Delicious veggie burger and chips. Yummy chocolate milkshake. Staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely little spot.

The most welcoming and friendly service I received in a long time. We ordered take away calamari and chicken burger. High quality and tasty food. My only criticism is to give serviettes and disposable cutlery with a take away. It was a bit of a struggle eating salad with my hands.

We have eaten at all the restaurants in Hermanus and Hopside Down has the best pizza. The dough has just the right chewiness and flavour. It is not too thick or too thin. There is enough cheese and sauce. My wife has found that some of the toppings may make the pizza a bit soggy, so we get salami and olives now and are happy every time. Whenever we go out for pizza we go here. My wife also gets the jalapeño poppers, which are baked in lots of cheese in the pizza oven. My son likes the chips and the pizza. Check the opening times as their schedule is a bit unpredictable, but it is worth going. Our only complaint is that the open window for the counter behind the bar allows the stench of cigarette smoke to flow into the restaurant. If they could close that window it would be great.

The best pizza I have ever eaten. Really fantastic pizza base. Prices reasonable and service great without being in your face. Hope I get an opportunity to come back to Hermanus to try some other dishes on the menu although there is a good chance I will go for pizza again

Excellent sea side restaurant with exactly the chilled vibes you would want pre or post the beach. Great craft beer selection, wonderful food and very attentive service by the courteous staff during an especially busy Dec season. They do early morning coffee too so good for a visit after your run/ride.

Easy place to enjoy great pizza (closest to Napolitana at Southern Hemisphere), spare ribs and some more with nice range of beers. The lovely and nice service is there obvious.

This is hands down our favourite place in Hermanus. From Cocktails to Beer to Pizza’s to Burger’s- you can’t go wrong! Definitely a must visit!! Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere.

As a pizza lover, I have tasted many pizzas, and this is my favourite by far! Really delicious pizza that make you want to come back for more! The beer selection is a cherry on top!

We received excellent service from Sanele! Definitely the best barista in town, he is very passionate about serving the best coffee and also very knowledgeable on the available and best beers.

Sanel was such a great waiter. The OG Pizza was awesome and better than any steak you can get in this area. You definitely need to come here if you crave a good pizza neapolitan style.

Wonderful atmosphere great vibe and love the location. The food portions are a little small for the price, pity, but it's a great spot you must visit!!
