointed when we arrived the smell of someone smoking (not cigarettes) was so strong in the hallway was horrible that right there made me sick. Then the sheets in the room had cigarette burns and this is suppose to be non smoking lol yea ok. Parking is horrible . The front desk attitude was not needed to top it off. Then during the stay the hotel loss electricity and when we ask what happens the response is I don’t know and kept waking. The lady then said call your booking tell them give u a refund if I don’t like it .. smh won’t stay nor recommend anyone to either..

  • 3/5 Selena F. 11 months ago on Google
The pillows are SOOOO uncomfortable. They are square and lumpy, providing no support or comfort. They are so bad that is why I’m making the review. My necks hurts trying to use these. The rooms look nice but you can tell they are not as clean as they should be for the price (I notice debri on the corners of the floor, not properly swept). The TVs HDMI port is blocked. There is a tv with channels but no channel guide. It can be noisy at night, walls are thin.

  • 1/5 KICKINITWITHRO 9 months ago on Google
The parking lot is extremely small and there is no extra parking/ overflow parking. Night time clerk male is rude and do not attempt to satisfy the customers concerns as well as blow it off completely. I do not trust to book online because they will try to play you out the discount provided and act like the math be matching when it does not at all. I would not recommend staying at this hotel ever in life.

  • 5/5 Michael M. 9 months ago on Google
I couldn't ask for anything more, staff is great, especially Jocelyn at the front desk who is always very professional and informative to the area. Rooms are spacious and clean, and there is also a plaza around the corner to get food and basic needs...I would definitely recommend as my stays are always quiet and enjoyable.

This is a newly renovated hotel. The rooms are small but everything is new BUT microwaves aren't allowed in the rooms and they have a basement level where there is a microwave that everyone can use. Didn't care for the basement level but I had no choice: I have to eat. Stayed in my room after we came to realize that this place was renting rooms short time, too. One guy walked up and tri d to solicit my friend when she was outside having a cigarette. Not nice at all. Other than the basement and going to work, I decided it was prudent to just stay in.

When we first got there the elevator was not functional it was repaired the next day, the parking lot is very small with a limited amount of cars able to park, and it still seems to be partially under construction? Signage on the building itself was virtually non-existent. However the staff was super nice and super apologetic for not having the elevator in service. And the manager went out of his way to help us with our luggage upstairs

The room was very stained and cleaned, quiet area a nice customer service. But guys common the parking lot is too small for place you could do better.

Jocelyn at the front desk is the epitome of what it means to display exemplary customer service with respect to exhibiting overall excellence in knowledge and experience and taking her job description to a whole other level with how she shows the guests courtesy and professionalism at its best and apparently unmatched because no one does it like herself and she deserves the highest accolades in regards to her position because it's done so effortlessly which is a beautiful quality that she possesses and it's beautiful to see

This hotel has the most amazing front desk staff. Willie checked me in, welcomed me to New York and procured all of my room request. Ms. Jocelyn answered all my questions with a smile and was very accommodating. Between the two of them I feel at home and I will book here again. Thank you guys for taking the time to not just do your job but go above and beyond! See you next visit Jocelyn☀️

An okay place to stay. The staffs are AMAZING, they are super nice and kind. The place feels a little unsafe for me. The room is fine and with a very big hot tub, which is very uncommon in hotels. I have to say this place only worth one star without all the nice staffs. The room on the road side is a little noisy.

The hotel seems to have been renovated if it wasn't actually built recently. The room was clean and modern if small--but what isn't compact around the city. Parking was limited, but I found a space. Jocelyn at the front desk was personable and engaging. Being a seminar leader who provides professional development in many subjects, including customer service, I found her to be great!

Staff was absolutely fantastic. Rooms smelt of cigarettes but it didn't really bother us too much as we didn't spend much time there. Breakfast was decent and had a very friendly tendant assisting with waffles and clean up.

We have stayed at Ramada by Wyndham four times in the past 2 months. We really like staying here because the staff is friendly and the lobby, rooms, and breakfast area are clean and smells good too. They have a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items. The coffee is also good. Fanny, the breakfast attendant is very helpful and friendly. She makes the waffles in two different flavors. The area is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the Bronx. We will stay here again soon.

We went here for my 30th birthday weekend. We initially had issues with the bank and had to settle for a different room. When my husband and I arrived to check in Kim was incredibly understanding and upgraded us with no extra charge to a room we initially wanted (with a hot tub). Kim and Willie were amazing and their understanding helped make this birthday weekend great!

Jocelyn "who?" "WHAT?" ❤️ She is it? I think she is a great person with a substantial personality and a significant personality. She is easily distinguished from the rest. I believe that she is destined for greatness, with a smile like hers and a good head on her shoulders (as she carries) she must be a great asset to your establishment. Clean place, clean rooms and feeling was comfortable. Thank you for making my stay safe and memorable 💓 YOUR really someone to keep an eye on and never let go of (In my opinion)!!

I just had a great stay at the Ramada Hotel. Stayed here for a night just for a party and The staff, especially Willie and Kim, were absolutely incredible. They were so friendly and helpful, and they really made me feel at home. The room was so cozy and clean, pillows maybe too firm but overall great.
