A beautiful romantic hideaway with amazing views from the bed, the bath and the hot tub! It was a breathtaking stay in the Aloe Suite, the photos are a true reflection of the lovely room. Lovely modern, immaculate decor, every little detail accounted for, even down to lovely scented natural make up removing wipes, super soft gowns, loads of wood for the wood fired hot tub, candles. Breakfast was delicious, starting with fruit, yoghurt and muesli followed by a full cooked breakfast and chocolate muffins. A coffee and tea tray was already provided in the room with a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. Everything was perfect. A 10 minute walk into the town - but why would you even want to leave?

A beautiful guest house run with love. We were guests of Linda for three nights and it was very nice. The rooms are very nicely decorated, you have plenty of space and the attention to detail you can see on every meter. For breakfast there was every morning something different, freshly prepared to eat, which was always very tasty. It felt very homely, for breakfast there were always recommendations what we can do and where, for example, the whales are just well visible. We would always come back, it is highly recommended. Linda, you have a beautiful guest house!

A big thank you for the wonderful staff and owners of this magnificent place. We were in Hermanus for a short stay of two nights and we are fully satisfied with the hospitality, facilities and service from this place. The view is wonderful, the gentle breeze and the hot tub were nice extras. The is a nice walk/hike along the coast as well and the breakfast is lovely. If we would come back for the whales during a season to watch them, we will definitely book here for Hermanus again. Thanks again and hope to visit South Africa maybe some time in the next year again. All the best!

What a truly stunning place - the room itself was just sublime and the views were incredible - only had a short stay here but felt so at home from the minute we arrived - made the most of the hot-tub, enjoying a glass of wine or 2 as the sun went down - opened up the doors in the morning and enjoyed the views from the very comfortable bed as the sun rose - website does not exaggerate the quality of the accommodation or its location - could happily stay here a month enjoying Hermanus and the surrounding area.

Beautiful location, perfectly decorated suites, relaxation level = 1 million Star gazing in the hot tub and Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the fynbos below and breakfast in bed made our stay even more special. Linda and Martyn are wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. Highly recommended to anyone wanting the perfect experience.

Wow what a great guest house. The owners are just amazing and go above and beyond. They even kindly helped wash our clothes. I mean where would you get service like this? Just amazing! The room we had was just perfect super large and amazing for the 3 of us. Great location, great breakfast, great hospitality. Enjoy your stay, I'm super jealous!

The rooms are incredibly beautiful, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Botanical Suite, which was light airy and spacious. The room leads to a private balcony, overlooking the city with distant sea views and a private wood fired hot tub! The hosts are welcoming, friendly without being intrusive, they go to every extent to provide a comfortable stay and an unforgettable experience for all guests. There was complimentary wine, chocolate, water, tea, coffee, wood and even gentle make up remover swabs in the room. Linda even baked us a delicious birthday carrot cake with birthday balloons and confetti at our breakfast table for my partners birthday. The breakfast was spectacular, we had something unique but equally delicious each day (vegetarian friendly if required). If you a looking for an intimate escape in Hermanus, but still a few minutes away from town, this is it. Highly recommended!

Great accommodation with an unforgettable view! We stayed with Linda and Martyn - which are lovely hosts - for two nights. The room is great. It is relatively big, clean and the balcony with the hot tub and its view is amazing. There is no TV in the room, but you definitely won’t miss it. The breakfast was included and changed slightly everyday. Everything was delicious. They also consider special requests (e.g. vegetarian). The house is located in a safe area and in walking distance from the city center (approx 15min). To sum it up: We can definitely recommend the apartment and would come back anytime.

We had the most amazing time at Ridge house, absolutely breathtaking accommodation that was well equipped and super neat and modern, not to mention the most delicious breakfast which was served at our request on our patio. Will most definitely be back. Thank you to the lovely hosts

One of my favorite get away destinations. Each room is uniquely designed to provide comfort and relaxation. You won't easily find better hosts than Linda and Martyn. They care about their guests and are very accommodating. The wood-fired hot tubs are a great addition to the rooms. You decide when and how hot you want to make them. Suitable for any time of the year. I would definitely recommend this to any couple that are looking for a weekend away or for a honeymoon. The website is probably one of the best I have encountered with all the required information and beautiful pictures that exactly represent what you are getting. The view from each room looks out on Hermanus and the ocean. It is quiet and surrounded by nature. If you come at the right time, you might spot some whales. They also have solar power for when Eskom tries to ruin your day.
